    Hey John, from Chicago. ;) I just wanted to leave a THANK YOU for the effort and time you put into your videos. I just came across your video because I bought a mobula6 myself and I loved watching your video. In general I see that the FPV community is very kind and helping eachother but still your videos have another twist. I love how you approach the topic and your calm nature. I hope you will make many more videos and am looking forward for whats up to come. All the best from germany to Chicago and stay safe these weird days. You've got my subscription.

    I use my 19k inside and 25k outside, and would choose so accordingly. More flight time beats extra thrust if you’re whooping the house, as I get an extra minute of flight. If you’re a racer, or plan to do outdoor acro more than flying inside, go 25k. For me it’s 19k all day.

    Great stuff John. Not sure if you have heard about the JESC 48khz that can increase flight time by some 30%. I have yet to see any factual test or conclusive evidence like you have brought fourth. It would be awesome is you could test this new ESC firmware and either confirm or dispell the claim. I personally have been using the JESC 2.3 for Whoop on my Mobula 6 and I can tell a noticeable improvement but dont have that same kind of discipline you have in all of your testing videos. Anyway with the Mobula 6 being so popular right now thought it would make for some great content.

    Excellent video - I'm curious how much reflashing the ESCs to 48kHz would help with flight time, especially if you're willing to run biblades (trim the 1219 props). I suspect the peak thrust may not be quite as high, but it seems to keep up extraordinarily well.

    • @jmoore3854
      @jmoore3854  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Louis they are both great whoops and you can't go wrong with either. I did a video on the UZ65 and the link is at th-cam.com/video/zlFGKnZ7KYI/w-d-xo.html I really like the idea of trimming in the flight control board so the prop size can be increased from 31 to 35 mm and still keep the overall size of the whoop the same at 65mm. The UZ65 flies a little better and most of the reviews say they like the way it handles better than the M6. I have not seen many people switch over to it. The two problems that I have with it is it is 2 grams heavier than the M6 and the motor wires are direct soldered which would make them more difficult to replace. A third tiny whoop to look at is the Eachine AE65. I am doing a review on that now and hope to have a review of the best 12 tiny whoops out in a month. The AE65 has all the latest updates with the only problem it has a new battery connector which most people find it harder to use.

      Not right I was comparing the Mobula 6 19KV to the Mobula 6 25KV both were 1S.The 19KV model was 0.6 seconds faster per lap because I was flying it at 100% throttle and the 25KV model was only be raced at 50% throttle. Normally the 25KV model would be about a second faster per lap 12 seconds vs 13 seconds.

    • @scottgivens27
      @scottgivens27 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Moore copy that...I was comparing the flight time of all your stats. You have the Mobula 7 on 2s you have at 12seconds. You must have been flying half throttle in that flight as well. Great to know that you can have that much control on full throttle with the 19k as well. Can't go wrong with either! Thanks for the comparison.
