Join along as we keep digging through our water way issues. With getting tile lines sorted out and back to running. Long runs but great progress on digging. Thanks for watching along.
Chris, Yanko and the boys , look how far you have come in a year, wow so happy for you . When you get the tile lines all figured out just think what that will do for your corn yields ! Really appreciate you getting us videos just about every day . Takecare my friend !
Interesting to watch and learn about tile lines. Back in the day, farmers in the deep southeast just used a 3 point ditcher to drain water. I guess they did that because of the lack of snow fall but I don’t know. Enjoy the videos, keep digging.
Chris, you are doing a great job of getting your farm in better shape. You are correct, it's the little things that go along ways. And doing alot alone, is extremely rough.
Not telling you what to do but when digging lines put you spade in the dirt to where you put your foot on it is at the level of the top of the pipe so you know your dig level without hitting the pipe looking alot better gonna help a lot fall and spring keep up the awesome content
Never fails, when you have the time, you're always short on funds, then when you have funds, there is always higher priority needs for those funds. Been there too many times. Keep busting your A$$ Chris!
Dirt Perfect channel can teach you some tips and tricks to finding and fixing tile pipe outlets.😎👍🇺🇸🇺🇸Tip put carrots at 12” to keep dirt, leaves and flood waters out.
Good job keeping the excavator moving. How about printing out a map of your property and marking the outlets as you find them and immediately stake them and not put it "on your list".
Is there someone in your area that does drainage cleaning? Here in the netherlands we clean our drains every couple years with some sort of power washer on a long hose that creeps in the tile line and blows al the debris out and opens up the holes so it flows better and drains the soil better. And if there is a blockage they know on what lengt it is so you can repair it easyer
you use steel pipe to finish ur tile exit. because if you use plastic and decide one day you want to burn your ditches off.. the plastic will burn and will melt the whole tile line.
IBC Tote Skid Unit DIY perhaps from an extended pallet you could pick with rear or front forks on the tractor. Maybe a good flusher as well for Tanker. 👍🤷♂️
Flag those outlets 8 foot fiberglass flags, spoil piles need to be pushed back into the field, pick along there first, on rainy days in fall you can push spoil piles
Takes time and money to get everything done right but one by one you're getting things done every year you will get it working better if you pick at it when you can afford to great job
Thanks for the entertainment Chris have a great day.
Appreciate how u can say dont have the funds.so many dont but want to act like they can buy the world. Your humility will take u far.

Looking good. Would really appreciate some drone footage of these projects after that digger goes back.

Huge Shout Out to Bobcat and their awesome dealer network!!!!!!
Dig back far as you can and use NONPERFERATED tile to extend and proper fittings, shoot screws 3 in each connection
Great machine. I am impressed. Fantastic to see you making such solid progress.
Kept up the little things cause add together they solve the big problems great job improving the farm n the land
FYI, try to remember to drain that pressure washer pump this winter. Don’t be like me-lol. Now I pump some antifreeze made for pressure washer pumps.
I have been buying these small aerosol cans of a foaming antifreeze has the hose coupler end on the can. Pretty cheap too.
Great work on the farm, Duffy. Keep it up .
What a blessing this machine is for ya. Ditch maintenance is expensive. Keep busting your ass . It may nit seem like it but your gaining
Trying leaving your spoil piles before you get to far away they will dry out. Always worked for me good lick
That's how it always goes, bro. I tried to fix some grout in my kitchen; $50k and 4 months later, I had a new kitchen.
Hope you enjoy that kitchen, at 50K, that was some remodel. All new high end appliances and quartz counter tops.
Awesome job slow and steady does it
Keep up the great content Chris

In this economy nobody can get their head above water

Made sure you got back with no perforated tile on those outlets!

Over here it's called jet rodding

Great advertisement for Bobcat.
I'm sure that is part of their thought process
Gas pressure washer buy a jetter nozzle and 100 foot line for it. Just need a water tank that can get to the ends. 👍
IBC Tote Skid Unit DIY perhaps from an extended pallet you could pick with rear or front forks on the tractor. Maybe a good flusher as well for Tanker. 👍🤷♂️
extend them out to the ditch so they do not grow in with grass and cave in which stops the flow

Have Yanko wear gloves so he would have thumbs to help. Put some thing in the thumb hole to stiffen it.
Takes time and money to get everything done right but one by one you're getting things done every year you will get it working better if you pick at it when you can afford to great job

A clean out for a tile box
Alfalfa roots will ruin tile lines after a year , that's what I've been told.
Thought Robert had disappeared???
Chris how's the corn you planted in the deer plot for that guy?
I bet the guys who put the drainage in are out of business
Get urself some markers so u know where ur outlets r
Hey,finish that barn cleanup before you lose that Bobcat.
Tile is more important, but come fall, your gonna look at that pile every day.

Soybeans in general aren’t as finicky as corn. They don’t mind wet, but it gets too wet and they just die off
