The chair is not super comfortable  and actualy causes minor pressure at my tailbone. The bottom of the chair has no lean back adj and the back has minimal lean back adj. the arm rests are the worst i have ever used and actually broke while i used them as support to schootch my self back into the seat. The back, lumbar, and rotation of the arm rests have no locks making the hinomi x1 the most aggravating  chair to ever use. Homestly i might have been better off buying a chair from walmart and setting the extra 950$ on fire instead of buying the hinomi x1
Glad I have just seen this as I was going to order this chair, but not now really put me off.

The armrest are my main issue because I'm a gamer and didn't want them to move so easily..
So if you could, but again, what would you recommend .

apparently there are surplus of Herman Miller Aeron Remastered and Steelcase Leap v2 chairs that corporations ordered during the plandemic and now most of their employees work from home so they don't need them. This caused a bunch of random people to start businesses selling those chairs. I found one of the guys on facebook marketplace and drove 3 hours to get one. It was $785 brand new fully loaded, wrapped in plastic and tag hanging from it still. He had stacks of Herman Miller and Steelcase chairs in his home garage. Funny thing is that the next day since the algorithm feeds me these chair listings every day, a guy a few minutes away posted a used last gen Aeron fully loaded chair with posture fit , few years old in perfect condition for $20 LOL. Now I have two. They are great! check around!
Getting Aeron won't go wrong, I just upgraded to Embody. its a totally diff league :) and I sold my Hinomi H1 Pro too coz it sucks
Its situations like yours as well as many of my own/other youtuber's/friends, that has fueled me to start a new Series on my Channel... "My Channel's Relaunch is not too far away". You should have been able to source your own suitable box to return the chair. Sheesh! it would probably have been a better packed box than theirs, as you would have wanted a full refund... First the fact that the hinomi was that expensive for you, holy fuck, official site tells me I can get one for 660€, and you not being able to return it for just a small thing...
I would recommend that you try before you buy if you gonna spend that much. I took a 200 mile trip to check some Steelcase chairs.

Easily the best chair I’ve ever owned. I’m coming from three generations of Secret Lab chairs, and there’s no comparison.
The lumbar, posture, arm rests, movement, everything is perfect.
Sounds like this guy is just a violent sitter. There’s so much misinformation in this video.
And the chair isn’t $1000. It’s $650. It’s never not on sale.
The arm rests are the first I’ve had where I didn’t need extra padding on the arm rest. I’m constantly, purposefully, making little adjustments to the position and it’s amazing that I don’t have to push in a button to do that - I’ll quickly have it on one position when using my mouse, and a different position when typing. It’s instant to reposition and becomes second nature.
Also, clean your closet.
Hard to claim misinformation when I literally show my issues also they claim it as a 1000$ chair that happens to be on sale and if it’s alwase on sale then it’s not actually on sale and is a scam. Also it’s odd you mention padding because it’s not exactly a plush feeling like the leather chairs I have, it more matches the arm rest on my main gear chair except significantly worse for reasons explained in the video. Also if the armrest is wide enough like the one on my main gear chair then your arm has support in both mouse and keyboard position. I think I mentioned something about the lumbar being fine with the main issue being that I can’t lock it in place so idk if it’s because I’m 6,2 that I have these issues I don’t see short people having the same ones as I did but that’s also why I mention my height and weight in the video. And for the secret lab chairs that you used for me personally I don’t like how hard the seats are and especially how high and hard the bolsters are they look good but are not worth the hype

I was seriously considering buying the x1 until I read there is no warranty on the mesh and arm rests. 12yrs on certain parts and 7yrs on the rest. This is a very expensive chair and major purchase not to have a complete 12yr warranty on all parts. I hope Hinomi reconsiders expanding the warranty to cover the entire chair.
No chair company will cover the seat as it's subjected to wear and tear.
@@Veiljustin83 that's not completely true. Some do offer premature wear or tear if it's not found to be caused by abuse or improper care. Normal wear and tear is expected on all parts just not the seat covering. If you've read various warranties you would know they do warranty the complete chair. Hinomi offers no warranty on the mesh from day one of it being received. That is not common
I'll buy it off you if you still have it depending on your price
I no longer have the chair. As long as you keep the box hinomi will take it back with no issue if you want to just try one out
