I love that this episode showed that even in healthy relationships couples still picker and fight but strong healthy relationships will flourish through the dark days. I wish precious episodes would have showed off and built up to how Millie has an insecurity of being enough.
I love this show. I just excited to learn more about Blitzo's past and I want learn more about other characters.

The fact that humans in this series can see past Moxxie's femboy disguise but can’t see past Millie's tomboy disguise is one of the funniest parts of the episode.

Did you notice when Barbie went off on Blitz she wasn't pointing at his chest, but the necklace around his neck. Something tells me that this has something to do with their mother's death and that necklace has much more meaning behind it to what caused Barbie to disown Blitz hopeful in the future

I like how Moxxie and Millie actually had conflict with one another for this ep instead of being portrayed as the "perfect couple" It made it more interesting to me. Also loved seeing more personality from Millie's character.
The conflict was stupid though. Very poorly written.

@hellothere1853 Millie and Moxxie disagreeing on the method to take out the target wasn't a bad start. It did lead to the really stupid voices and stuff, but it's fine.
From there, I would have had Moxxie try to do his little detective sleuthing thing. After consistently failing for a while, I think Millie should have just gone ahead and killed the person who was obviously their target without telling Moxxie. She doesn't want to get in the way of his fun, but she also doesn't want to waste time and spend more time in the human world than necessary.
This could lead to a conflict between them where Moxxie blows up at her for going behind his back, and not allowing him to actually take the lead and supporting him in the mission. Millie fires back that, in fact, all she's EVER done is support him with what he wants to do. She even starts to break down a little as she goes through previous parts in the show, where she constantly has to put herself on the line to save his ass. And it isn't that she's bitter or unhappy to do it, but it just takes a toll over time and she wishes things were more equal.
Moxxie responds that he just wants to feel important, and like he's actually capable of doing something. He's tired of being a fuck up.
And Millie fires back with something along the lines of "Well...I'm tired of just being your caretaker." And she walks off crying, leaving Moxxie there to think about his actions; and giving him the opportunity to do some kind of grand gesture to win her back. Or maybe that's left for another episode, and the focus of the episode shifts to Blitzø and his sister. Leave some drama and tension between M&M.

The thing about Blitz's story going south is like he's a self-fulfilling prophecy, he fears abandonment but also keeps pushing people away. He should be treating those he cares about as if he actually cares about them, like he does with Loona, but for some reason he can't bring himself to do that with anyone but her.
@gamerbear84 This is our first time seeing it with someone other than Loona, but tbf he's also not respecting her boundaries(especially since it's depicted as if he's messed things up for her when she's tried to get better before).
I feel like he can do it with Loona because of how she usually pushes him away, y'know?

Well, I feel so sorry for Moxxie. This was the most embarassing episode for him so far. But on the plus side, his relationship with his wife remained wholesome by the end of the episode. As for Millie, I am glad that her having more screen time compared to other episodes is really nice to see.
Wasn't a fan of this episode because of it going about promoting one character while putting down another. I like both characters and looked forward to the Millie centric episode the devs were mentioning, but not a fan of this trope of the "My friend/partner/etc gets jealous over my success and then we makeup at the end" story bit. I get it was also somewhat of a parallel to the fanbase cheering and asking for her getting her time to shine both out of show and in show, but didn't like this style of going about it. Also it ended up shortening Blitzo and his sister story.

i didnt like this episode for 2 reasons
1) the characterization they bestowed upon moxxie was so forced and unnecessary
2) they probably thought what they did with millie here is a character arc

But I personally think (even tho I’m not like 100% a fun of this either) Moxxie acting this way was sorta hinted at for a while. Especially considering how much she cares for him and how insecure he is. So his insecurities taking over made sense to me personally but I will say we need more for Millie
I overall loved this episode, showing Blitzø's relationship with Barbie, Millie having an episode focused on her, and showing that the M&M's can argue and come out of it just as close if not closer. Animation and plot are amazing and the songs slap, great episode.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of Blitzo's past. Now we are introduced to he's sister Barbie make me excited to learn more. Plus nice to see Millie get some development in this episode and even when Millie and Moxie are arguing they some how come out closer. But sadly not for Blitzo and Barbie.
The "dimensional buttplug" is an asmodean chrystal (on a buttplug xD) which can be seen in Stolas' book at the end the 1st episode of the 2nd season. Asmodean crystals are commonly given to succubi and incubi so they can access earth to do their job (Hence the buttplug lol)
Based on what we already know, it seems Stolas is considering getting one for Blitz so they no longer have to meet up for the grimoire.
Probably the crystal also gives them a human disguise too.

26:15 What people believe is the reason for the lack of marketing for Hazbin Hotel is because of how A24 (the production company for Hazbin Hotel) handles marketing. Historically, they usually put out a trailer for their shows/movies a couple weeks to a month before they release, and they rely on word of mouth to spread them around, which obviously has worked well for them since they still follow that strategy. Instead of pouring money into a lot of marketing, they put that into the production itself. Due to Hazbin Hotel's unique situation, though, many are unsure of whether their marketing strategy will work as well for Hazbin Hotel.

1:40 Been awhile since we’ve had an IMP episode focused on killing a target, so as a refresher:
Sinners who die and end up in hell usually bear some sorta scar in reference to how they died. This sinner’s more aquatic appearance is to allude to them drowning, ergo the water in their abdomen that resembles a lava lamp, and the webbing between the fingers reminiscent of aquatic wildlife.
I would be curious why did he end up in hell though.

I have seen some theories that Blitz was being extra mean toward Moxxie because his sister turned her back on him. Cause usually when Blitz is being a dick to Moxxie he's smiling cause hes just teasing. Moxxie usually handles it better then the sad face at the end. So maybe he was being more rude then usual because hes covering up the pain of his sister.

The "buttplug" used to open the rift was an Asmodean Crystal. In the first episode of this season Stolas had a book regarding these crystals during his musical number

I liked someones theory on Twitter, that in this episode, Millie and Moxxie crossdressing as brother and sistet are a simulation of a former relationship between Blitso and Barbie, but obviously without similar equal care and understanding for each other, and support.
Which lead to something disastrous happening, because of Blitzo.
Some specualted that Blitzo's desire for attention and recognition, led to the family circus burning down, Fizz loosing his arms and legs, and Blitzo'n'Barbie's mother (supposedly) died, because of his f'up.
Millie character development was amazingly beautiful ! She got the biggest screen time in this episode ❤
Well, she was Moxxie's shadow for almost 2 seasons, so it was about time...

I love that I get to see ur discussion at the end. It's so interesting to listen to ur points and theories. But I don't think it's as simple as "Blitzo hurt everyone in his life" or "everyone in Blitzo's life hurt him". I mean, it's clear from his interactions with various characters in the show that he was hurt a lot by terrible people (like his father in his childhood), but also hurt other people himself (like it's implied with his sister). And then there r people like Verosika and Fizzarolli, who were clearly hurt by Blitzo, but r toxic themselves. All that contributes to the fact that Blitzo doesn't love himself and doesn't know how to love others. And that makes it hard for him to connect with people. But I don't think he's as much of a lost cause as it may seem. I mean, he clearly cares abt Loona and he's a great dad, though he does have his flaws, and we saw in s1ep8 that Loona cares for him too. And his relationship with Stolas is getting better, I mean in s2ep4 he was unable to write smth deep, but he tried and at least wrote 1st. And I don't think Moxxie and Millie r gonna leave him as well, since he clearly appreciates them and tries to show it from time to time.

22:30 Also, Verosika eluded to his sister being in rehab on the parking spot episode. I love how things like that are foreshadowed in previous episodes and come back later. Same with Moxies family being the mafia. That was foreshadowed in the episode with Millie’s family.
Did you notice that there dead forms seem to be kinda tied to how they were killed or died ? Like that drowned lady was on of the shark underworlders in this episode well the 2 old / young age mechanic people were like robotic imps or something.. and the wvery 1st clint was a "love" type of case client resulting in an imp ?
Talking about happy versus unhappy endings, I think another model might be Rob Zombie's 'The Devil's Rejects'; bad people coming together as a family, but they still all die in a final gunfight, which they totally deserve. A having your cake and eating it too ending; Blitz isn't afraid of dying, he's afraid of dying ALONE.
1:18 Interesting bit of lore/world building i guess, The goat demons we see often all have candles on their head. These goat demons are known as Baphomets, and for some reason, they ALL have candles.
We also know that apparently, Hellborn demons can produce hybrids together, with Striker being a hybrid of imp and something else (probably one of those shark demons?), the nurse in this episode appears to be a Baphomet hybrid with either an imp or succubi?
It seems interesting to say that Blitz is having a tough life throughout this season as he had some good moments but they come so hard to hit to his heart that it’s breaking. As he nearly lost Stolas and than witness his sister not wanting him. It seems to hit the most that his family doesn’t care about him. The only one who does is being his mother and we never got news or information on what happen to with her and story on Blitz’s necklace that he gain from his mother. So I hope the future episodes might enlighten some more story on Blitz’s life.
Also as for M&M they seem to be getting mix vibes and full on wonders throughout each episode. It seems like good to see Millie get more time on screen as she does deserve more attention than Moxxie or Blitz as she is a skilled imp. And she clearly need more time and possibly with Loona as both ladies need a special episode for them to shine more. The last time we got a bit of Loona and Millie action is when they was in “Truth Seekers” when killing D.H.O.R.K.S and they need more time than.
So I believe next episode is going to be interesting if it’s going to focus on Ozzie, Fizz and Verosika as showing the villains pov or possibly the Cherubs since we never seen them around that much during this 2 1/2 of the season.
I have a feeling Blitz's mom is dead, and probably Blitz is to blame for it, and probably Fizz's robot limbs too, and maybe contributed to/caused Barb's getting to rehab and Blitz's scars. People, who hate Blitz call him Blitzo. Verosika, Fizz, and now Barbie (the imp in the season 1 finale maybe didn't know the name change, he didn't seem to hate him)

As there is a feeling I feel that Blitz done something wrong during a Circus act to destroy his reputation with his family. We just got to wait and see what happens. Also it seems crazy to say that Blitz also hate himself during the time of the final episode of season 1 as he state himself as a impish plaything and doesn’t want to be a imp anymore.

The reason we haven't seen anything about Hazbin Hotel is because of the strikes in Hollywood. Viv announced that they have caused the show to be delayed and now it won't be released this summer.
My favorite part of the episode has to be moxxie showing off his talent of being immune to fire by jumping into the campfire as everyone stares in horror as what they think is a preteen girl just lit herself on fire
16:35 - Can't tell if Blitz is stopping Moxxie from doing the job or protecting him from Barb here, but it would be on part with Blitz's character development to be protecting Moxxie.
I tend to lean in the latter category but more than anything I think to Blitz it’s about making up for the fact that he royally f^€ked up with Stolas so in his mind trying to reconnect with Barbie is his first step towards trying to be a better person but in that same vain you could say it’s his way of masking his guilt or at least that’s my read on it

One of the things i like to do it is to rewatch the whole show again whenever there is a new episode. Its still at a bingable state for like one afternoon and with each new episode the story kinda comes together more and even some of the stuff from the beginning becomes clearer. This wasnt my most favourite of episodes but im really keen to keep up and see where it all goes. I feel like they are getting better with each episode

You guys have no idea how happy you make me when I watch your videos. I have been a subscriber for a long time(but not too long) and you guys have never disappointed in any way to me. I know that the short clip you guys do in the middle may be for fun or a joke but I listened and smiled all the way through tears. Your channel will always be number 1. This series has gotten better. Yet I would like to see a lore of millie and chaz how they met story. Or how Moxxies mom might have escaped. Or if they really did kill off chaz when in that end credit says but yet he doesn't really die so let that sink in. could millie and mox and blitz find barbie and reunite with stolas and daughter and have a battle with thier worst enemies??? I can see that in a final season. I'm just throwing theories here.
