@@brendanswolley438 I feel that, but to me, Time To Say Goodbye refers more to the characters being forced to grow up too fast because of circumstances than it is about loss and mourning.

I stubbled across RWBY during the pandemic and is now one of my favorite shows of all time; I can only imagine being a fan when was teased in 2012 or released in 2013.
It makes me smile thinking that Monty had a random dream that sparked everything. Or that Kerry and Miles were with him at an IHOP when the map of Remnant was made.
Yeah they really helped him put the story/vision together

Complaining about personal head canons not happening and using Monty’s name as a proverbial weapon against his friends is not criticism. Yet so many dedicate their channels hiding behind that label and some are eating it up.
Rwby is not a perfect show but I doubt it would even change much aside from fight scenes if Monty was still here. There’s just no pleasing everyone.

Yep agreed. A lot of things were nitpicking and have really nothing to do with the story or just, "I don't like the story." Honestly, the fact that someone is still complaining about Bumblebee is just part of the cringe "anti-woke" crowd, ignoring the fact that this was planned form the beginning, and just tells me, they aren't to be taken seriously as a person.
@@JapanYamatoman truth. There’s some criticisms to be made on Rwby but so much is filtered by nitpicks and whining about personal headcanons not coming to fruition. Something I’m starting to notice with other series like Hazbin Hotel. There’s just no pleasing people.
I hope so. TH-camrs are different than most careers that end. Roosterteeth might be gone but not the fans that still love them and any channel they make the fans will still be there rest of the way.

While I also don't want it to end, RWBY needs a massive rewrite starting just after Monty died. At least Volume 3 to the current day. Yeah Volume 9 was interesting, but was rather badly paced despite having pretty much an extra year to prepare it.

@@TheDarkOne1920 it really was. Volume 4 was literally the main story just being "well, we're walking". They scrapped Dark Sun to shoehorn in Bumblebee to represent the LGBT community, created the Maidens and "Oh magic exists", when Semblances were enough, absolutely botched the super villain reveal by having her do Basically nothing, sending her minions until the "good guys" invaded her giant Grimm Whale. Not even gonna mention Adam, plus so much more. They brought back Penny to just kill her off again a volume later, made Ironwood's Semblance just "he's always sure of his decisions" and shoehorned him in as a secondary antagonist by having him straight up Murder a guy. Yes Volume 4 and 5 were meant to be akin to Wizard of Oz, but dang did they botch that. Volume 3 was "stick to the plan till the Good Guys foul it up" what else do I need to say?
I think the most important part of RWBY is the community. We can keep the world alive by continuing to creat our own OCs and stories while they work on getting the show back on its feet.
Were not leaving til Monty finishes his series!!!! I was 12/13 when they first dropped the trailer and ideas, I’m now 27. This is the only thing that’s keeping me alive and I will petition for the death of me to get it finished

RWBY I believe has enough of a fan base still it was touched on briefly in the video but games, 9 volumes, books, spin-offs, plus AU Fandom. So I'm extremely hopeful.
Added note, I myself in a 'victim' to the alternate universe fandom and I love it. I have created my own team.

I've been working on my own RWBY fanwork too.
It's a bit hard to come up with good characters and Semblances though, but When has that ever stopped me from supporting my fandom
@@shelbybayer200 that's great. I was the same way with my team, I wanted them to feel like they could be right in RWBY proper but didn't want to copy too much either
While it does have those things we have to consider weather or not a lot of it was rven successful. Like I don't mean to be negative I really don't but considering how despite all of this, RT was still shut down it's entirely possible things like the games were just poor sellers or at the very least did not make the money that was needed to make their creation worth it.
I don't really care how long its take for another Volume of RWBY, I just want to see the story finished
I'm expecting it will end up in Japan, We know Kerry was there recently. The state of Animation in America doesn't really seem good enough for it to stay in the US (it's expensive and the people with the money don't understand non kid focused animation). If it goes to Japan the art style will certainly change but as long as the writers stay the same and the VA's stay I don't think people will mind as long as the story is finished.
Depends on if their animators get the same treatment as a traditional Japanese animation studio.

I've watched the series since 2013. I have all their DVDs on Blu-ray.
I'm praying... hoping that Volume 10 WILL be greenlit, and I'm hoping that Crunchyroll will help out again like they did with Volume 9 last year, cause I want to be honest, I want to see how the story ends, cause Volume 10 is the start of the Vacuo Arc, so there needs to be a volume 11 and 12, in order for the story to come to a conclusion, ya know?
K, RT as a company was a complete clusterf*k. RvB was a meh derivative content "borrowed" from Halo (now with little interest, as it's very OLD). RT churned out some successful 'lets play' content, then just anything. As much as they thought may stick, most were canceled as most was garbage.
RWBY an original concept, by the intensely creative Monty Oum, put RT on the map. RWBY by season 3 rejuvenated RT & drove the majority of RT's income. They would've failed early, had they not had a series of acquisitions. Largely due to the hire/fire of Digital Artists, poor management, & the sexual scandals RT solely brought upon themselves. Not to mention pulling RWBY off uTube & driving the fanbase to their self proclaimed "First" platform, a bad move.
Monty (RIP) wouldn't live to see RT destroy themselves & their employees. Unfortunately Monty's widow would, a talented Artist in her own right. Monty likely saved RT with his talent, which RT would later squander. Screw RT, I only am distraught over the way the Artists were treated & fired. I agree that the RWBY IP/IA is the only thing salvageable & valuable. If either Crunchyroll or WB-D gets their ducks in order, there is muli-millions to be made, if done properly, 10's of millions.
Myself, as a M&A (mergers & acquisitions) IP & IA (intangible assets) Senior Executive Appraiser, this is obvious. Sell the RWBY property, keeping the writers, VAs & Digital media format & the key Digital Artists. These companies can make Bank on RWBY specifically WITHOUT destroying it. This will take 2 to 3 years, but has incredible potential & an existing loyal cutomer/fanbase. It's ludicrous to pass on RWBY as an acquisition, it is the ONLY asset that can reset its own franchise, without restarting from scratch.
I'd pass on the all other "properties" which should just be sold off cheap, they have little potential in comparison & a high cost to revive with a miniscule vested fanbase.
If worst does come to worse, maybe it'll be concluded with a book. But I do hope for more of the series.
I need volume 10, no rewrites, no reboots, I need volume 10 that continues where the 9th volume and JL Crossovers ended

i feel like it's really understandable of how things go for rwby volume 10 and even despite of the pandemic starting to like make more deniable, harder for the work that rooster teeth had work on, not only for volume 10 but for the other 2 volumes from the 2 separate years too, and on top of that, they would still had to carry the legacy of the series, the work and the show's creator and legend monty oum himself. but we all gonna remain as rwby fans, we're gonna carry that legacy for all for rt, the show and everything else etc, no matter what happens, we'll all still share the support too
I want RWBY to continue with respectable storyline pace and conclude with a proper ending. The company who plans to buy the franchise better not turn it into a rushed cobbled-up trash fire like what most series had fallen victim to when it comes to their companies who only care about the money

It certainly seems like volume 10 would be tied up in some shape or form. Though I can see the new company moving on from focusing on team RWBY another team of huntsmen - we've cetainly seen some amazing OCs worth taking a look at. And the original writers that are coming back still seem to have their edge.

I’m not going to lie I’m more than a little scared at the thought of another company taking over making RWBY and part of me feels like it’s better to let it die on a high point than risk it getting taken over by another set of hands that might mess it up. But I do want RWBY to live and the positivity in this video has given me some hope that it will. We’ll just have to see.
It would be pretty awesome to see the RWBY franchise in the hands of an owner that could afford to try some different things with it. I’d like to see more comics, books, and games set in the RWBY universe even if they don’t involve team RWBY themselves. Honestly I love a table roleplaying game set it RWBY or a CRPG game set in RWBY. There are so many people creating their own OCs and stories in the world already, it would be awesome to see that tapped into.

On Roosterteeth there are about 4 episodes of a spin-off series called “RWBY:Beyond” there are a few loose ends that they are trying to tie up.

I stumbled upon the show one day and have been following it since the end of V3. Ain't in any way I'll drop the show. If push comes to shove, there's always fanmade content like your SRPH team (of which I'm eagerly waiting for the last member hehe).
I first found RWBY when an old friend showed it to me in 2018. I’ve been obsessed with the show ever since and I am set on seeing it through to the end.

I’m still hoping for RWBY Volume 10 to be final season and I will always love RWBY Volumes and I hope DVDs and Books of RWBY and I’m true fan RWBY.
I hope we get the full 12 volumes as we have a lot of unanswered questions like Beacons relic and vault where is it, did salem turn Summer Rose into a Hound or just killed her, and the biggest one will Ospin forgive Salem once its all over

Well remember they are going to have to revisit Beacon because the final relic is there. I think that would be the last volume

I never bought anything from the website minus one jacket and that was for Camp Camp, which i was sad they continued with a s5, was not a fan of the recasting and the diss it got with dvd sales, especially when they still never made a Blu ray for S3-4 and the special! Honestly Camp Camp should've ended with the S4 Special then continued with S5, thoug hit was more like a miniseries then a season

At this point RWBY deserves to have a ending, with the ending CRWBY is just trying to probably finish the show BY volume 10 or maybe have volume 10 be a BIG set up and have volume 11 be the ending volume
Rwby can’t end until (my thoughts and opinions) we find out more about ruby’s mom, more characters get more closure and backstories, Salem gets stopped and cinder, all of team rwby explores there powers more and gets a hang of it better, the maidens powers, and the reincarnation plot ends. That’s just my hope that it accomplishes before it ends
I'm hoping for a reboot. Remake Volumes 1-3 with actually good animation, and that should draw enough interest to go the rest of the way. It's really hard to get new people interested when to start they have to go back to the really blocky first couple seasons. It seems more likely than a volume 10 after the dreadful mess that was Volume 9. However, I have no actual knowledge of anything, so the whole thing could be dead.
I remember watching red vs. Blue when they started the second series. RWBY kept me watching rooster tooth when RVB went to crazy. Hope they find RWBY a good home

When Monty Owm died they said that there were notes found about how the series was going to go in his mind.
whatever they do i pray it doesnt fall into warner bros hands because even though rwby got more confusing throughout the volumes it still had value and effort put into it. I cant say the plot was perfect but it wasnt bad either. I really wanna see how it turns out

If volume 10 is the final volume for rwby I don’t think it would actually be the end for the world given there are so many unanswered questions. Example of two question I do have is. Why did weaving dust into clothes become lost to time? (I do have one theory why that is but I rather get actual reason in the show why that is) 2nd question I have is, does making your weapons out of dust actually give any major benefits? (That question is only because raven’s katana is essentially made of dust but it’s only raven that ever done that so it could just be she was a maiden but at the same time when she first appeared she probably wasn’t thought up as one yet)
Not sure if they managed to pass the series on but if not then the series may finally be resting peacefully since RT just closed down.

I may have a unique opinion of on Rwby:
If Rwby does end with volume ten, it will be disappointing to see it go and I’ll honour the run that it did have and the people I’ve met because of it.
All the theories presented by Phoenix have been a blast to listen to and mull over.
I'm glad RT died. It was honestly an arrogant, unfunny company that refused to feed their cash cow, RWBY, and tried to boost a bunch of content that no one wanted. Red vs blue died when Halo did, and the podcasters were cringe city-centric weirdos.
That said, RWBY deserves a better home, and I think it's a 50/50 shot it will get it.
I would love to see a spin off series of team STRQ
Well i might as well make a Sonic X RWBY Fangame which is sonic mania 2, but is also a fresh reboot & a alternate universe where the 4 members of RWBY are not the main charaters, but instead, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles & Espio, making the team name: STKE! They have no Sembalance, nor weapons, yet the chaos emeralds get upgraded to super emeralds & they can defeat grimm without weapons anyway.

Why doesn't Crunchyroll buy up Rooster Teeth? They seem interested in buying up everything else. They've already neutered Funimation and Right Stuf, by renaming them Crunchyroll.
Pretty sure they would only want RWBY, possibly gen:lock too, since that is the only show that fits their branding.

This is sad the rooster teeth that will disappear from all of us. This company had changed all of us.
For me, rt had been with me for 2 years now. And despite everything that happened, I still thank the company that made RWBY, red vs blue and camp camp. RWBY changed my life forever. And in my opinion, I want RWBY to continue for at least a few more volumes to continue the show and with a different company helping this show thrive. But if vol 10 would be the last vol, I would be sad but understand. Over all, I hope vol 10 will come soon. I will always have hope for the fantastic show.

If Volume Ten happens and it turn out to be the last/final volume, I hope they make it a longer volume than any of the others(double length at least). Otherwise the Vacuo Arc could be 1 maybe 2 volumes, Volume Ten they’d go up against Tyrian, Mercury and whatever criminals they recruited. Sabotaging the Kingdom’s defences as best they can. Volume 11 they’d face another Hoard of Grimm, Grimm-Hybrids like the Hound, and Cinder who’d go after the Summer Maiden and the Vacuo. Relic Volume 12 would have them return to Beacon for the final battle against Salem.
Lots of wishful thinking. I'd like to be that optimistic.
Not that I don't have any hope, I hope that someone (maybe Dillon Goo, but I'm not sure they can handle the workload) will continue it, keep the dream going on. With its value, with its qualities, with its quirks, with its music.
Edit: And let's not forget the other great things RT did too. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Red VS Blue, Death Battle and the first season of Gen;Lock.
If we do get 10, i highly doubt it's gonna be the last volume.
Even if it was a 24-episode long season with 20+ minutes each, it wouldn't be anywhere nearly enough to resolve all of the plot points of the show
& I don't get why so many people think that V10 would be the last volume considering that very fact... It's like they WANT us to get another Game of Thrones fiasco
