I think RWBY should have no more than 12 volumes in total. When you think about it, vol-1-3 is the Vale saga, 4-6 is the Mistral saga, and 7-9 is the Atlas/Everafter saga, so volumes 10-12 would be the Vacuo saga, which is the final kingdom to visit. Besides, there’s no reason for there to be any more volumes since pretty much all of Remnant is currently united to fight against Salem and her very few remaining allies and the only things left to do before the final battle is to meet professor Theodore( the last headmaster) find the last two relics, and learn who the summer maiden is.
Very happy we're going to finally see more RWBY. Pretty sure we won't see anything massive like a new volume until at least Fall 2026, but we finally know that we are headed in that direction. It's a relief.
As for the new outfits, definitely looking forward to that.
- Ruby looks close to the same but with a different skirt than before and cut out shoulders, similar to her mother's
- Weiss doesn't need heavy winter clothing anymore and seems to have a bit of her Volume 1 look back
- Yang's going for a gym girl look
- Blake's earrings and hairstyle are very reminiscent of her mother's as well
I'm guessing the full details for the new Vacuo-arc outfits haven't even been finalized yet, hence why the characters are shown mostly in shadow in that poster. There may be a few basic concept arts that they're going off of right now, but it may not reflect what we ultimately see.
Just 2-3 more volumes I believe is all they need to finish this series.
Or at least this arc.
I think that's a fair estimate. 3 seasons seems likely in my mind as well

Honestly, I wasn't overly worried about RWBY's future, I was optimistic it would find a home, but I am glad that we can finally scratch this itch.

I'm so happy I could cry. Viz Media... FREAKING VIZ, I have NO doubts that the future of RWBY will be treated with as much love and care as every bit before it, hopefully as many of the CRWBY as can be found their way with it.

OK now that I’ve seen the whole thing the only thing I hope, but I’m not going to hold. My breath is them getting in the original voice actors because even though they are all problems problems to the point, where I’d rather personally see a full reboot of the series the biggest thing I want is to see a conclusion to the story.

Since VIZ is a prominent anime company, perhaps RWBY will be in good hands in the future. I hope that the episodes would be better thought out since Roosterteeth often rush plot paces due to financial matters and time deadlines

HIP HIP HOORAY!!! I couldn't think of a better home for RWBY. VIZ Media is the perfect place for RWBY. I wouldn't mind it if the animation was changed to something like in Ice Queendom, as long as they continue where Volume 9 left off. This feels like being reunited with an old friend

Maybe One Day, Now That RWBY is now safe with Viz Media, It will probably have The Live Action Adaptation on Netflix. After One Piece & Avatar: The Last Airbender and maybe a new game similar to Jump Force or League of Legends.

Some people had told me to give up hope for this show but I never did just like naruto did with sasuke and the company that did naruto is working on it can't wait for the character design and development.
I gave up on the show when i couldn't watch it on youtube. Nice to know it's in good hands.

They did. But it probably the sale voided those contracts so they had to come down.
Viz promised to release them so they should be back somewhere.
Movies instead of 10. RWBY now an Anime in effect going forward and doing Movies is quite popular with Anime productions now. And so next up might be Movies that maybe broken into 10 after they are released as often done as well in industry. Because of the art, everyone is thinking that RWBY is going to continue where it left off but after everything that happened past volumes I digress. I want the series to be rebooted at least around v3 to v10
It would be nice if they got back to a more upbeat tone like it did near the beginning.
Rebooting the series would probably be a better move. The question would be if they manage to change the writing team to make a better story. Ice queendom was nice in that it was cohesive. A reboot with a new team and tighter management would rejuvenate the series. RWBY reminds me of Evangelion in that it would shine best after a reboot to clean it up.

Light at the end of the tunnel 😭 I have SO much hope for the final volume(s) of this series it's not even funny!!!!
Thinking back on Volume 9 and I kinda wished they had Weiss notice Ruby was falling mentally more and she tried to catch her. As a play on the moment in V6 where Ruby fell from the top Cordova's mech and Weiss then caught her and she asked Ruby "what if i hadn't caught you?" With Ruby saying "I knew you would."
I know Weiss noticed after Ruby's reaction to Penny, but in this idea. I think its after Yang gets her arm back where she & Blake are walking in front of Ruby & Weiss.
Weiss after commenting on the Bumblebee flirting sees Ruby downcasted and puts an arm around Ruby, pulling her closer. Weiss unsure if Ruby wants to talk, doesnt say anything, but this is her silently trying to tell Ruby "I've got you."
Later while Weiss, Ruby & Jaune are walking together through the plunderstorm. Weiss once again holds Ruby close, this time Weiss goes to say something before they're pulled out of the storm.
The night after Ruby gets crescent rose back she has a nightmare about the friends that have died. She wakes up, panicked looking for everyone.
Ruby sees Yang, Blake & Jaune, heart racing about Weiss, until she hears Weiss snoring next to her. This calms Ruby down and she falls asleep.
The next morning while Weiss, Blake & Yang are discussing Jaune after Weiss talks about helping Jaune she sees the frustration on Ruby's face and reaches out a hand silently apologizing for pitentially hurting Ruby.
After the Jaberwalkees attack the paper town and after Jaune throws Ruby her weapon, but she backs away from it. Yang asks Jaune why'd he did that, Weiss steps in front of Ruby holding her bestie's face giving Ruby a concerned look.
Then after the paper pleasers kill themselves its Yang who askes Ruby "What should they do?" In this alternate not Weiss.
Ruby & Jaune's mental breakdown go down like they do, but Weiss stays close a to Ruby, realizing what's going on and that Ruby needs to let it out.
When Jaune snaps at Ruby, Weiss places a hand on Ruby's back before Ruby takes off. The end of the season is the same.
I understand why V9 was written the way it was and Weiss or anyone noticing Ruby falling more maybe wouldnt have worked with the end there, but maybe anyone who reads this likes this Alternate i thought off.
The main idea for this alternate Ruby mental fall is remembering how close Ruby & Weiss have become and I think it really starts showing in volume 5 & 6.
But in V6 an addition Weiss made to her outfit at the start was a red scarft, during the battle on top of the train the protect each other happily saying "thank me later." Also when Ruby saves Weiss her semblance gains white flower petals which is adorable.
When Jin takes everyone into the flashback void Ruby & Weiss first call for one another. Weiss is the one who checks up on Ruby the most during V7 & V8.
You could make an agrument that Ruby is closer to Weiss at this point than Yang. If Volume 10 happens i hope Ruby has a 1 on 1 conversation with Weiss and they talk about what happened and Weiss apologizes saying "I failed to catch you."

Man its been a long time for rwby to get a new home but now we do got viz I hope this the right thing to do so I hope I can just viz for this move and good luck as well oh and guess what so I got my own rwby ocs team blue so Barry azul Li indigo ulm cobolt and electra aqua uh thier birthday's are so Barry azul so age is 15-19 so now on July 9th is his birthday and next is Li indigo so age is 17-21 I think is 18 years old and hers is on October 25th and ulm cobolt he is the same as Li indigo age 17-21 age is 18 I think and his is on December 25 and last is electra aqua and her birthday is on may 4th and her age is 18-22 so I think she is 19 years old I think but this is my idea of thier own birthday's so uh so 1 fact is uh Li indigo hers is on October 25th and ruby rose uh hers is on October 31th so this is it so yeah and peace out :)

To me, I really wanted Dillon Goo and his team to be the ones who got the rights to RWBY. Dillon was a former RWBY animator, so it would've been SO MUCH COOLER to have him get the rights to such a great show.
