What a dishonest video. I stopped once you started talking about the buttons. Everything before that was misleading too. I'm an arcade1up owner and the truth is 2 grown adults cannot comfortably play 2 players. It IS too small. The screen size is a tiny 17 inches. The buttons and sticks are generic and feel cheap. The online play suffers from lag issues and I have blazing fast internet. The cabinet is made of cheap pressed wood. The artwork at times peels off on its own. They are cool for what they are but don't mislead people with your fake reviews.
You're entitled to your own opinion - I paid MSRP for my cabs and shared my honest feedback, just like you have a right to do as well. If you disagree, so be it, but don't assume that everyone has to have the same opinion as you :)
I'm 6'2" 175 lbs and my son is 4'10" 85 lbs. It's prettttttttty rough to play next to him. You for sure can't play competitively against anybody locally, and you're right about the buttons being real bad. Nobody thinks they are good, though. Only this guy.
I love the cabinet. I'm glad I have it. It was way too expensive for the quality of the products used across the board, and I'm not sure I would have bought it if I played it before hand. If I wasn't obsessed with Marvel 2 back in the early 2000s, I'd for sure pass on this one.
Are you able to turn the music audio up and down to where you can just hear the voices of the characters? When playing fighting games I like to have my own music playing in the background.
I just checked Marvel Vs. Capcom 1 and 2 for you and unfortunately there is no option to adjust any of the sound settings in either game to allow for the music to be turned off and only the fighting to be heard :(

The company is lacking with fan service. They should be doing monthly Championship youtube videos to bring more people
This is actually a really awesome idea - a little more love for the community would go a really long way to keeping people engaged!
Thats because those last 2 games were what we got for home versions since back then the arcade games couldnt be ported on the snes...

The joysticks and buttons sound very cheap.. i would just got the rom and build my own cabinet
A lot of people have an issue with the joystick and buttons on the 1UP cabs but I don't find them too bad. The mic is picking up a lot more of the clicking noise than you experience in person, but they definitely feel a tad cheaper than an arcade machines. I would have loved to have built my own cab, but I lack the skill power and will power to do it lol. Maybe a future project though!!
Yeah, they are cheap for sure. If you only ever played on Arcade1Ups you'd never care, but if you've ever played on a fight stick or a real cabinet, it's immediately obvious that they're suuuuuuuuuper cheap. Real mushy buttons, bad for mashing, which is a shame because Marvel 2.
You literally pick the slowest character and the slowest stage on war of the gems 😂🤣
Can you play as the secret characters in marvel superheroes on this or the secret characters in the other games.
Changing the difficulty doesn’t work…
I’d say if there’s not one already a Facebook group for people with this cabinet so we can all arrange and see who’s getting online , I just got mine today

Ao i just ordered this and im seeing alot of ppl complain about inout lag but its older reddit post, do you feel thats still an issue? Also im pretty casual definitely not pro level or anything
I don't feel much input lag, if any, for any of the local played games. I do notice a slight input lag on some of the online games, particularly games where you are executing big air combos like MvsC2. The online experience is honestly pretty bad for that game last I tried it, but the local play is excellent!
I heard the sound is pretty loud pretty good it's the loudest sound on any other one up arcade machines 🕹🎮😀👍🏾
It's really loud! Awesome if you want the arcade feel, not so awesome if you're playing at 2 AM when everyone else is asleep 😝

Maybe we did! I haven't played on easy mode on any of the games though, so maybe it wasn't me :(

Lobbies are dead for most of the time. MvC1 and maybe MvC2 are the only live lobbies now. Even then it is hit and miss.
My experience exactly! At least the local experience is still great, but I wish they did a better job of encouraging online play!
@@itsyaboishibuya8184 yeah but what does that say about A1UP? Only reason they updated the cab at all was the Kith release.
@@user-ro1vn7ch4c So true - I still do enjoy the nostalgia this cab brings to my basement, but lots of room for improvement in the software! Hopefully they can get it all ironed out before they do a Capcom Vs. SNK 2 release, which would be a dream!
I got the ps3 digital version and the lobbies are still kicking
The older cabinet was way better
I'm curious to see where they will go with the new cabs. Arcade1Up seems to be going back to 2 to 3 game cabs unfortunately!

Overall this cab is pretty awesome, do you have a slight background fuzz noise on the speakers like mine? Dont notice it when its loud. I'm upgrading the buttons to Sanwa
I haven't noticed it, but I do have mine in the basement so there are plenty of other random furnace / hvac noises that drown out the peace and quiet! :D
