I like how at the end, Verosika realizes that Blitzø absolutely belongs at the “I Hate Blitzø” party. Also, that twist with Martha and Mrs. Mayberry is wildly unexpected and I love it.

Stolas absolutely slayed that song. Verosika looking fine as hell. Blitz finally getting some perspective. Martha and Mrs Mayberry is not a ship I was expecting but it's very amusing

Blitzø finally sees what his self destructive tendencies and behavior has done and realizes people DID love him but he shut them out before it got serious. Verosika definitely cares about Blitzø and hopes he can change. I feel our boy needs some SERIOUS therapy.
I know the reason for the two separating was said already but with Vee's shoulder tattoo of Blitzø's name in the heart exed out in focus the entire conversation she has with Blitzø, her choking up on the L word when talking with him, and even the bit of a lore pull from some fantasy sources that a succubus dies when/if one develops genuine love for another, it puts a lot more of Vee's character into perspective. It's honestly really said, hearing how vulnerable she was/is with him, potentially even moreso because of her being a succubus...fittingly, a similar situation to Stolas, albeit moreso on how this affects Stolas's life because of his arranged marriage and noble standing.
I'm shocked y'all didn't realize who the first person Blitz apologized too was. That's Martha from episode 1, the crazy cannibal lady. And the woman she's with is the teacher who hated her guts for taking her husband lol

Few things worth noting:
-Much like with Fizzarolli, there's a sense of growth the moment Verosika starts calling him BLITZ instead of BLITZO, kind of showing she's actually willing to forgive and respect him enough to not dead-naming him.
-AT NO POINT are Stolas and Blitz actually rejecting each other, they're pushing each other way, and Blitz is incredibly destructive AND self-destructive since he clearly care but doesn't know how to love himself, let alone others. And Stolas is hurt for not getting the reaction he wanted, which is something he's been struggling since he was a child, not being allowed to be or have what he wants, it's always someone else who moves him and pushes him around.
Lmao who gives a shit if she's dead naming him. If he really can't handle someone calling him blitzo that's his own problem. But yes it does show improvement on verosikas part

A nice little detail that people may not have fully payed attention to: Stolas never blocked Blitz's number and kept him added to his phone numbers list. He has all the reasons to do it, and yet, he kept him. Both never did.
Don't forget we now know if he wanted Stolas could likely snap his fingers and put Blitz outside on the front yard, or even as far as his house I'd wager all things considered, yet he never kicked him out when he came back to talk
Someone pointed out that during Blitz and Verosika talking, Blitz doesnt put his legs through the bars or breaks one, because hes still trapped by his pain and its of his own doing. But verosika breaks a rail herself, like how she broke out of her own pain, to be more free. She still has bars around her, but shes made her own space to be her wothout limitations. Its just like her song at the end, "im not over it. But im over you"

You have to remember that Blitz didn't just dump Ver after she said "I love you." He stole her car, left her with the bill, and maxed out her credit cards on horse riding lessons. Like one of those things would fuck me up but all of them? Like hot damn.
I…I feel like there’s a very small minority of people, myself included, who…relate to Blitzø, truly honestly relate.
We’re the shitty ones, who just…run. Always run, and then we panic and do things say things we regret. Anger and pettiness is what we show. Inside all we ever feel is guilt and shame and self hatred.
Verosika was right…sometimes it simply starts by saying “Good for him, hope he gets laid. Hope they have fun.” Repeat that 40+ times and you’re good to go…or not. I hope Blitzø doesn’t get self destructive…
I'm an endlessly self-absorbed @sshole with no self-respect, just like Blitzo. And somebody actually managed to fall for me. And I only hope Blitzo feels HALF as conflicted as I do about it.
I do relate to Blitzø on a serious note, especially when I look back on how I've acted in the past, and still how I act in the present, I've grown a lot to where I've been able to truly feel love for myself and others so I'm currently in a nearly 7 month relationship with a woman who I have genuinely been able to open up to and communicate with. I still have problems sometimes of course, but me and my partner both know what we can do to help it.

Blitz letting Stolas go Honestly was the right choice Blitz loves Stolas still but he still wants him to Be Happy so he had to let him go and put in the work to spend more time with Stolas it’s change

And if it’s true they come back ❤ I think they’re more than likely end game and I like that blitz will have to earn that back.
That moment Stolas was shocked about the assasination attempted was actually surprising. At LuLu Land it seemed he knew ppl were after him and especially at the Harvest Moon Festival. The fact he DIDNT know about it at the festival speaks a lot of volume
He said he always felt safe at the harvest moon festival, so presumably there were never any attempts on him there. It's possible it was only like that at LooLoo Land because it's in the Greed Ring, where kidnappings are the norm, like Ozzie says, one of the cities is literally called Ransom.

It was a shocking factor because Blitzø didn't inform him/warn him, the encounter happened in secret and it's different to have your guard down while taking for granted that nobody has access to royal-slaying weapons. Aren't his powers meant to be activated instead of "on" all the time? there are spells he can't use without the book, and even with it in hand he needs to cast them first.
Also, Blitzø knew someone wanted Stolas dead and brushed it off. At the second attempt, knowing his kidnapper was the same person with that special gun, he didn't assist, isn't that fucked up? You don't show love that way, that's what Stolas thought.
Maybe it's an inconsistency from the show, but why did Blitzø not know royals can get hurt/killed while Striker confirmed it and even Moxxie knew?
@@Aquapanther154 He seemed pretty oblivious, her call was brazen because I think he's taken to ignoring or tuning her out with all the abuse she hurled at him over the years, so he never even heard her. In LooLoo Land he says "people want our money and our bodies" implying nobody really wants to assassinate them, they want... other things. Stolas even seems surprised that he's actually in danger when Striker kidnaps him because presumably no one's tried to _kill_ him before.

I can excuse the whole Striker calling Stella in front of him because that was obviously a comedic moment too, But i really feel like Blitz thinking that Stolas wouldn't be able to get hurt makes sense, When even Stolas didn't realize it at first.

Love seeing Verosika return. This honestly might be my favourite episode of Season 2 and gives us some of the best character growth for both Blitz and Stolas. Despite how depressing and sad Blitz and Stolas's relationship has become and now that the two and no longer together, I truly love how deep and emotionally complex this episode got with Blitz confronting his mistakes and how many people, especially Stolas and Verosika, hes pissed off and seeing Blitz hate how much he's hurt the only person who cared about him and hurt others all because of his own self hate is truly heartbreaking yet Blitz does deserve it and having to accept it all is a good step in the right direction for Blitz to become a better person and letting Stolas have time to himself, despite how much we want to see them together this is probably for the better. I really appreciate how Blitz and Verosika in a way made some level of peace and I like how Verosika host's these events to help other people f***ed over by Blitz as shes not as vaine as one may think and cares about others.
Btw Bryce Pinkman absolutely killed it with the song in this episode!
stolas didn't handle that first conversation well. he took blitz's confused first response as gospel and didn't want to change his opinion following that.
but blitz has a much deeper problem. instead of introspecting when conflict happens, he lashes out. which means he pushes people away, hurts them, hurts himself and has to keep running from the consequences of his own actions.
it would almost be better if blitz didn't care. these people could move on if they learned he just never loved them. the problem is, blitz probably did love them, scared himself with that and had to rip out both their hearts to keep the status quo.

Verosika was chill with Blitz because she realized that he belonged at an "I hate Blitzo" party more than anyone else.

Good to see Blitz finally starting to see the error of his ways but he still needs so much help.
The fact that Tex and Verosika were gaslighting Stolas that it’s _all_ on Blitz when he’s realizing it’s his fault as well, even though there’s guilt on both side is just so toxic and infuriating. I hope they don’t turn the narrative to seemingly wipe Stolas’ hands of his fault in the situation. They _both_ need to apologize to each other.

Yeap, from what we've seen so far the show is almost pushing everything onto Blitz, Stolas said he loved him and did many things to show that but we've never seen much of it, saying he don't see him as lesser but still treat other imps as lesser whether realising it or not
Just hope we get a episode where Stolas gets a reality check as well, we've only seen Octavia confronting him in the trailer
@@lordzedd343 I feel like it’s more naivety than being a hypocrite. This is something he’s just now trying to realize, while also getting absolutely plastered. He’s lived his entire life in a bubble, not really knowing how his words (looking specifically at you, Harvest Moon Festival) can create negative views the average citizen’s would have of higher demons.
What would be disappointing/hypocritical is if the writing didn’t let him absorb the fact that the complicated situation is on both of them, and only had Blitz apologize
@@icemagiciangh I'm fairly certain the writers are doing this on purpose. Like, IIRC, Viv confirmed on Twitter recently(?) that Stolas is, in fact, naive and generally kind of off in his own world. That'd explain why his actions don't line up with his words. On top of that, we're seeing the story mostly from Blitz's angle, which while it's still warped, it's not as far off as what the story from Stolas's perspective would be.
I'm speaking from experience, too. There was a point in my life where I was similar to him, and my view of what was going on between myself and another was *seriously* warped. Finally seeing reality was, to me, earth-shattering. Now, I look back on fond memories with that person and I can see details in those, how much we were taking advantage of each other, and understand that them pushing me away was the right call, for the both of us. It's worth noting it took years for me to reach that point though, and it was a literal hell of 'What ifs' and 'whys' - as Stolas himself expresses in the song.
My prediction is that Stolas will eventually reach that point where his naivety and fantasies fall apart entirely. He's definitely still stuck in them, as indicated by the rom-com joke while he and Blitz are talking and how he speaks in general. Once that happens though, he's going to have to live in a whole new hell for a while, because it'll put his entire relationship with Blitz into perspective, and that is a painful experience.
Personally, I don't think it'll happen quick. Or as quick as people kind of seem to be wanting it to happen? idk, maybe it's just me, but I feel like this being a slow burn will make it matter far more when they do reach their 'conclusion'.
To the comment, I don't think they're "gaslighting" him, it's more of a biased perspective since Verosika has been hurt by Blitzø (who only apologized during the apology tour), having her figurative heart shattered because she decided to be vulnerable and Blitzø and Tex barely knows Blitzø, as well as the fact they don't know anything about Stolas and Blitzø's relationship enough to truly understand the nuance of issues between their dynamic, and the fact that Stolas is Blitzø's newest ex (which shows that despite everything, Blitzø is still racking up relationships and breaking more hearts) so they're probably also just letting Stolas vent out his frustration (since it's clear Stolas isn't _hating_ Blitzø, more than he is struggling with his own inner turmoil) and they're giving him an outlet to say his piece along with the other exes who clearly are also supportive of one another.
As the saying goes, “Pain is the price we pay for growth.”
This may very well be what Blitz to grow as a person. It seems he never noticed how much he hurt those people or he deliberately chose to ignore it.
As for the beginning, Blitz really dropped the ball. He keeps getting the issues served to him on a silver platter, an opportunity to turn things around. But it’s like he said. He just sabotages himself constantly.
On one last note, there’s that one line that definitely struck me: “I don’t think you meant to hurt me cause I don’t think it meant a thing at all.”
I bet it really cut him deeper than he’s ever willing to admit.

shit, you are right, i could have sworn there was another one in between. Given what we see in the trailer the october episode is probably imp out on a job too, so I don't know if we'll get any progress with stolas and blitz till november.
On the plus side, then we have oct/nov/dec, with season 2 of hazbin likely around february again, so this is the last big drought for a while.

Stolas never consciously leans into class prejudice but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t ingrained in him his whole life. You can see it in the way he barley acknowledge all his imp servants. And he’s absolutely referred to/called Blitzø a pet or a plaything in the past
That's actually part of the reason he slowly started dropping all of it since Ozzie's, and why he openly says the transactional thing they had was plaing wrong, credit where is due, he became very conscious of it, and you can even see it reflected at the party where he ends up interacting with everyone openly and just fine, even opening up to Verosika about his past party.
@@Roler42 he’s definitely trying to be better which is more important than anything but when he says “when have I ever-“ during their argument at the beginning of the episode it shows an unwillingness to unpack his own baggage in hopes they can just move on without any lasting issue

All the pet naming all the "little ones, impish little plaything", one could make a list, but Stolas doesn't see it because in his mind he didn't think those were demeaning.
It's gonna be interesting to see where they go from here, for both of them, cuz Stolas is not out of the woods, and is far from an innocent party in this, he's got to deal with the fallout from the Goetia for having done this and still coming out empty handed.

i so wanted this end another way but yeah, these 2 are the cornerstones of this series. they're the reason it's been so popular. i think in season 3 they will be the awesome power couple we'll need. but, yeah, it's not an easy fix to over come trauma and doubt and prejudice. blitz is growing now and we'll be ok , xo I promise
I absolutely think they are end game but I think it’s a good thing stolas will get some space to have EXPERIENCE with a normal relationship even just casual ones. Feel some real respect so he knows what it feels like. And blitz can earn that place back through growing as a person.
I wonder if we will have a blitz and Octavia and episode at some point? I feel like they could give each other some real perspective. And I wonder if blitz has ever REALLY witnessed how Stella is? He is protective of him more than I think he even realizes. I mean how he reacted to the guy just kissing him and being nice to him, sure it was jealousy but he had a pretty physical reaction about it. I can’t imagine. He’d have a good reaction to how stolas gets treated and verbally abused by Stella. Stolas just shuts down- it would probably explain a lot to how he reacts to things.
I imagine he hasn’t met her honestly. Besides a glance maybe. Stolas would be pretty adamant on keeping the two seperate I imagine and blitz isn’t interested in getting strangled by a belligerent wife (let’s be honest this isn’t his first time as a homewrecker technically speaking with the amount of people in that party there’s gotta be at least one other lol) so he’s out at the first whiff of her.

Blitz definitely deserves to be at the party because he hates HIMSELF just as much as everybody at the party hates him. NGL I'm suprised they didn't put barbie in the background of the i hate blitzo party because she would definitely go there. After watching this episode and seeing how happy stolas was with the other imp, im fully prepared for blitz and stolas to not be end game.

THANK YOU. i’m a little over 5 minutes in and i’m so glad you understood that there are class systems in place. while stolas had every right to feel hurt and express himself, blitzø ALSO has been hurt and many fans (reactors or otherwise) sometimes forget that. it doesn’t excuse the way blitzø acts but sometimes- he just doesn’t know how to, considering the things he’d been through and the things the class system also puts him through on the daily

blitz really hates himself, he doesn't like hurting people, but his walls are so Flippin high that even he has a hard time getting over them.
stolas though i think is the only person that had made a crack in them, he didn't care that anyone else at the party was hooking up, or moving on, only stolas. i think he really has feelings for the princely owl. he needed to be at that party too, because he knows he sucks.
its something he really needed to see though, all the pain he caused, what he did to his relationships and to get his heart a bit broken too. He did make headway with fizzy, so he got a friend back along the way. He connected with sister, still a work in progress. he and moxie got to understand each other better, while he and luna also connected a bit more.

To be honest, I feel like a bad person for not defending Stolas because I feel exactly how blitz feels in a way I have three exes that I’ve dated in the span of a year. The only reason I did is because neither of them understood how I felt and they thought it was a good idea to spread rumors about me throughout school saying that I was a hoe but even though they’ve done many other things, I still care about them but they’ve moved on and I feel like I should move onto, but it’s difficult when you love somebody and they hurt you so much. and I don’t know how to express it to people just like blitz, so I understand how it feels, but Stolas and blitz needed to sit down and talk like adults.

The thing i don't like about this episode is that neither the episode or blitz point out stolas and what he did . He gatekeeped the book, the one thing that keeps blitz's business, the only thing he has after the fire, alive. With the only way to get it is through a degenerate sexual transaction which blitz was practically forced into. Yet the episode portrays blitz as the uncommunicative bad guy, while stolas the victim when stolas was the one that kickstarted all these problems and their current situation because he wanted to spend time with blitz, in the most degenerate way possible. 2:48 "I don't look down on you" well can you blame him for believing that considering what you did to him for so long. Blitz has every right to be mad at stolas and to call him a rich asshole, and stolas deserves every insult and hatred blitz would have had for stolas for treating him like that. What confuses me more is that fact that stolas does seem to have some level to awareness regarding blitz represented in the song, yet like blitz ,also like doesn't point out the sexual degeneracy of their relationship, being as that was a major part of their relationship and how their relationship even started . Although he did apologize for it, any sensible person would absolutely despise a him for forcing them to do sexual acts to begin with in order to keep their business, yet blitz for some reason doesn't condemn stolas for what he did, and stolas doesn't acknoledge it, stating in the prevoise episodes of "i didnt think you thought so low of me" seemingly having no understanding of why blitz would say that completly ingoring sexual transactions that he made him do. 4:42 "I don't owe you dick" he doesn't yet the episode makes it seem as if he does and should care, completely glossing over all the bad things stolas has done to him, making stolas entitled to an apology and a person deserving of sympathy when he doesn't deserve it. Although previous episodes did allow us to understand why stolas did what he did, understanding is not the same as justifying especially when trying justify forced sexual acts. There are consequences to something so vile and sickening yet the episode portrays him the victim when he has no reason or place to be. The only person blitz had to apologize to was Verosica, which the episode did right, and the only apology that made sense in this entire episode. I hope that the next episodes point this out because it is really bothering me that the story isn't pointing this out, but seeing the current progression of the story, I doubt they ever will.
To paraphrase a comment I saw for the video: "It's kinda funny since Stolas was more "in the wrong" about their relationship and breakup. He genuinely has no idea how much power he has over Blitzø due to him being royalty. He doesn't give Blitzø a chance to explain himself or process what's happening before making his own decision about what Blitzø thinks of him, then kicks him out of the house.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not downplaying what Blitzø did and the hurt he caused others.
Blitzø self-sabotages because of his guilt. (Stemming from accidentally killing his mother.) He feels unworthy of any love. It's unsurprising he hurt so many people.
At the end of the day, BLITZØ is the victim of this relationship break."
Blitzø has recognized the harm he caused, but Stolas hasn't exactly realized what he did wrong.

I feel like the guilt for accidentally killing his mom is definitely that root cause, but especially because he was going to confess his feelings for Fizz when that happened. It's like he took away from that incident two things: 1. He doesn't deserve love because who could ever love someone who killed their own mom? and 2. Growing too attached just causes too many problems and it's better to just run away before things get too serious so he doesn't have to deal with complex anything
While their argument is understandable, a lot of people tend to miss Stolas' absolute hypocrisy until it's pointed out. Stolas has ALWAYS talked down to Blitz. You see it in the 1st episode a lot, there's also the playnames that 1) Blitz can easily misconstrue and 2) actually show Stolas not caring about Blitz's input. Like "impish little plaything" and "my little imp", Stolas is trying to be cute, but how do you think Blitz reads that? And then the nickname "Blitzy" that Blitz has over and over again mentioned he doesn't like and Stolas continues to do it anyway.
There's a point of Stolas' hypocrisy in Full Moon, where he gives Blitz crap for assuming everything is about sex after.... Stolas usually makes things about sex.
And the final big hypocrisy in this episode, Stolas says Blitz can't apologize, but there is literally a point where Blitz literally apologized to Stolas, and he just dismissed that.
Honestly, both of them have a right to be angry, Blitz is shitty. But Stolas is pompous, ignorant, and dismissive. Esp to other imps that aren't Blitz. He treats them like they are less than him. He usually isn't cruel to them, but he clearly looks down on them. And Blitz is allowed to be lissed off with his behavior and his hypocrisy. They both have problems to sort out.

Everyone crying about Stolas being too bitchy in this one clearly hasn't been in the situation of a one sided love being rejected. And by rejected I mean in the worst possible way. It has roughly been a day since he confessed and he was made fun of by Blitz and not taken serious in more than one way. That does something to you. Actually I think he's still way to nice in his behavior towards Blitzø.
There is the background that it's just Blitz's charactertraits and way of coping with the situation -making a ridiculous try in calming the waves- and he didnt see it as more than something transactional to begkn with not recognizing Stolas's signs but that doesnt excuse shitty, disrespectful behavior after you hurt someone.
I love Blitzø as a character as I love Stolas as a character but sorry Blitz messed up big time and people not recognizing this is a questionable mindset
Other than that beautiful episode, I actually liked it more than full moon. 💕
Honestly, I am kinda happy to see stolitz comming to an end... their relation was so toxic and strictly sexual... stolas needs someone who trully loves him, and blitz needs to stop beeing such a diick to anyone he befriends... verosika had a huge character development in this episode... she went from that classy diva who cant accept rejection to a girl that got passed blitz but her breakup is still haunting her because she really did love blitz... who knows, if blitz were to change his atitude (the way he confessed to verosika), maybe they can patch things up and even get back together...
I would rather see a story of blitz changing his life and ultimatly getting back with verosika rather then stolitz... but this is my personal opinion...

It kills me when ppl think Verosika is completely unsympathetic and completely in the wrong just because of her portrayal in past episodes, and i’m SO glad to finally get some characterization for her. Most people just say “wellll, she was probably really mean to blitz and didn’t care about him!” Ignoring the fact that she LITERALLY has his name tatted on her arm. 🙄 This episode just confirmed that she was absolutely head over heels for him and *he* was offending party.
