man i was hoping to see a 4 player gauntlet cab. i would love the offroad one though.
There is a mod online of a 1up cab with a 4 stick setup. They players are there it's an easy fix

Numskull want to release a quarter arcade version of Track and Field, but they can't track down the creator of the original side art for permission.
But I'm surprised they haven't considered a WrestleMania arcade game yet, considering how many Midway machines of the era they've released already.
Wrestlemania and Wrestlefest have both been discussed as possibilities. The issue is the licensing of the wrestlers. Some are dead, some likely won't want to be associated with it, there's no more WWF (it's now WWE). So if they do make it, it's not going to be 100% original to the arcade. By how much we would have to see, but in any case I guarantee people will complain about it not be 100% authentic, just like they did with NFL Blitz and some of the changes that had to be made for that to get released.

Neo Geo had some of my favorite games. King of Monsters, Cup 98’, a Samurai Showdown, and Sengoku.

I’d consider getting the MvC XL if it ran MvC 2 better as well. Hopefully they release some of them!
They need to do a LOT more XL cabs next year than just these four... they've got the priority reversed (should be 2/3 vs. 1/3 in favor of XLs). The market is moving very quickly that way, and they're gonna leave money on the table. That said, this is a fascinating list. Thanks for the find, Bill!

Not a bad list of possibles, but seriously, we’ve been loud for far too long.
Where’s Q-Bert? Where’s Robotron? Where’s Spyhunter, Afterburner, MK4, Open Ice, Punisher, Darkstalkers, Primal Rage etc?
Lethal Enforcers 1 and 2, Police Trainer and Sharp Shooter would be great on the same machine! Area 51 would be good too.
Star Wars XL would be an instant buy for me. Track and Field would consider, but the XL cabs are growing on me, so would see if a XL would come out in the future. And although not into fighting games, Marvel vs Capcom 2 XL may buy, depending on the games they come with but think would be mostly fighting games like the current one.
All in all though, looks like a good list of cabs for next year.
I wish I could hold off for all XL versions. Every gane should be Deluxe and XL moving forward. I think they get a lot of 1st time/Only time purchases from big box stores for the smaller games because of impulsive shopping and the nostalgia spike. Maybe that is where they choose t to keep their focus? I personally had instant buyers remorse when I finished assembling Big Blue and was like., "Aint no way two adults gonna play this comfortably at the same time."
It's tough when you don't know with 100% certainty what will be remade in XL and what won't. It's a catch-22. Do I wait and hope they release this in XL, or do I buy it now, especially when it goes on sale at a much better price? I do think a lot of games will get a re-release at least in deluxe format and many (if not all) of those will also get the XL treatment at some point. Thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment.
Interesting list. I am very surprised you missed these two that will be out for sure in 2024. Space Ace will be out and also they are coming out with a Crystal Castles cab. Both in the spring 2024

I keep hoping they'll take the route of the unexplored Universal Entertainment games---stuff like Mr. Do. Heck, I'm surprised Arkanoid hasn't made the list.
I would love to see a Streets of Rage and Robocop Cab. That i would buy straight away.

Bill. This video is very informative and totally cool. Now, here is my dilemma. If A1Up releases a new Pac-Man partycade, it will need to have at least 14 games in a BOE monitor and lighted marquee, which the previous versions did not have. Otherwise, it would be just a waste of time and not worth my interest. (Still have my Super Pac-Man partycade and that is a keeper.) I have both the Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man (Black version, which I think is uber cool!) in the Legacy Cabs. I have a very strong feeling that either late in 2024 or in 2025, A1Up would likely release the Pro versions of Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man (Black version I hope!), in which both must have a BOE monitor that is about 22 or 23 inches, have about 20 or 22 games and have superior buttons and joystick. If the Pro versions come, I would indeed get the Pro models and finally part with my Legacy cabs.
I knew about Track & Field. They are doing a 2024 Summer Olympics tie-in.
A couple of exciting games in there, but I'd still love to see a Afterburner ii.

I like that Konami is considering a Lethal Enforcers cabinet. I hope they also consider a Sunset Riders cabinet too.
Smash TV, TMNT rehash, and TNF are for sure coming out. The rest mentioned could be stretched between 2024-2025. That’s way too much for arcade 1up to handle after previous disappointing years.
The Off road cab should have Sprint please

I still think a SEGA vector games collection in a Space Fury cabinet would do very well.
A Raiden collection be great, too. Raiden, Raiden II, and Viper Phase 1.
Maybe a Sega Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator cabinet with Space Fury, TacScan, Astro Blaster, Eliminator, Zektor? Panel would have a rotary and a few buttons. Monitor would be horizontal.

how about Paperboy, M.A.C.H 3 and Arkanoid ? I remember seeing people in the arcade that were playing Track&Field were using a cigarette lighter as a cheat tool by sliding it back and forth over the buttons to run faster lol
@12:44 one interesting addition they could do for _any_ arcade1up cab based on any Disney IP (as long as it has a 4-way stick and at least two buttons), is Fix-It Felix Jr. They put that on the AtGames Legends Ultimate; they can put it on an Arcade1up if they want. That's a cheap and easy out. Personally I hope they add other Capcom titles like Ghosts and Goblins or 1944; those are getting harder to find on their copious Street Fighter cabs.
Track and field is a day one buy for me! Has some much fun with it at Chuck E. Cheese!

I have a X-men 4 player dedicated with many Konami pcbs Simpson both turtles and missile command cabaret. I do like the star wars xl and snk neo geo by 1up only ones I would get. I have a supergun too with Pandora’s box
I have a few Arcade1up cabs and they contain all the classic arcade games I have wanted, and that is likely true for the vast majority people that have bought their products. Hardcore collectors might want to every cab for their private collection, but that would be very small percentage of customers. It will be interesting to see how Arcade1up transforms their business over the next couple of years. People are not going to be buying re-skinned cabinets with the same games inside, nor new cabs of failed\bad arcade games that only a few remember. There is a good chance Arcade1up will branch into retro-console emulators (not as cabs) if they can secure the rights. Bottomline, if they don't reinvent themselves into something more than retro arcade games from 70s-80s, Arcade1up will be gone within 5 years.

The neogeo is always a weird one that I keep hearing people bring up. SNK already partnered with unico to make a really cood arcade cab that came with 50 games on it that ranged between $500-$650. I cant imagive Aracde 1 up being able to match anywhere near that priice without massivle cutting back on the game list.

TMNT will undoubtedly be the same thing as the “Cowabunga Collection” on consoles. If it weren’t, they’d name it something slightly different! It may even have something extra, but it’ll be the same basic thing.

Thanks for the heads up on everything Arcade1Up! Just ordered my first one. Mainly because I didn't really know much about them until I saw a Simpsons Arcade on HSN. I've been looking for that game ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE since it disappeared from my local Arcades in the 90's. I was so disappointed. It was my favorite game.
As far as the TMNT Cowabunga speculation, I have a theory. A TMNT/Simpsons Deluxe or XL unit. Why?Hear me out. lol
Even though Cowabunga is a TMNT thing, Bart Simpson has said it, too. Only about 4 or 5 times, but I think people still associate it with him too.
Now look at both the TMNT AND The Simpsons control panel. They both have 4 player controls. And people have complained that the addition of the roller ball for Bowling on the Simpsons Arcade shifted Homer's controls, making it harder to play his player. Some people weren't happy about it. It’s understandable.
By combining TMNT/Simpsons, and making a bigger box, they can return ALL the controls to comfortable playing locations, and maybe even keep the roller ball on there too, adding all the TMNT games and all the Simpsons games.
If it was affordable, I'd buy it, even though I just ordered the Simpsons Arcade Bundle yesterday. Not usually a rebuyer of something I already have, but if it's a better version, with more games, I can justify it.
What do you think? Sound plausible?
Hey! Thanks for watching. Good comment and I think a lot of people would love a multi-game 4-player cab like you mentioned. The problem, as always with things like this, comes down to licensing.
Even though both games were made by Konami, The Simpsons brand is owned by Fox (Disney) and TMNT is owned by Nickelodeon. The odds of getting those two companies to allow their respective products to be on the same machine is slim, unfortunately. So while it would be great to see (and throw in other games like X-Men, Sunset Riders, etc...) unfortunately the odds of it happening due to the different brand licensing makes it near impossible.
Man, if they put out a Track & Field machine. it will not last long if people slammed on the button like crazy. it's a button munching to extreme machine. I could see hyper sport be included with track and field by the way.
One doesn’t mash on track n field, one licks the tips of the 4 fingers and cycles them over the buttons. 🏃♂️

If they do bring out Star Wars in XL format, I hope this version will include the bezel frame panels that go around the screen. I also hope it will include the updated GRS flight yoke control, to give this new larger cab that real authentic feel like the original cab from 1983.

Smash tv is cool and all but the iiRcade really already scratched that itch. The Robotron artwork fits my arcade motif though.

No they don't. That's a tough one to emulate and is probably beyond their capabilities at the moment.. maybe if they upgrade the chipsets on their main boards in the future they could pull that off, but not yet.

I love lethal enforcers I had 1 and 2 on Sega CD. I hoping to see house of the dead 2 but i settle for tthat 1 too. I love Street fighter 3 alpha is the best. Far TMNT go if they do get an okay I hope turtles in time reshell apart of it. No Daytona USA 1,2,&3 🙄💔 if arcade 1 up got a deal with neo geo we need a snk vs capcom cab
