I was coming to write this! I’m a firm believer in the Lord and I believe God was definitely speaking to her. God bless them I’m happy they’re reunited!
Yes I had a mother who was only about her career and absolutely hated being a mother. She passed away 5 years ago when I was 35 but I never felt like I had a mother.
@@Amber-tu2ol I'm so, so sorry. I don't know your mother's story, and maybe she had a justifiable reason for her attitude towards motherhood, but no child should never have to suffer the way you did. I hope you find closure and healing.
Let’s take a moment to recognize and, appreciate the adoptive parents for assuring her often that her mom LOVED her!! Even though they probably didn’t know her, they instilled nothing but positivity in her about her biological mother! This whole story had me so very emotional and, I’m just so happy for them and, this perfect ending! May she live many more years to be able to relish in the beautiful moments of her daughter and, grandson! ❤
So wonderful for her. Sadly, I recently read an Asian adoptees memoirs who said her white adopted family often told her she was rescued, did nothing to help her fit in and beraded her for not making honor role like the other Chinese kids. Turns out she wasn't even Chinese.
I teared up watching this. This story really hit close to home. I was 16 y/o when I got pregnant...a junior in high school. Some of my immediate family made such a mockery out of me and made my pregnancy a living nightmare. It was one of the worst times of my life. Long story short, I almost went through a similar situation and... I just couldn't go through with it. I remember giving birth to my daughter and...she went way (w/ an adoption agency worker)... I went the other way. I was so broken and depressed. After school... I would slide to the agency to see her, to hold her, to feed her. I would just cry. The worker said to me, " You want her"? I said, " Yes"! Next thing I know, I was walking out with my baby!!! Like the mom in the video... I never had any other children...that situation was so stressful, sad and depressing. I couldn't imagine having a child "out here in the world"... while having others in the home. I wouldn't have seemed fair. I love my one and only child to pieces... she's my pride and joy!!! She's now a successful and intelligent beautiful woman... who's a mom-to-be Jan. 2023. I'm excited about becoming a "GiGi"!!!
Congratulations on making a 74yo father tear up right through this video, My girls mean everything to me and I can not imagine life without them around.
The show was called "thats my mama" and she was actually watching her biological mom in TV. without knowing, wow what a wonderful story. Glad they both reunited.
The fact that she never got married or had children after. Wow! Back then, parents thought they were doing the right thing but it left these girls traumatized. I hope they'll have time to really be able to get to know each other. Beautiful story!
@Evered Abraham well, she already signed the agreement to pass all her rights for adoption... and it was 60's anyway.. she didn't know how her daughter was raised (you know, some adoptive parents might be so possessive that they even don't tell their children that they were adopted, and afraid the children will look their biological parents once they know they are adopted), and I believe at some point, she also feared the same feeling of rejection, just like her daughter's story..
@Evered Abraham I don't understand your criticism. Moms don't really have the right to look for a child after they have signed away their own rights. Financial success or celebrity status are the most shallow and selfish of reasons to disrupt the life of a child. It looks to me that everyone tried to put this baby girl first and foremost at the head of this whole process. In the 1960s, there were very real barriers for girls and women who had children and family, and who continued to aspire to higher vocations for financial or creative reasons. I was a baby then, I can't judge. God bless the strong women who live and speak today, and do not judge.
@Evered Abraham you have no clue about adoption processes back then. In fact, it wasn't until the 90's when people starting to sue for the rights to their adoption records. Even then it still took close to or more than a decade for it to happen.
They have time. Where there is life there’s hope we did see a snippet of her meeting and embracing her grandson. Limitless opportunities this side of the grave. They’re all healing and filling those empty dark places in their hearts.
body language tells me all i need to know. Lynne Moody is a professional actor for a reason and she did some great acting in this segment; but her body language gave her away. she didn't give her daughter a hug, she sat as far away from her daughter as possible, folded her legs away from her daughter and even leans away from her daughter...
@bvbxiong5791 you didn't notice everyone in the audience is wearing facemasks and social distancing? It was during the pandemic! I have little doubt it would've been hugs all round otherwise.
@@reformer6666 I have a feeling her parents forced her. her father was a doctor so her family had money but they were ashamed because she was unmarried. to never get to hold her child after giving birth? covered her eyes so she could never see her baby? heartless.
That primal scream and being on the floor in a fetal position when she realised her daughter was alive and looking for her was the Spirit of God delivering her from guilt and shame. It is wonderful that mum can experience all that she is experiencing with her daughter and grandson; she is glowing because of it. God is good.
You never know what anyone is going through in their personal lives. She was an accomplished actress and carrying guilt. After all of those years to have her baby girl find her. The joy!!! The love!!! Thank God for this blessing!!!
@@derrisagreen7764 Now I am 😭😭😭😭😭 again reading your comment. So Touching. Can you imagine how she felt growing and on her journeys in life without her baby girl.
@@derrisagreen7764 Exactly what I said. Imagine if she had aborted that baby. Ugh, I'm so glad she kept it and gave it up for adoption. The adopted parents did so well.
That’s the thing, “I didn’t know if she was safe “. This was a great ending, however not all children who are adopted has this wonderful story. Blessings to Lisa and her family.
So true. Thats why my feelings about adoptions are mixed. Some times you really don’t know who you are handing your child over too. I know someone who is a foster/adoptive mom.. she has two children right now that were in the process of being adopted by a couple…. They were staying with her for a while like a year or so I believe… then they were supposed to be adopted… well, now they are back after only about 2/3 months of staying with what was supposed to be their new family. Guess why….. ok I’ll tell you… the husband beat the little boy really bad that his body was bruised up. So now they are back to where they started. Some ppl in this world do not deserve to have kids. Which might be the reason why they can’t. I hope that man is locked up or at the very least was ordered by a judge to get a mental evaluation.
I stayed at a home for unwed mothers. Many of the babies were adopted. I decided to kept my baby girl and so glad that I did. She grew up and adopted two beautiful children. My beautiful grand babies.
@@lorrainea.285 whoa! So if she would’ve kept her child and then struggle living on welfare, moving home to home each year because they were always evicted,, trying to feed her child and not able to give her child any opportunity of living a halfway quality life then what they have made her not selfish in your eyes?
This actress wasn't that young, god is good. So many 18 year old keep their children my sister at 16 kept her daughter, my sister walked in the hospital and said god is her father. They say don't judge, it seems selfish to give this child up, the actresses parents must have been embarrassed it's not good, the lady needed her real mother as god planned, I would sympathise if her real mother was mentally ill incapable of looking after her, the daughter is well bought up buying a card, actress please treat your daughter and your grandson lovingly. I don't buy your reasons very selfish.
@@janetoliver4266 Giving her up for adoption was not selfish. At least she gave her life, she could have made another choice to abort but she didn't. Beautiful story I think.
I completely agree!! She is very selfish & it was the daughter who looked for her. She comes off very fake to me & I’ve realized that, that is the way with alot of people like her. When they’re old & grey and has no one & not much to live for they want to cling & “love” the very person that they gave two shits about in the first place!🙄 If it was me I would keep her at a distance & continue living my life!! I hope she DOES NOT expect her “daughter” to wipe her ass when she starts shitting herself!!! She was never there for her so I would NEVERRRR be there for her either!!! Her REAL mother passed away & she already grieved, no reeason to go through a second grieving process for a selfish bitch who gave zero fucks about her!!!
Yes I notice this with a lot of women who never married .. they stay beautiful in shape and in tact. Pretty sure marriage and a bunch of kids wouldn’t have her looking like she does now.

@@ItaliaSimone but there’s something different about women who faced never had children, their body and face didn’t go through a dramatic change. Look at Mya, Ashanti, Gabrielle Union they all look like they did 20 years ago. The ones you mentioned don’t
Tamron asked her what it was like looking at her and she said she had a release and felt like she didn’t have to feel guilty anymore cause she knows she did the right thing that sounded like a kind of shallow response. I don’t think she should have felt guilty but I mean you would think he responds about seeing her daughter for the first time would be more than that.
@@pashalynn4102 she did the right thing, Lisa grew up in a loving home that fulfilled her life. She wasn’t even interested in finding her birth mother, until the loss of her mother. It was meant for her to find her birth mother now, so they could get to know each other and catch up with her family history & meet her other kinfolk too. Not the time for bitterness, time for rejoicing that they are finally reunited. My sister-in-law just reunited this year with her daughter who she put up for adoption. Her daughter was searching for her for years , a relative saw her on social media. My sister-in-law was guilt driven for the past thirty years about giving her up for adoption and had gone through alot of depression bouts. Her mother made her give up her daughter for adoption, that’s what some parents did back then. Now we are so happy for her and she is planning to see her and the grandchildren in Mississippi. So this is a heartwarming story and I wish Lynn Moody and Lisa the best! ❤️💕😊
@@pashalynn4102 I understand what you are saying though I appreciate her honesty. When you spend your entire life perhaps never being selfless because you didn’t have to sacrifice for spouse and children this may be her natural response. Maybe this new connection will begin to change all that, but even transformation takes time.
@@pashalynn4102 YES. I caught that too. It was actually surprising and even the daughter suddenly changed her expression a bit while still trying to smile because the actress first expressed how bad she felt all that time. But then, said how she knew how good her adoptive parents would be with her as they wanted a child so bad and were in their 30's, etc. Like wait, what?
Oh my God she is so right. I lost both parents in the last 2 years. My Dad 2019 my Mom 2020. I'm 64 year old single man. I’m adopted too. My biological Mother put me up for adoption and changed her mind. She came back to see if she could get me. It was too late. I was gone. My Mother raised me the same way saying that my birth mother loved me, but couldn’t take care of me. I was never mad because I understood. My birth Mother told my birth Father that she had a miscarriage while he was in the military. When I was 24 I meant both of them.. My birth Father couldn’t believe it. He didn’t even know I existed. His sister kept telling him to get a paternity test until she saw pictures of me. I look exactly like him.. His sister was crying on the phone when she spoke to me. She said, “I told him to get a paternity test, but Oh my God you look just like him.” He doesn’t need to have a test. We also have a lot of the same mannerisms. I look like he had me by himself. I really could go on and on, but I’ll stop here. :) S/N - I’m 43 now and I talk to them all the time. I was raised as an only child, but have 3 brothers.
I just found my father and all my siblings, like you he didn't know I existed. I had an open adoption and a mother with issues but as soon as he seen me on zoom he cried and said I was his and he was sorry he didn't know. I love my father although it's only been a year. He calls me every Thursday just to check in. I'm so happy she found her mother 💜
GOD IS GOOD! Such a beautiful story. I use to watch That’s my momma when I was a kid ( telling my age). 😊When life was simple, I wouldn’t trade my childhood for anything.😊
Love this story. After my adopted parents passed, I searched for decades & finally found my natural mother when I was in my sixties & she was 94. To see someone you look like & who has so many similar traits is healing to the soul. Thank you for sharing❤️🙏🏼
I remember my mother suggesting to me when I was a child one day as school recess was approaching "Why don't you spend the summer with your father?" At the time I recall looking at her askance as if to say "Why would I want to do that?" Compared to other children, my response may have seemed strange. My parents at the time were separated. However, I did see my father quite frequently on many weekends. In any case, my mother's suggestion won out and I began to really enjoy summers with my father. ( He was living in NYC and I was living in New Jersey.) Unfortunately, I lost my father when I was eleven. In any case, I cherish the time I had with him and realize I would have no memory of my father's personality or who he was had I NOT spent that time with him. I can remember mourning the loss of my father. Mourning never feels comfortable but I cannot imagine losing a parent and not feeling ANYTHING. It makes me think of the adage : Better to have lost in love than never to have loved at all!!
Because now she’s old, dried up & grey and has no one, but when she was young & wanted to live her best life having one night stands she didn’t give two shits about her child. Everyone in the comments oooohing & awwwwing & getting emotional🙄 This woman is selfish AF!! She was NEVER there for her child and NEVER looked for her!!! or gave a fuck!! Wow. Lynne Moody has aged beautifully and so has her daughter. I am so glad she found her mom. God continue to bless this family with many, many more great years together.
My goodness, they definitely won the genetics lottery! They are stunningly pretty. I just love her Mom. My husband was adopted. And for my kids, too. It has been such a wonderful blessing.
What a wonderful story. I cried through the whole clip. I loved how Lynn constantly reached over to touch Lisa. Almost like she wanted to make sure she never lost her again.
When she said "when you lose your mother it feels like you're all alone", I'm watching this at work on my break and when I heard those words I literally started tearing up because I lost my biological mother 6 years ago and I'm only 27 still learning about life on my own and it just hurts knowing I have to grow up without my mother 😢

I am sorry for the loss of your relationship with your birth mother. Of course she had her reasons for letting you go back then. May God heal her soul so that she can release the guilt and anger she holds inside before she transitions to the other side, in Jesus name...amen.
This one of many reasons I hate how folks will look at history and judge through todays eye. Times were different and thank God they were able to reconnect and have this beautiful moment
They covered her eyes. How very cruel. I can’t imagine how haunting that would be to not even be able to see this child you carried and loved. So blessed to have been reunited.♥️
Back then, that is how they handled adoptions! Carrying a baby for 9 months, attaches you to your baby! Why would they ever think that not seeing your baby wouldn't? It was harsh and in-human treatment!
I love that Tamron shows her emotions, it is nice to see a host really connect. I have been a fan since MSNBC and could not wait to turn on my tv and see the intelligent, beautiful & stylish lady rocking the short hair. Many years later it is so nice to see her with her own show, well deserved!
Tameron is always crying 😂, but you’re right she has really beautiful heart and I think she might be an empath so she really feels and connects with peoples pain. She’s really a beautiful person inside and out.
And they let her go for that other lady to take her spot and now she’s thriving as a host of her very own show. That’s why faith is important. We’d be surprised to learn the outstanding blessings God has in store for us that we just can’t see!
I can't imagine how painful that was for her to have her eyes covered so that she couldn't see her baby. I am glad that they have been reunited. This made me cry
To God be the glory. I remember watching Lynn Moody on TV also. She's absolutely more beautiful than I expected. Her gray hair and everything that speaks to her age is beautiful. No botox, all natural beautiful.
Don’t be sad….it happened at just the time it was supposed to happen! I’m adopted. Found my birth family but my birth mother had passed away the year before. My birth grandmother told me “You came along to pick up where P left off!”

The way the mom keeps reaching out to touch her daughter, have a connection as they discuss their reuniting story, I can tell she would’ve been a great mom to have had growing up. It’s heartbreaking to hear how she was forced by her parents to give up her baby.
But that's the way it was back then. It was quite a scandal when a girl had a baby out of wedlock. (Notice I said "girl". There was no scandal for the boys or their families). You either sent your daughter to a home for unwed mothers, or you sent her away to "visit family in California". Several months later she would return, and the secret was kept by all the family as if it were the most shameful thing on earth. Sometimes the baby would be passed off as the mother's child, and raised to believe that their mom was their sister. 5 of my close friends and relatives got pregnant in high school. Of the five, 2 had illegal abortions, 2 went to homes for unwed mothers, and the other kept her child. Two were treated like pariahs at school, and bullied by students and teachers alike. Often, parents disowned their pregnant daughters and turned them out on the streets. Accused rapists were treated better than unmarried pregnant teens.

Two who got my genetics from and two who raised and made me into the woman I am today. I love them all.
So difficult to control tears. U can see how they love eachother. I can imagine the moms guilt. The way she remained single. The way she now brought the cards and holds it so dearly to show us all. How she keeps touching her child to ensure the recollection of the past doesnt hurt her.
I got pregnant in 1967 and parents stood behind me. They supported me in every way. I kept my son. He was a joy to me. Now all three are together in Heaven and I can’t wait to be reunited with them. ❤️

Hearing about covering the mom’s eyes or she would never forget the baby is absolutely heart-wrenching and I’m weeping for all the mothers who know this pain.
Add to that being treated like a leper both before and after, NOT being given the same maternity rooms as other 'real mothers' (as they were deemed and we were not), being left on a gurney at the end of a long dark corridor for hours without a single person coming to check as you screamed in agony while having a breech birth which no one noticed - again for those long, interminable hours (except for telling you to shut up because you were 'disturbing the other patients'). Even 90% of the nurses at this Catholic hospital weren't kind. I SO appreciate your tears for I still weep even after all these years. Some of us were rape victims - our stories dismissed and disbelieved because 'that can't happen' according to the priests at the time (I kid you not). Even those who weren't, didn't deserve the horrific treatment accorded those who gave up their babies for adoption after being coerced into signing away their rights forever. My reunion began well enough, then melted away due partly to my newly-found adult daughter's long-harboured resentment of being 'thrown away' as she thought of it.

When Lisa mentioned the primal sound, it just brought home how much pain she carried all those years. Bless her, may she enjoy her daughter and grand children. God is really very good, every day.
Back in the 60's it was such a traumatic process. My husband was adopted in 1966. His birth mother never had any other children and she had a lot of problems with depression after living in the maternity home and giving him up for adoption. They treated the pregnant girls horribly and they had it drilled into them that they could never look for their child. This also impacted the adopted child because they were told that they couldn't look either and records were sealed until about 20 years ago. It was very emotionally traumatic for my husband to try to get information. He really needed to meet his bio mom and hear that he was wanted and loved by her. He got that opportunity and it helped a lot. People think that adoption is all wonderful, but do not understand how much it hurts for many of the adopted children and parents.
@@NYD666 his cousin got that reception. They both said they didn't want him then and they didn't want him now. He ended up dying of a drug overdose. A significant number of adopted children never feel wanted or accepted. My husband's cousin was one of those. My husband's bio-mom never recovered from giving him up and my husband has spent his life trying to be good enough. So many times he has wished that he had never been born.
It is so sad that the birth mother suffered from the guilt of "not knowing" if her birth daughter was O.K. & feeling guilty. What a wonderful gift that God allowed them both to meet. It's so wonderful that that hole in her emotional heart was healed. It's so great to see this reuniting. Thank you Tamron for sharing this beautiful story with your audience.
The irony of the daughter growing up and watching, “That’s My Mama” without realizing that WAS her mama. Wow.

Amazing ❤
The woman from "That's my Mama" was really her real mama. What are the chances.
I was coming to write this! I’m a firm believer in the Lord and I believe God was definitely speaking to her. God bless them I’m happy they’re reunited!
This woman is so lucky to have had three loving parents. Some people don't even get one.

That is exactly what an adoptive mom should tell her kids.
that's what i was thinking, it's always been a question - is there a way to do it right? this might be the best way

The fact that her mother was on a show called " That's my momma" ties it in all together quite nicely. Beautiful story.
Agree the message she was receiving without knowing was so powerful! A higher power is always at work ❤️
And the gag is her mother was also in the original ROOTS movie series. Look at God!
How ironic
Agreed, same with the other show being called Roots.
Hahah. Of course. That's insane

Agree, yet the focus for a few in this comment section appears to be on making excuses for the biological mother.
How did they know then? Plenty of different experiences.

So wonderful for her. Sadly, I recently read an Asian adoptees memoirs who said her white adopted family often told her she was rescued, did nothing to help her fit in and beraded her for not making honor role like the other Chinese kids. Turns out she wasn't even Chinese.
The way she keeps putting a hand on her shoulder, etc out of love, is really sweet. You can tell she went through so much trauma for the seperation.

@@hdb80 Yes. Sadly, I think many times it is due to guilt.
Wow, such a beautiful moment that depicts a mother's love and will! May god continue to bless you, your daughter, and grandchild to be 🙏.
That lady at the agency was a truth earth Angel. Congrats to you momma, soon to be GiGi! 🙏🏽

Wow what a painful yet beautiful story!! Sooo happy for them now ❤️Come on folks, I know you shed some tears too lol

@Evered Abraham Do you know what the adoption process entails 🙄🤣
They have time. Where there is life there’s hope we did see a snippet of her meeting and embracing her grandson. Limitless opportunities this side of the grave. They’re all healing and filling those empty dark places in their hearts.
She’s SO lucky that her birth mom turned out to be so lovely.
body language tells me all i need to know. Lynne Moody is a professional actor for a reason and she did some great acting in this segment; but her body language gave her away. she didn't give her daughter a hug, she sat as far away from her daughter as possible, folded her legs away from her daughter and even leans away from her daughter...

Hi 👋 Valerie, can I speak with you for a moment?
Hi Valerie, can we please talk on Email. ✉️
why did you need healing?

What a good son, too. Taking care of his mom.
They covered her eyes. How very cruel. I can’t imagine how haunting that would be to not even be able to see this child you carried and loved. So blessed to have been reunited.♥️
That is call abuse
I would NEVER allow hospital staff to cover my eyes...I would have held her and kissed her then said goodbye.
That was 50 ish years ago. But now, I'm sure that won't even happen 😂
Back then, that is how they handled adoptions! Carrying a baby for 9 months, attaches you to your baby! Why would they ever think that not seeing your baby wouldn't?
It was harsh and in-human treatment!
Which one is it they cover her eyes or was that last time she saw her child go back and listen carefully 🤔
I love that Tamron shows her emotions, it is nice to see a host really connect. I have been a fan since MSNBC and could not wait to turn on my tv and see the intelligent, beautiful & stylish lady rocking the short hair. Many years later it is so nice to see her with her own show, well deserved!
And now that Tamron has a child of her own, she can really relate.
@@lindamorton9464 so true! Hits different when you’re a mom and can relate:
I watched her via Deadline
Tameron is always crying 😂, but you’re right she has really beautiful heart and I think she might be an empath so she really feels and connects with peoples pain. She’s really a beautiful person inside and out.
And they let her go for that other lady to take her spot and now she’s thriving as a host of her very own show. That’s why faith is important. We’d be surprised to learn the outstanding blessings God has in store for us that we just can’t see!
“That’s my momma”, that’s pretty ironic. ❤️ So happy they are reunited again. The mom has such a youthful look! Much blessings to this family!
It's the exact opposite of ironic.
@@kint5ugee no it's not 🤦🏽♀️

@@crystanick2697 It is ironic what's wrong with you
Beautiful women with the beautiful ending
Children are a blessing no matter what age you have them. I’m glad they found each other ❤
I can't imagine how painful that was for her to have her eyes covered so that she couldn't see her baby. I am glad that they have been reunited. This made me cry
Ive had my eyes closed by someone before. It's not painful at all. I even used a blindfold once and i didn't feel pain at all. 🤔

This story is absolutely amazing. Lisa's parents raised her in such a loving manner.
It's beautiful how she can't stop touching her. I hope they get many years to love each other
To God be the glory. I remember watching Lynn Moody on TV also. She's absolutely more beautiful than I expected. Her gray hair and everything that speaks to her age is beautiful. No botox, all natural beautiful.
A sad and a beautiful story. The mother is so elegant looking. I’m just sorry that it didn’t happen sooner for them.
They are both beautiful.
Well can't make up for lost time but can start where they at and I know they wouldn't trade that for nothing in the World. Priceless
Don’t be sad….it happened at just the time it was supposed to happen!
I’m adopted. Found my birth family but my birth mother had passed away the year before. My birth grandmother told me “You came along to pick up where P left off!”
That’s devastating, no one gave her a choice to keep her baby and they blind folded her so she can’t see the baby. This is traumatic experience but I am grateful that they are together.
I didn’t hear nowhere that she wasn’t given a choice to keep her.
@@BijinMCMXC she said her parents took her to a home for unwed mothers and dropped her off for 8 months and then they blind folded her and took her baby. How did you not hear any of that? 💁♀️🤦♀️
@@larissaperry6230 Shorty, get your ears checked. Better yet, learn what words mean. She was advised and, I assume, pressured into going that route, but at no point was she FORCED. That means she had a choice. Get it now? 🙄

So precious how she keeps touching her daughter.
Cried like a baby! I’m adopted too, never got to met my birth mom. I love these reunions, what a blessing ❤️❤️

I cried like a baby too .I have nieces and nephews who are adopted. God knows, and they do too, that I love them with ALL MY HEART. But, sometimes, I knew they wondered. Some have found their birth families-2 were happy reunions, 1 wasn’t. I’m so happy for Lisa and her mom.❤️

Right? I'm over here like Tamron.
Such a shame that did that to so many young moms back then, so glad things have changed!!! 👍❤️
@@starmessenger ...I was in one of those “homes” for about 4 months... Met many other young women (girls) in the same situation... It was heartbreaking...gut wrenching to relinquish my maternal rights...but I could not financially care for my child... I had not notified the father that I was pregnant... We had broken up... We reconnected after over 40 years...got married...and found our daughter... The love of my life passed away 3 years ago... Our daughter has been in my life since 2007!! I am truly blessed!! 🙏🏻❤️

Tampon Hall does the absolute best interviews. A true professional interviewer. Lisa’s adoptive parents did an amazing job making sure she knew how much she was loved. What a beautiful and yet relatable story! In October 2021, I found my birth father through help of DNA. I never knew my mother either, but when Lisa talks about someone who looks like me, My father and I could pass for twins! His first words to me were “Yep, you look like me”. Had he known I existed, I would have had an integral part in my father’s life. Unfortunately my father passed away a week after we met. The first time I met him was also the last time I saw him alive. I have gained 1/2 brother’s and sisters, who have been open, warm and welcoming. They tell me that I look the most like my dad than anyone in the family. Thanks Lisa and Lynn for sharing your touching story!
That is so tragic! I’m so sorry. I am glad that you found brothers and sisters to connect to.
I'm happy and sad about your experience. Just in time, you were sent by God into his life.
MY biological mother passed about 3 years after I met her.

I just love that she brought out the card and was soo proud to show it to someone.
I’m tearing up from her saying “this is the CAAARD”
MAMA IS SO PROUD. God is good!
Aww the sweet gesture she has the card & keeps touching her arm to make sure her daughter is OK. She never had any other kids out of guilt. She deserves the chance being her mom again & at a time when she needed her mother the most. And she's a grandma. Such a lovely story may they have a long life together of memories.

I was adopted in 1962 and found my birth parents when I was 32 through a series of dreams I had for over a year. My birth parents were so young that they felt like they were more like my big brother and sister …we were so much alike. I feel like I had 4 parents. Two who got my genetics from and two who raised and made me into the woman I am today. I love them all.
May I ask what dreams?

I can imagine the moms guilt. The way she remained single. The way she now brought the cards and holds it so dearly to show us all.
How she keeps touching her child to ensure the recollection of the past doesnt hurt her.
What an incredible story. So glad this woman was able to find her mom and the mom was able to know her daughter grew up in a good, loving home.

@@ElizabethGS Dear Elizabeth, how strong you are! My heart hurts imagining your experience.

@@ElizabethGS That is the final realization of it all. We cannot go back in time to fix the problem EVER. However we can (hopefully) come to terms with "it" somehow. It sounds as though your daughter has some mental issues. If you have told her the whole story, how could she think she was 'thrown away"? Some of those Catholic workers were sanctimonious sadists...

This was a great show by Tamron. Lynn is still beautiful. Lisa's adoptive parents did a great job. God bless the wonderful Adoptive parents.
What a sweet story. Nothing better than for a mom to know her child was well taken care of. Congratulations everyone.
What an incredible story. As a parent you always have some guilt. But I can’t imagine having to have that guilt and not knowing if your child is good or not. What a nightmare. I’m happy that I as a 19 year old kept my baby boy and had the support from my parents. Now my son is 19 himself ❤
When Lisa mentioned the primal sound, it just brought home how much pain she carried all those years. Bless her, may she enjoy her daughter and grand children. God is really very good, every day.
I didn’t think I’d be crying this early in the morning. This was beautiful
Such truth. That’s why we must not allow politicians to dictate women’s reproductive health. It’s our body, our choice.
Oh, boohoo, you do realize most parents that give away their kids throw them away and makes it clear, right?
At least there’s an opportunity of finding a good and loving home. Im sure there are horror stories as well as good stories.
The baby has no choice and I can’t imagine the guilt a mother has after aborting her baby, this woman felt guilt giving her baby up.
Yes, her parents did a great job and her mother explained it so beautifully and now she has two mothers and bigger family to love
