- You might remember Donna Mills for her long-running role as the villainous Abby Cunningham on the prime-time soap opera "Knots Landing," or a damsel-in-distress in the Clint Eastwood thriller "Play Misty for Me." What you might not know is that Mills, co-starring in a new limited TV series, "V.C. Andrews' Dawn," is also a single mom, and an award-winning vintner who grows wine grapes in her own L.A. backyard. Correspondent Tracy Smith helps us get re-acquainted with the actress millions of fans loved to hate.

I must say she looks AMAZING for 82 years old. She is STILL beautiful, alluring, intelligent, stunning, exciting and relevant. What an inspiring woman and excellent profile.

@@DDumbrilleI must admit, I assumed the same… but if she’s has had it, I certainly cannot tell. I look at Meg Ryan, Priscilla Presley, Melanie Griffith and you can see it, on this woman, I do not see it. So if she has, then all of these people who are having a issue with gracefully aging, need to see her doctor!

The little girl that I nannied for was in the same gymnastics class as her daughter Chloe.
I saw Donna a couple of times.
She was so nice, down to earth, and very friendly to everyone.
And...just as beautiful in person too.

I was her waiter in BH when she first adopted that baby! Chloe was there too and i complimented Donna on how much fun she was to watch. She was very sweet and gracious!
I love Donna Mills. Knots Landing was one of my favorite shows. She is an inspiration at 82 to not only look beautiful but to want to work. Many continued blessings to her.
Donna Mills' evil Abby Cunningham is the reason I started watching Knotts Landing, I keep hoping some smart streaming service will pick up the show for reruns, Tubi TV for example😉

When she said, "you know it's the last chapter..." really hit home. I'm in my mid-60's and still get caught off guard when I look in the mirror! I feel like I'm in my 40's but there's some old guy staring back at me in the mirror!

You could see another 30 years or more. That's more time than some people will get in total. Have gratitude and live your life to the fullest.

It always seems like a back handed compliment to say someone looks good for a certain age (I know people usually mean it in a positive way, but...). She just flat out looks GREAT period...for ANY age. She is gorgeous! Love Donna Mills.
Nobody ever means that in a good way. Haven't you noticed that the comment is only made about women? Men are told that they look great. As women, we are told that we look great for our age. It is a back handed compliment that is actually meant to be offensive.
I'm 62 with my own aches and pains. What she said at the end of the interview about perseverance and appreciating the last chapters of your life was inspiring to me. Thanks for that, Donna. Oh, and you look fabulous.

I never thought in a million years she would consider motherhood the most important and fulfilling job in the world. Good for her getting her priorities straight and pursuing what she wanted. She has lived a fulfilling life and is an inspiration!

I've always been a huge fan of Donna's work, especially from the years she was on Knot's Landing. Whether you're a man or woman, you can't help but be inspired with what she has done with her life, especially after 50! She adopted her daughter at 54, took time off from a successful career to raise her, went back to work, opened a vineyard and continues to work,..and looks amazing all at the same time. You CAN have some of your best years after 50. You just have to DO it and prove the naysayers wrong!
Exactly. I am 73, retired at 66 and received a call to return to work doing something different at 72. I exercise, travel and currently writing an outline for a book. So the best is yet to come!
@@vickiehodnett4360 68 here, often mistaken for much younger. why? because I continue to work every day. I became self employed at 30 and have not looked back. I see many others my age struggling with depression and they are not working. I see a link.

Her voice is unmistakable. I could listen to her speak all day. It's great to see she's still working.
She doesn't look good for her age....she looks good for ANY age. The vast majority of women will never look that beautiful for a single day in their entire lives. You can tell she still puts a lot of time and effort into her appearance. And she still has great style.
And has spent a ton of money with plastic surgeons.
@@JJJettplane I doubt that very much. She hasn't even had Botox in this video. Her forehead is clearly wrinkled and moving. She definitely has not had a facelift. The skin isn't pulled tight or moved up. There are no signs of injectables either. Don't you think she'd fill in those lines above her top lip? That's one of the first things ladies do. Stop being so negative and attacking women for looking good.

I saw Donna in the film "Nope" with Keke Palmer and it was a very much incredible film. This is why she is 82 years young. Wonderful story.
She still look as beautiful as she was during Knots Landing days. She age really well.
I had to look at the date of this post because time stood still for Donna Mills; she is still beautiful. She looks a lot younger. So glad she didn't have ample surgeries that would distort her face. As a kid in the 80s, I remember my mom being a fan of Dallas and my dad liked Knots Landing just to watch Donna, Michele Lee and Joan Ark because they're his favorite actresses.
And she still looks amazing. One of the most beautiful women of all time!
Eighty two - ? ! Ok, so some might offer up that she's had 'work' done, but with that being said, 'work' can only do so much - she looks fresh, vibrant and full of life. Good for her!

Donna Mills took my breath away as a young boy decades ago through her television and film works... even back then I sensed, that she's a wonderful human being... and now, seeing her again as herself, just reinforced what I felt of her many years ago. Donna is truly beautiful inside and out!❤⚘️

I want a channel to repeat all of Knots Landing again. TNT did it in the early 1990's and it's time again. I love Donna MIlls, whether she is playing good or bad. I loved her damsel in distress movies in the mid 70's and I watched Knots from the beginning, and when Donna joined as the female JR the ratings soared. The good old days.

I remember watching Donna Mills on "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" the soap opera, when I was a young teenager---MY GOD SHE STILL LOOKS THE SAME, and so beautiful at 82!!!!! I have followed her career over the years and loved Knotts Landing. How does she do that--I cannot detect any plastic surgery---WOW! I hope she will keep working as she is such an inspiration to all of us as we age. I am in my 60s and people think I am younger than my age, however, Donna Mills is ageless!! God Bless her and her family.

I saw Play Misty For Me in a theater in Torrance, CA July 1972 (I was 17)........and I have been a fan ever since! Now in 2023, she is a wonderful inspiration to me to KEEP GOING!!! Footnote: Damn Warner for refusing to release Seasons 3-14 on DVD of Knots Landing!!!

What a wonderful interview! Donna Mills gets plenty of exercise walking around her Vinyard! Fitness is important to her because she did ballet dance earlier in her life!

I agree…Abby is a legendary character and thanks in part to Donna’s brilliant work in the role, definitely deserved an Emmy or at least a nomination. Other than Michele Lee & Julie Harris early on, no KL actors were ever nominated, and especially in the show’s mid-80’s prime, both Donna and William Devane gave Emmy-worthy performances every week, imo!
When the interviewer asks how does she do it and Donna throws her hands in the air is she saying she doesn’t know as if she’s had no work done? She looks exactly as she did in the 80s, 90s.
