    Over 100 batteries in and mine is still going strong. Biggest thing is to not leave it plugged into your computer for any length of time or you are going to cook that vtx. NBD learned this.
    I’m hoping this one isn’t a fluke and have another on the way to see if it holds up.
    Is it the perfect Whoop racer? No, lack of CP antenna or easily changeable vtx antenna and no LEDS keep it from that crown, but right now it’s the best 65mm BNF for brushless Angle racing, especially coupled with Emuflight and 48khz full throttle resolution

    I always appreciate your reviews, even when they seem really biased, like this one. I have found QC issues with a lot of manufacturers, including GepRC ( really poor customer service, they wanted me to pay for replacing the defective quad they sent me), BetaFPV ( 2 dud quads , first 5 flights on both ), and I won't even talk Eachine. So far, my 2 Mobula7's are working better than any other quads I've owned. This hobby does not have near enough volume demand for manufacturers to care too much about quality control.

    • @Kabab

    • @jpslayermayor9293
      @jpslayermayor9293 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? Volume should dictate whether what a customer orders they actually receive? I work with and travel to China regularly and this is more of a cultural phenomenon with China built stuff. They tend to prioritize profit over all else however this isnt the case globally, for example Japanese electronics or even Swiss watches that are made in small batches have the highest quality because its culturally part of how they think, i.e. making profit is "worthless" if their name is associated with poor quality product. Go across the border from China to South Korea and we can see a much better quality/profit cultural fit (for the consumer).

    • @VincentFischer
      @VincentFischer 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RockTouching You sure about that? Let's say for example you have twenty batteries for your kwad, that would mean the connector on the craft has 20times more mating cycles to withstand.

    • @RockTouching
      @RockTouching 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VincentFischer in my experience yes. I first noticed when I paralled charged new batteries with old (20-30 cycles old) batteries, the old batteries wouldn't get charged. Their internal resistence was 200+. When I replaced the female connector It dropped to 100 ohm and was able to charge them with the new batteries. In my opinion the female connector has to withstand more stress, and can get enlarged pretty quickly (insert joke here), thus making less and less contact. Also the batteries have to get charged, so that's 2x mating cycles right there.

      You generally never went to go below 3.3v. For 1S, you can go as low as 3.0v or even 2.9v because the amps typically aren't that high but you'll want to land before that because the overall craft performance will be terrible. In a way, 1S is somewhat self limiting. Don't charge last 4.22v. Forget liHV. It's not worth it. There's zero benefits, only downsides. I find it very commendable that you deliver such an honest review despite your experience with HappyModel !!!
    I ordered the 19000kv version two weeks ago.
    My Tiny.S didn't even work properly in 4 months, contact with emax ended after just one email.
    After weeks of measuring and trying out, I'm a little disappointed with Emax.
    Ok no problem, you can swap parts!
    The stupid thing, there are no compatible parts that fit in the T.S (except from Emax), even the motor connectors are a number smaller than normal !!!
    So I constructed a MobHawk S:
    Mobula V2 frame / T.S motors / HBS F4 AIO / Eachine TX06 / Oversky XR602T-A receiver / Gemfan 1636-4 => 26.0g
    With JESC 48khz and 450ma 1S I can easily fly 5min, no matter how much I beat the part through the house "NickBurns" style;)
    So much more power and flight stability / control, I'm just extremely pleasantly surprised :)

For every one of those, there are five people that either say they'll never buy a happymodel anything again or sharing their failures either out of the box or within a few flights. From my own experience with the Toothpick line, the happymodel boards were burning out within 5 flights and people were buying them buy the dozen to get one that worked....This company lives to just steal money from the industry and they do it by making their prices more attractive than anyone else.
