I have a 18k solid gold vintage Lecoutre and the caseback on it comes off with little push of the crown. Not on purpose but sometimes during winding and adjustment. I don't see a lip on it either. is this normal for vintage gold case to be so easily pop off ?
Unfortunately I had experience with vintage chronograph which had problems staying closed..gold material was very thin and bendable.. nightmare to close
Cool, do a Google search on Invicta 8926 mods , lots of videos and ideas, I did one , changed the face and filed the Invicta branding off of the case , now nobody knows it's an Invicta lol and it came out pretty good! Cool video thanks for sharing
Mate, this was almost like a good old Hitchcock thriller to my eyes 😂 I even sweat while seeing it. Admire your courage and amateur skills, 'though 😀👍 Well done. Great vlog. I do miss these kind of DIY vlogs like the good old times of your channel 😀

I think the minutes hand is upside down...
cut a slot in the paper.
With respect, I feel you're touching the dial and hands way too much sir. Finger cots or gloves will help
I agree but I cleaned it up afterwards
