    Great Review - Just a remark: I have the manual - Specifically chose the manual - Mazda's manual transmission is second to none! A pleasure shifting those gears!

    I bought the GT model 2 months ago, and I am very pleased. They lowered the GT price to under $30,000 in US. One huge feature on the GT model only is the Windshield-projected full-color Active Driving Display. In addition to the speed of course it shows cruise control speed setting. Even bigger benefit are the blind spot monitoring indicators, to the point where I don’t even check my rear view mirrors before I decide to change lanes. Just turn on signal and go.

      Thats something you dont get unless you get german or higher up luxury. Lexus dont even have heads up display on their UX and NX models. So mazda pulling all the strings.

    I would have preferred the Mazda logo to be smaller, not larger, why would you want it bigger ? The door handles not in being in line, is that really a thing ?

    really well done review. I do wish they resigned the body to look more like the 3 hatchback than the CX-5 though. It would stand out a lot more on the street with a look more akin to that. From the side, it just looks like a slightly smaller CX-5 with more cladding :/

    Nice review. I plan on shopping for a CX-30 this week. I would have liked the heated steering wheel for the U.S. Market.

    Do not like the thick cladding, engine may not be as strong as I would like, interesting about the door handles not aligning with each other, like you describing what you do not like about the car, too many reviews ONLY mention all things positive ONLY, unaware of the heated steering wheel not for the entire wheel...nice review

    Too bad the turbo only comes with their top trim? (in the States anyway?)

    • @Modern.Motoring
      @Modern.Motoring  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Peter,
      In Canada, we get three trims; GX GS GT.
      GX runs a 2.0 while the others run a 2.5, none of which are turbo engines.
      A quick look at the Mazda USA site shows that unlike Canada, there's no 2.0 engine offering - it's only the 2.5.

  • @hot-hatchsean-53

    Nice review bro but what still pisses me off about mazda cx30 and mazda 3 is its lack of footwell lighting, & reading lights in back seats. It's not turbo charged. Like the Nissan nismo rs for instance &the size of the lights seems tiny than the overall size of the body of the car just so weird.

    Any top speed and 0-100 data on the GX variant?

    • @Modern.Motoring
      @Modern.Motoring  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly, I don't have info on that - I imagine it'll be oh-so-slightly quicker than the top-trim as it's lighter.

    CX 3 looks great. I did not see this one yet on the street. Toyotas are the best I think, but they are uglier looking in every year(becoming visually more ugly). I remember all Nissan and Infiniti were all curvy and weird and almost went bankrupt in the past and later they came out with nicer looking cars and SUV and I see many of them are on the street now.

    Don't be over 5'10" or you will bump your head getting in and out of the front seat. I tried one at my dealership. I am 6' 0" and almost knocked my head off trying to get in the driver's seat. I was far more cautious getting out but still bumped my head in the top frame. It must have been built for the Japanese population and they forgot to change the dimensions for the U.S market.

    Ugly interior colors, too much black cladding and cheap looking rims but everything else is pretty good
