It would make even more sense if your character would be having difficulties inspecting his weapon while the weapon is underleveled and when its above a specific level, the inspections would be improved with less issues
Kinda weird that any ideas for every other aspects of the game can easily responded with "nah they're too lazy for that." But if it's something related to animations like this, it's probably possible they'd consider adding it.
I'd love if in an action RPG your animations changed as your weapon skill improved, kinda like the unique sleight of hand animations. It's not just that your damage and spread improves, your character also holds it more confidently and reloads it more smoothly. That'd be sweet (albeit take a lot of animation work)
As someone who still likes MWII but getting a little bored from it (I'm enjoying BF2042 now for some reason), IW's animation team will always remain top-notch.

Resident evil 7 had that with Ethan ignoring the break action on the hunting shotgun and just forcing it open, and just dropping and not saving mags with handguns, and with resident evil 8 his reloads are much faster, tactical, and way better looking

The secret to success I’ve found with bizon reloads on H3 is to actually tilt the back part of the mag where the bullets feed into the gun first. Usually snaps in place when I do this
I just experienced one of these animations today. I noticed while I was reloading in a fight, my character 'missed' the mag-well on the X-13 and had to correct themselves before finishing the reload.
Fact: the new shotgun doesn't have a detachable magazine in real life, but is loaded through a tube instead. I guess IW just doesn't care how this weapon works.
Operator: Attempts to reload gun like a badass. fails Operator: looks to left and right to make sure the rest of 141 isn’t looking. Operator: slaps magazine with a vengeance.

Cyclical mags are notorious for being hard to reload and jam often, so this is pretty on brand for the bizon at least
