I have so many good memories of watching her on Knots Landing. She’s the best looking 81 year old I’ve ever seen.
I too was a fan of the show.
Didn't really watch the show but recognized her face......didn’t know her name. She looks very pretty and not forced plastic surgery.

I’m 48, and she’s got me beat. I’ll never forget her on knots landing back in the 80s. She played an assertive, sexy woman who was not to be underestimated. She was a real role model for me. 😀

I had my child at 40 years and 4 months. You would not believe the amount of hate and snide remarks I heard. Not to mention that none of those people never asked me if anything medical was wrong. Or how I was doing.
Who cares about those people? You are wonderfully blessed and your baby is blessed to have you as a mum. Enjoy every seconds of motherhood mama♥️

My mom had me at 45 at a time when that was unheard of. She was the best mom.

She chose to be an actress which afforded her high earnings and other woman chose to be whatever they chose to be. We act like a pile of money was just dropped on the woman. She earned it.
If this society of women would get back to getting married, and getting married to a man of substance( employed) then these women could also stay home during the day( work at night?), and mother their children too!

I LOVE Donna Mills because she's such a TRAIL BLAZER for a lot of things and subject matter that she's done in life when it comes to adopting a black child and waiting for the right guy to get involved with and not settle for any man when independence as a woman is important to her!!! KUDOS to Donna Mills!! I've always kept up with her since the 80's and I applaud her for always keeping it real and STANDING UP for what she wants to achieve in life and it wasn't always "in style" with some of the things that she's achieved!!! I LOVE WOMEN LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never understand the argument people make about women parenting in later 40s/50s. Do you know many children in the US are raised by their grandparents, who are older than that when the kid was born? And I’m some cases it’s the great grandparents! So to somehow tell a woman it’s selfish, given the longer life expectancy and typically higher incomes of late in life mothers, it’s pretty ridiculous to think they’re going to die off suddenly and the kid would lose out.
My friend grandma had to raise her son because she was addicted drugs. Her grandmother died at 90 years old 2 days after he turned 18.
The kids actually benefit from being raised by more matured, more accomplished and more settled parents (40s-50s) than the younger less matured hustler that might still want to hang out and party; still living their youth while trying to raise children; much of the priory will not be on the children; those are some of the saddest situations I’ve seen
@@BN2K you are so right my father had he's first child when he was 20 years old he was a dead beat he never did anything for his son's that he had in a previous relationship as the years went on plus my he is a drug addict at times he was emotionally and verbally abusive to me and my brother
@@angelaholmes8888 I hope that experience makes you a stronger person; what doesn’t break you can only make you stronger; not wishing any of that on any child but sometimes our experiences growing up helps shape our lives to who we are today; I hope everyone can turn such experiences into blessings in their current lives 🙏🏾
@@BN2K My sister married at 25 & had her first kid the following year. Then another kid several years later. She had an incredibly difficult time raising the eldest, and many yrs later, admitted that she didn't have the patience, understanding and maturity to raise a child w ADHD (who is now an adult w bipolar, depression, personality disorder). What if the child had been dealt w differently had my sister been plugged in & present? It takes an amount of selflessness to do that -- can't expect that in your 20s.
She’s a timeless beauty!! Loved her in Knots Landing back when tv was so good! And you’re so right! I know firsthand that women who have long gaps in their resume to raise children get absolutely no respect. It’s not right!

It is a blessing to see your kid grow up. As a mother, it is such a blessing to be able to pick up and drop off at school, attend every field trip, game, dance, school program etc.

It's alright if a woman does not want to have children. Not every woman is meant to be a mother. You can live a fullfilling life without children.
That’s true but not for everyone
My cousin didn't want to have children. Like actually giving birth to children. But she adopted two children. So she has her two children.
I felt that exact same way until around age 35. Seeing my close friends interact with their kids and babysitting them truly changed my perspective on how special motherhood is. I had my first and only daughter at 38 years old, and I’m so glad I had a change of heart. My child completes me and I never thought I would love anything as much as I love her.

Yeah and that view point is widely adored by the masses but as soon as someone says they want to be barefoot and pregnant at 21 and be a stay at home mom for life people attack them and shame them. Let's get real we are have a birth rate crisis BECAUSE people are not having children or having them too late because of society telling them to choose everything else FIRST over motherhood.

The 9 mos it took Donna Mills to get her daughter seems very God-inspired. Like a woman pregnant 9 mos, she was given the same time frame before getting her daughter . And the"She's my daughter, I'm her mother" was so heartfelt. Wonderful!

I was 33 when I had my son and I am so glad that I waited. I got to travel and do a few things first and because of that I was totally ready to dedicate myself to raising him. My mom was 18 when she had me and she was and is wonderful mother. To each her own.
I just turned 50 and she’s an inspiration for me to take better care of myself. If she looks like THAT at 81…then it’s not too late for me! Wow!!!!!!!!
Donna looks great!! I have always loved her. When I was a teenager looking at Knox landing and the cul-de-sac I always wanted to live in one. Now 40 yrs later I live in a cul-de-sac and I love it.

She was one of my favorite on Knots Landing, yes she's beautiful but don't think that's all-natural she had some work done like everyone else, there is no way in hell you can look like this, but she done it Tastefully, I don't think she went under the knife but definitely some fillers and there's nothing wrong with that she didn't over do it.

So nice to see Donna doing so well and still so relatable. You have good show, I like your style of hosting. I turned in for your guest and loved everything about you your show and your guest.
