In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how I make my Stickers at home! I love making new fun sticker designs and I like to keep my products great quality! So a couple months ago I decided to make all of my stickers waterproof, which meant always ordering from sticker app. Being a small shop, I don't always need large numbers of stickers for my shop so their 20 sticker minimums can be too much! With having to order several of each design, it becomes pricy and can stop you from adding new items frequently!
In this tutorial, I'll show you how I make my Laminated Stickers, which are waterproof, thick, shiny, and high quality! Hi there! Thank you for this tutorial! I actually just wanted to share my experience for anyone who wants to try this.
It makes laminating stickers super easy as you don't need to work about air bubbles or anything if you do it self adhesive.
My only issue that I found with this is that if you stick these stickers on something not flat (like a water bottle), they don't stick very well. This is because the laminate is 3mil and is fairly thick compared to self adhesive (which is a lot thinner!). I found that my stickers would stick out on the edges because of that:( However, they do stick very well on flat surfaces! Hope this helps for anyone who is trying to laminate their stickers:)
Thanks for your input Sam! I use stickers on my laptop and phone (which have stuck and displayed beautifully) but I’ll try to stick some on a water bottle to trouble shoot and see if I can help It stick better! If I come back with tips I’ll let you guys know!
Yes I agree you . If you use laminating cover sticker . They are very good quality but it is thickness, they will good lie flat surface. My family use laminating protect all photo so they can last forever. But if you apply in around surface like bottle like mugs maybe sticker will not stay well .
Could it be the sticker paper you're using? I just watched another video where the person tested out 3 different kinds of paper with laminate and was able to stick them to a water bottle just fine. it might just depend on the flexibility of the paper or maybe they used a thinner laminate?
Can you use on acrylic keychains with uv resin?
I wish you'd have shown footage of peeling at least one from its backing. That would've been very helpful to demonstrate that the lamination does NOT separate. Thanks for the video! I never thought to do this! 💚

Thank you so much! Was looking for a way to laminate my stickers. Tried some self-adhesive laminate (not Avery brand) but my stickers came out duller than they actually are (not happy). Stumbled upon you video and realized I have a laminator with exact same Amazon laminating sheets. Just did the stickers. My Cricut maker cut with no issues (w/o matte tape as I didn't have it). The stickers came out so beautiful! Glossy and vibrant! The thickness is optimal as well. They stick easily to my water bottle, no separating of the laminate layer so far. Very happy, thank you so much!

This is the best method, i just switched from adhesive laminate rolls to this pouch method and omg, life changing. I don't put anything between them though and they've never stuck together once i cut the excess off!

I just used this method with a Cameo 4. Works great. Never would have thought of the tape over the registration lines. It doesn't work for me, unless I use the tape. Thank you. They end up thicker of course, so I am trying on water bottles. That's where kids are mainly putting them. Thicker edges may mean more likely to peel as they get knocked around in backpacks, etc. Will give it a test and see. Thank you

GIRL! You are my new hero! I spent all last night trying to figure out self-adhesive laminating paper and I ended up ruining like 5 full sheets of AMAZING vinyl sticker paper because of ding-dang air bubbles. I'm going out to buy a laminator today!!
You're welcome! The laminator works with self adhesive laminating sheets too on the cold setting, much less bubbles!

Love how you are waterproofing your stickers. There's other ways that seem much more expensive. I'm wondering before laminating, giving the stickers a shot of uv protection spray by Krylon.

I am new to creating stickers. These look amazing and such cute artwork. It looks like you're using a waterproof shiny sticker paper. Why do you need to laminate on top that paper? Can you use this technique for car magnets too?

I’ve actually only tried with the circuit but I see people using the cameo machines as well and I’ve seen people use glitter foil but I’ve never tried?

Why would the sheet of laminate peel off after I cut the sticker out? It doesn’t fall right off but if I bend the sticker back it pulls away from the sticker.
