Chris; you certainly have been working hard for your whole life; your work ethic and never give up attitude. proves that. Buy you must be a very good man; that is proven when your friends pitch in to help with tasks that need extra hands.Love watching you work towards your goals of becoming a successful farmer. Take care and god bless you and the wonderful family you built around you over the past few years. Oh you must be Digurts Number 1 customer, you sure do love that lemonade!!
Congrats to the lantern winner.
Looking forward to harvest
Tighten your tester cap till the little button is flush with to of the cap
You beat me to that one
Lol I was just going to suggest this. That’s what I was taught.
I am going to comment and yes sir that what I was talt to and you know what it was perfect
and i have the same tester and it is always 1-2% wetter then what that tested tells you
You didn't level the concave to the high bar, check the straw walker blocks for tightness, check the shoe for cracks and sieve frames for cracks and isolator bushings
Good thing you have a lot of people to comodere vehicles from that way you don’t have to fix yours right away
I watch you everyday and I love seen you and Yenko every day
Our rule of thumb for hand shelling/testing was- shell 6-8 ears and stir. Run 3-4 tests to average, add 3% points. Not saying it is the gold standard, just the way we used to do it.
About a year ago you were either helping Frank with soybean, or working on wiring planter & truck. You are always hustling. Must feel great to be on your own.
I bet your glad you pulled that feeder house off to do the rasp bars, added bonus you got to inspect and clean the concave at the same time!
Can't wait to see your combine in action
Fine thread is used in high vibrations use the washers should help in the course thread . Would sleep better with lock tight
Duff I made a custom wrench for doing those too..I bent a long box wrench at a particular angle and it made it very easy to put those plates on too...
Oh I see what u got love that big deere can't wait to see videos on it n see it in use
You need to remember, most of the people commenting on your videos have most likely not been on a farm before, or have very little time on a farm. And out of all the people telling you how you should be doing things, how many offer to come help you?
Nice video
Everything is coming along for the harvest season.
I just hope he makes enough to meet his obligations...
Really helpful to go compare your tester with the evaluator. Kinsa double check yours. We always added a few points when hand testing. Great video
You need some drying to get that corn fit for combining.... I hope you haven't got the rain we're getting.
ive had the Same John Deere tester for 16 years and love it it is usually pretty close only had to calibrate it a couple times
Chris that was great tests came out really we want at 17. Be fantastic so you are getting there.
Shoulda read the book on your tester. I learned the hard way too
You mention leaving the feeder housing on the header i did comment a few videos back but that was for the claas chopper not the combine i would remove housing how you did
another good video keep em coming
Change that oil in unloader gear box. Change oil in 4 speed trans too. Wouldn't hurt to change oil in finals.
There is no gearbox for the unload. Just 2 gears and one grease zerk
@@RockyRiverFarms so AH164609, AH208345 don't have gear oil .
Have you ever been around a 20 series combine?? No gearbox on the unload I promise
@@RockyRiverFarms it's been since 96 we had a 7720. I thought it was like the later ones too. My mind ain't what it used to be
@@RockyRiverFarms well shit. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Yeah I forgot they driven with open bevel gear. My bad.
Starting to get closer ! 👍
When you work on cornhead if it wasn’t used on 8820 there will filler for opening on cornhead to feederhouse need to take out make it wider be safe
My cousin's got 1 too
Hey Chris hope everything's going good for you it looks like it is. What about taking all them light's off and putting LED lights on. You know it's just a thought. Keep on trucking you're doing a wonderful job💪🇺🇸👍
Very good Video 👍 👍
You're the best person I I want to make sure that you know that you helped me a lot in times like now when it's dealing with my medical condition that does not change but it gets worse instead of better which is one of the main reasons why I'm on on hospice care you're a part of my mental therapy every day I'm so glad that you also have utilize your platform to help with mental dwelling over medical condition that they can't fix or or be corrected by medical procedure which can make also make worse if the surgery is done.
Sincerely!

U have to tighten the cap up more on moisture tester
We took some hand samples and our moisture is 24 to 26 and test weight is 50 lbs , some corn has vomatoxin. So far they are thinking the wild fire smoke is to blame her in NW Ohio, hopefully you don't have to deal with that
You should get the bolt bins that Matt from diesel Creek has.
To be fair..All Chris' are smart people lol. Yessss my names Chris too. Lol .love how u figured all that out and successful replaced those rasp bars..Awesome Duffy Ag!! Well done.enjoy the content buddy..😊
Nice
Chris I got to tell you I am a red paint guy. That old m really looks nice speaking out around the corner of that door.
I'm with you, but he thinks Green is God!
It’s not like it’s his anyway.
@@jasonnehls1083 well well, LOL if it ain't his it was nice of him to put it in the shed anyhow
You could have fed that corn to the cows as a treat 👍 keep up the good work
He doesn't have any cows.
She a good looking Green.
Curious what your plan is for the corn once you start harvesting? No on farm storage so are you going to hire trucks or fill your truck run to elevator and then hop back in combine?
You need to screw the cap until the silver button is flush with the top of the lid!
When you had the throat off you should have had a good look at the grain pan as well .
I can't believe it lol ... that pile of junk lumber in front of machine storage shed is still there ... Air Drop Acres ... 😮
Tighten your Tesser cap till it’s even on top
What other crops are you planning on growing for crop rotation?
Think he mentioned possibly getting into soybeans possibly next year but he wasnt 100% on it yet.
Another R Model Mack!!
Chris this is a supper series question how much of those pink o lights you have left.
Are you going to use that feed Little feed grain bin
My guess on moisture was 22% I was judging it by the sound it made going in the tester. 2 points off ain’t a bad guess lol. Do it enough times and you will pick up on the sound of corn hitting the metal dish.
Hi Chris I hope you weighed each rasp bar individually so that you could balance the drum 😮
They actually come weighed
It don't matter he took all the bars out so the spiders could be off. You never take them all out ,do all the lefts than all the rights
Where can I find your headset for when I'm farming and trucking
Most truck stops will have the blue parrot head sets.
@robreesor5011 yep ,pilots or flying J's have em
NOT correct Chris, sorry but I have run both 7720 & 8820'S in cereals , never used cylinder filler plates, ever, did however use clip in filler strips in the concave in HARD to thrash tight hard red wheat at times .,and only know of them being used in our area in very high moisture corn . I would have also pressed, with a chain and hydraulic jack, that panel that slides under the feeder house pivot area , straight as it looked like it had a bow in it , which will make the material tighter to feed thru the centre of the drum/concave,....just a thought, while you were in there !!! and also maybe done the bearings on the top shaft of the feeder house, they take a HUGE load and a pain to do, but easy while feeder house is off, I understand why, but I think you rushed that part of maintenance abit ,they are a highly reliable combine with good maintenance !! .......... the moisture meter is great !!!
You need a service truck of your on .

We go from red to green. When will franken be born
He got a parts Mack yes I’ve been missing some Mack semi content 🤭
I miss that old red Mack. I hope he is going to fix it...

Dude you need to invest in a milwaukee impacts
Thats what he's useing.🙄
@@robreesor5011 he was using wrenches clown..
@@craigzie2594he has multiple Milwaukee impacts. Duffy is a red tool fan.
He used a milwaukee impact driver
@@craigzie2594Calling me a clown yet here you are looking like one...who cares if he used a wrench to get the nuts started...he still uses milwaukee tools. And not every application requires max torque right away clown.
