I see a little bit of the motor on the top of it I didn't see if the distributor was in the front or the back he didn't put a Chevy motor in that anybody know what motor is in that thing all respect I wouldn't doubt it 😉 the guys just good knowledge
Lay off of the negative comments as well as the stupid questions… this young man has proven himself many times over ……. I would love to have him as a neighbor here in California instead of these loud unintelligent fools we have around here. Keep rocking Simon “ You done good”!
It's almost like people's skills shouldn't be constrained to their age range and instead on a person by person basis! I know plenty of Gen X-ers who are worse fabricators than Gen Z and Millenials.
Consider buing a flapdisk for your grinder. You can easely grind down the weldings untill they are smooth. Multiple grades. Keep up the great work nice car and the engine choice is the one you made wisely. I like it keep the oldies on the road. Here in the netherlands nothing is affordeble so be blessed... 🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
Nice to see how thoroughly you do your things! Taking care of both yourself and the vehicles. (Except welding and grinding besides battery) Bless your good work and cool videos. Greetings from an old Norwegian car mechanical working on Fords and Volvos since late 70's
Seems like a vehicle always feels a little warmer when you know it’s good to go for the winter. Nothing worse then laying in a snow bank just trying to get the damn thing going again.
Living in the rust belt makes it tough for us vehicle lovers to keep them from rotting away before our eyes! I live in Chicago area and have 4Runner so I'm familiar with rust issues.
How did you come about your skills and knowledge? I have a 87 f250 and do basic maintenance and repairs but I’m too nervous to do the heavy lifting. I have to replace the steering box next but leaving the exhaust leak to the pros I think.
This is the best way to extend the protection of the chassis. The dust with the wax creates a relatively cohesive mixture that is more durable than the wax itself.
Congratulations on your videos, very good. How much does a car like that cost? Here in Brazil this car costs on average 90 thousand Reais, around 16400 Dollars if you convert the currency, but here you earn in Reais if you buy in Reais, then you earn in Dollars if you pay in Dollars, so it would be the same as your galaxy (name of this car here in Brazil) costs 90 thousand dollars, take good care of it, hugs...
I'm hurtin' right now cuz I love your work ethic and the beautiful job you always do....BUT at 7:55 thru 8:06 there are several deep kinks in the finished lines. What am I missing? Please explain.
It looks way worse with the camera angle. unfortunately I scarred the lines a little when bending but it’s only an aesthetic defect. They’re not kinked shut by any means.
Your channel is addictive. The skills and patience in each work you do, are incredible. How do you know so much about cars?
Congratulations
The low buck upgrade performance well though of art of attack at is best love the Ford 66 right
I like the wheels and those poverty caps. They have a shoulder that has a unique esthetic.
But they are useless really, all wheel covers are, they don’t hold the wheels on so……just like a bumper sticker oh well
@bradzimmerman3171 my dad has poverty caps on his 78 motorhome they even have fake chrome 😂
Your work in this video is an awesome accomplishment.
This inspires myself to work on my old car.
Thx Simon!
One of the nicest car from the golden years. Congratz from argentina!

Freedom of speech ! Layoff the commands!!
This guy fabricates like a gen xer, nothing works better than the stuff you make. You should be so proud.

@HolyGoatsOfSteel I don't
I like the brace/ pan shroud/ jack point. Well-done my friend.
Brilliant video man!
Thank you!

Thanks!
Awesome filming and editing. Love that you don't edit out mistakes. Much more captivating without commentary. 10/10 thanks
when you change the oil filter, you can pierce it and drain the oil and then unscrew it
Yup,… I pop a hole with the point of my chipping hammer and go have a cup of coffee.

Living in the AZ desert, I’m impressed by your MN skid plate! You could make a fortune making those out here!
Great video! I'd love to see how the oil treatment held up against road salt, I also drive my bug in the winter...
i love what you do!
Good job mate 👍

Body on frame RWD American Muscle on a dirt road.... Don't get much better gentlemen.
6:31 - God , I felt your pain. you really need a FFS swear cloud there or something. Awesome channel, silence is golden!
Good stuff man.
Man, I had flashbacks to ghost busters when you started that undercoating, lol.

In time all clothes become work clothes. Even the Uggs.
Привет из России. Обожаю заднеприводные авто. Это классика.
Curious on how you learned so much about cars. Was it a combination of school and self taught? Love your content.
Semangat mr senang melihat vidio anda
mustie1 bar n chain oil and dusty road treatment
Right, ha. Except I picked the wrong brand of bar and chain oil
Living in the rust belt makes it tough for us vehicle lovers to keep them from rotting away before our eyes! I live in Chicago area and have 4Runner so I'm familiar with rust issues.
Hey man, is your welder 220 or 110? Love your channel!!! Very inspiring!
Would appreciate knowing what how and why of your tasks
😎👍
Great video bro, but just out of curiousity , is that 3 fuel filters attached to each other in a row?
The center one he wrapped is a pump the other two look like pre and post filters, I could be wrong but that’s what it appears to be
How did you come about your skills and knowledge? I have a 87 f250 and do basic maintenance and repairs but I’m too nervous to do the heavy lifting. I have to replace the steering box next but leaving the exhaust leak to the pros I think.
It's looking good. Quick question, what do you use to record?
Minisoda, the frozen shithole of Hoth.
❤
Why the chain oil over Fluid Film or Wool Wax? I like that they offer the black variant for undercarriages
I would have waited to drive on a dirt road after oiling the undercarriage😮
This is the best way to extend the protection of the chassis. The dust with the wax creates a relatively cohesive mixture that is more durable than the wax itself.
4.0 in shop I am guessing
ur such a gangster

Nice car! Is it a galaxy?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hello, which car do you like more? Pickup or sedan?

Need winter tires
What’s he doing? What’s the thin piping?
Fuel feed and return lines
I don't get it. Is this 3 fuel filters in a row/ in line?
Probably not. The middle roller's probably an electric feed pump. Simon installed a wire to it.
So what's with that push bar in the front what is the significance of that?
Pit manouevres
Wait deh?....you look like Bob Marley, dreadlocks Rastaman 1:18 minutes
🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙👍
You should just paint the underside of your car for more protection
With as much salt as they get paint wouldn't't even last for 1 winter .. The oil with the dirt gives the underside a nice thick coating..
I was curious why you went from the 66 to the 65 Ford?
Rust issues
@@SimonFordman Thanks
Just as a single observation, use safety towers, not just the hydraulic jack.
Love the car, love your videos but I Have to ask , what is the purpose of the yellow covered lights?
Looks cool, i think
