I am sort of just rediscovering Elvis of course grew up listening to some of his music. Didn't know a whole lot about him, but lately I've been diving into his life and his music and his career in general. What a man. He went through a lot in his life. Was immensely talented, I have a newfound respect for him.
@@Dr.Pepper001 I stayed at the Flamingo. There were no towers just the original motel like buildings. We saw Frank Sinatra at Caesars on Memorial Day weekend. I was 19 but gambled and had no problem ordering my sloe gin fizzes. We were there June 2024 stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel. Loved it. Been back to Vegas over 20 times too. Favorite hotel was Caesar’s until I stayed at the Cosmopolitan. Palazzo was nice too but not as good as the Cosmopolitan. Caesar’s went downhill.
@@Dr.Pepper001 never stayed at The Riviera. We did stay at these hotels Caesars, MGM, Four Seasons, Luxor, Paris, Venetian, Aladdin & a few others. Stayed at the Aladdin in 1978 on our way back from Hawaii.
What a great Elvis impersonation you did. I'm impressed. Thanks Jordan for a behind the scenes look into Viva Los Vegas. Stay safe and hello to Katie and our little cutie Jah.
Oh my gosh what a great tour! I do love that movie Elvis was my mom's heartthrob❤ the generation that began rock n roll. Im engaged and might be getting married out there! Maybe look into that little West church! Thank you!
I dearly loved the movie with the two of them together. Wow What a Movie It Was. Thank u for this Blog and all yr time and all U did to make it. Lov u❤
My favorite movie of Elvis, when I went to Las Vega I had my husband take me to where Elivis and Ann Margaret were, was such a last, enjoyed your tour ty for bringing me back to happy memories🐾😎
Awesome this is the movie that I saw when I was a kid. This movie and Aerosmith Walk this way made me want to play guitar. 40 plus years later still playing teaching and touring. Great video thanks for what you do😎
I saw Viva Las Vegas with my grandparents at a triple movie showing at the drive-in sitting in the backseat of their Buick. I was ten years old and mesmerized by Ann Margaret! What a great memory. Thank you for giving me a back scenes view! Oh and I can’t even remember the other two movies.
I went to Vegas for my first time in November. We stayed at the golden nugget and I was thinking about that movie when I was hanging out on Fremont. Thanks for putting that all together, it was cool!
Only half way through...... that song clip (when you show referenced footage), is driving me bonkers!!! Can't take it. I appreciate your videos but man oh man, that song!!!
Jordan , this vlog was really good I like the way you filmed this one it's really different , keep up the good work my friend. THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.....
Hi Jordan , i lived in Vegas for 23 years and miss it so much😥 !! I loved the mountains, hot weather and delicious food along with the various Strip shows 💯💖💖💖
Back when Elvis was in the army and stationed in Germany my dad was also in the army and stationed in Germany. One day the army truck that Elvis was driving broke down and my dad pulled over and fix it for him. My dad was a mechanic in the army. I asked my dad if he got his autograph and my dad blurted out, “girl, men don’t get men’s autographs!” My thought was, bummer.
I've always loved this movie. ❤️ Thanks for the trip down memory lane. They were perfect together. But I think they made the right move not staying together. Too darn 🔥. If you know what I mean.
Really Enjoying !! I was a Bus boy at the Frontier Hotel 1970 and meet the Supremes. I watched them put up The Elvis Sign at the Internatinal Hotel. I was 20
This is really cool! I have not seen Viva Las Vegas in a long time. My husband and I got married in a chapel in Vegas. I don't think it was the one from the movie, and I know they have so many. Wow, you weren't too far from my house in Culver City ❤ Heart of the Screen land. I never knew that Ann Margret stage dance scene was at the vets Park auditorium 😮 I used to go to that auditorium as a teenager to see bands play on Friday nights. My daughter graduated from college on that stage. Should have came by my house, I would have loved to have met you, Katie and Jah ❤ Love this 👋💕
This was such good timing...I watched this movie recently for the first time, just for kicks...It was fun, funny, entertaining....I've never considered myself into Elvis, but it was amazing watching this classic movie and then seeing the places in your video😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍
Jordan-Thank you so much for this excellent vlog that shows more great Las Vegas and Nevada history! Fremont Street is a great place to visit..A couple notes-at 3:45, the race cars make a hard right - that right turn means they were then driving towards The Las Vegas Strip...Also, The 'Horseshoe' part of the Binion's name is now being used on the rebranded Bally's Hotel Casino. The 'Horseshoe' is at the southeast corner of the Las Vegas Strip and Flamingo - across Flamingo Street from 'The Cromwell'... Best Regards, Bob Custer...
Hi Jordan, my, how things have changed. What a drive around. Nice to see a bit more water in Lake Mead. Sad to see how MGM looks now. Great vlog Jordan.
Very good and enjoyable, "then and now" you put together JORDAN THE LION ! My friend, can you do another Elvis 'Then and Now' for his 1968 film Live a Little Love a Little ? That movie had loads of nice exterior shots over at Mount Olympus in Los Angeles, California and a high quality soundtrack !

Love ❤️ watching Elvis & jaw anytime ": got bunch of Elvis movies on DVD
My cousin and I saw VL four times in one week back in 1964. In the dance scene was a young Terri Garr.
My first trip to Vegas was May 1975. I have pictures of me laying on the diving board at the Flamingo. The original pool.
1975 was also my first trip to Vegas. Maybe we crossed paths. I stayed at the Riviera. I've been to Vegas 20+ times since then.

Great job Jordan! You're a door-opening animal! 😂😂 (said with all respect and good intentions)
You should go and meet Big Elvis in Vegas. He performs at Harrahs in the afternoons. He’s one of the kindest men and was good friends with Sonny West.
