Thanks for uploading this, man. It's honestly inspiring to see how much you and Jill have pushed through these last few years. Life's not been ideal for me either lately, and fear of failure's a lifetime struggle. It's heartening to see your honesty and determination through your rough times.
Thank you very much for saying this it means a lot to us. A lot of the stuff is very hard to talk about for anybody so I think many people just kind of keep that fear inside of them and don't know how to deal with it. I will say even talking about it, I don't really fully know how to deal with it lol. But I'm doing my best! I'm sure you will continue to do the same and things will improve. It's an overused quote from the Dark Knight but its always darkest before the dawn.
People like you Jay are the ones we need in this world, the ones who like to be kind, supportive, and likes to talk to others and make everyday issues something bigger than what people think they are.

Thanks for the encouragement i AM not going through a good moment in my life right Now,i am 22 years old i AM a university student second year of law school and i have been depressed for quite some time (i currently don't have a diagnosis but i know that what i am feeling or not feeling since i am constantly numb isn't normal)every Single day i hear a voice trying to put me down and even affecting my brain in so many ways that i can't understand,but despite the brain fog,concentration issues and the pain both physical and mental i push myself to do things because if i just Stay on my bed i won't feel better instead it Will just keep getting worse,i hope that you can recover from This✌️.
Not to make light of fears and real problems. It's why Batman is so relatable and popular. He is the embodiment of fear and a man full of fear of being alone or of losing people or whatever it is, it's very human and we aspire to be someone who can "get over our fears" it's hard and develops in many shapes and forms. Many times our fears ARE more than just rollercoasters or spiders and those are the ones that are hard to just get over and conquer. Like Batman we hide our fears in many different ways, he uses his fear to serve out justice and vengeance but we can't really do that

Hey man. I hope things get better for you. Fear is a hard thing to deal with, we’ve all experienced problems like this but the best we can do is stay hopeful and optimistic
i been down that path i got betrayed by my best friends and thats why im afraid to get friends cause they might betrayed me again i know where your coming from it hurts to lose a friend

… I’ve always looked at this channel as “Successful” in my humble opinion .. while I’m not an expert.. I feel like being able to have a TH-cam channel where you can talk about things your passionate about .. and have a community..be a part of the conversation is a dream..
… I think it was John Lennon who said… a “dream you dream together is reality” and if you can dream your dream with others your pretty successful in my book

Your speeches show the reality that in school no one cares about me even my "friends" when we have to make something and work together and stuff but every time I talked they kept talking and didn't respect my opinion nor me :(
The good thing with realizing that early is that you can find new friends who genuinely do care about you. I know it probably seems like they're not out there, but they are. And I will say it can take forever to find them, but it is worth it.

I appreciate these real talk Jay, and I can understand that fear and ironically situation (something VERY similar happened to me) just hearing you talk about it lifted my spirits and I like the videos were you just talk with us. You got this man! 👍 (I know it’s corny and overused) but I believe you can make it and be successful at the levels you want ^_^!
Watching these kinds of videos is hard because I feel like a really weak person for having been in-and-out of inpatient for many years now and can't sustain relationships or employment longer than few months each takes all I got to not commit die to myself or others every day, I think you're doing great Jay you're successful more than me and probably more than anyone who thinks you're better off doing something you will get burnt out on just for a more "normal" living, and often all I can do right now is tune into this channel and the community to keep myself in this world
just being in this community as mutual fans of comic heroes I take inspiration from to be a better person, I want to deserve to be in the Degenerate Jay community and make stuff better by providing you this support, anyone who reads all this or my comments here
Saying I struggle with the bullies in my life bringing me down, making my already very unstable bpd identity more unstable, even being a bully myself when my anger takes over, I have more than enough fear that I would never want on anyone else so I want to help others which then helps me with my own purpose
Hopefully people like me help you in some way if you hear us and know we're listening to all of what you have to say and truly being supportive of you instead of wanting you to do something you hate just to make a bit more money short-term and then burn out
My attempt to right those wrongs and make good of my life is to support you and others by letting you know the amount of money a friend or fellow member of a community has shouldn't matter and success is a personal thing, but for what it's worth I think you're successful, I'm trying to learn there are a lot of factors when determining who is the "stronger" person but you're doing what you prefer, you're financially independent doing it and you have your wife jill and a home, you have alex, and this community you're someone I can say I aspire to be like in a lot of ways, and if we disagree on anything, we can talk and maybe learn from each other that's community and friendship to me
