These are exactly the type of videos I like to watch, they're perfect for a starting engineer looking for more experience you can't always get during your apprenticeship.
I use a roll of solder to clear expansion hoses flexible and plenty of it on a roll. You can always roll it back onto the roll later and still use it too. Might have been worth showing how to spray the Schrader valve with LDF to show it ain’t passing once the expansion vessel recharge is complete for the learners. Top content fella keep up the good work 👌
Fair play to you mate. You know your stuff. Real world plumbing/heating isn’t easy. You need to know sooooo much stuff to make your money. Keep up the good work. You come across really well. New subscriber
Thanks mate appreciate the support 👍 yeah plumbing and heating you have to know a lot and the great thing is everyday is a school day, always more to learn
Great work mate and great video as usual. Keep it up, this is the type of content we love....real and good instruction. Its great to hear our good old black country accent on you tube too.....ahh bin ya.
Thanks for the feedback mate sometimes it is hard to record and talk especially if customers wants to have a chat or a lot of background noise so good to know voiceover is ok 👍
Good video interesting stuff for whenever i get to my gas. Ive got a set of diffent sized bottle brushes from Amazon good for blocked hoses. Done a few dishwasher, tumble dryer, and car hoses over the years.
As always video content and explanation is really clear, I'm not doing gas yet but these videos help me to have a decent understanding of the parts, so when I do manage to get a gas course it will make it easier for me to relate to the information being given to me and I always start to research more after watching thanks for the additional motivation bud. Wish I had started plumbing back in my 20's.
Top notch video buddy and the going back and talk over each step with the sump was great would like to see a review of the karcher etc using it on the boiler
Ye good content mate. I'm new to the trade/learning and these videos do help a lot. And for 5k giveaway the wera kits with the sockets and screwdrivers are a handy little kit 👌
Hi mate, just wanted to say love the videos lately! Quick question, been doing plumbing for 6 years now and finally took the plunge into doing my gas, is there any specific tools that you would recommend for doing gas that I wouldn’t have as a plumber?
Smaller grips and spanner to get into tight, awkward spaces within boilers, different size screwdrivers with different attachments, decent Wera kit will do ya right 👍
Hi mate great video as always, just wondering how much you charge for them full strip down services, just starting out myself and no one wants to seem to pay for them
Last one I did was a duo-tec, new parts new limescale reducer was £275, took few hours. People most of the time won’t want to lay so can only recommend it to people some will have it done some won’t 👍
Have just gone back through previous comments, as someone has asked, does cleaning outside of injector and, presumably inside of venturi affect performance? Both would have to be well crudded up! Never happens!!
@Allenhart actually does a really good video on this showing the problems and examples of injectors and venturis blocked up and why/how it causes problems with these boilers. It’s to do with the boiler dragging in the air supply and the size of the injector for the particular model you have. The bigger the KW boiler the smaller the injector. Really common for a dirty injector to cause problems on logics that’s why I always take them out and clean them so they look like new
Hi mate, does cleaning the outisde of injector and inside the venturi effect performance ? I probably should know this as i work on them all the time 😂
@@lewisconway6431 yes mate that’s the main part you want to clean the outside of the injector, it how the fan pulls the air, gas mixture through, if the injector is restricted it can affect it
I know I think my phone is nailed, I can’t hear it to be honest but wife said was well annoying so going to have to sort it, thanks for feedback mate 👍👍

Hi mate
Can you please do glowworm heat only boiler heat exchanger
If I get one il do one 👍

I did spray but never recorded but would have been good to have it in there, solder works great as well so another great tip, cheers mate 👍
Thanks for that. I’m new to gas work here in Ireland. Seeing all these fault fixes are great
Your welcome mate 👍
Great video! No nonsense, really helpful, logic's and baxi's are my go to boilers, keep showing the break downs , they're really helpful.
Thanks mate 🙌👍
Very well detailed video Luke. Thanks you.❤

Ya got lucky with that hose, the ones I used to get I’ve had to change the hose. Absolutely solid.
I’ve had same absolutely rammed solid so yeah plumbing gods looking down on me that day 👍
Drop us a comment with any questions and drop us a Sub while your there 🙌👍 thanks for all your support
Thanks for that very handy video on the logic much appreciated
No problem 👍
I’m sure it makes it easier for you with the voiceover, and it’s just as good.

Forgot to comment yesterday but didn’t realise you could clean them vessel hoses, always just replaced 🤦🏽♂️😂 great video ❤
Thanks mate 🙌👍
Great video mate, completely agree about how easy Ideal logic boilers are to work on 👍
Hi mate I use a kettle full of hot water to soften the sump clips it make putting it back a lot easier
Great video!
On the first job you did, where you secured the boiler flue, what was the galvanised flue in the background for?
Thanks mate, for a gas fire I think it was
Great video Really enjoyed it keep them coming 👏😎
Thanks mate 👍
Excellent video, the content was superb well done, very helpful going forward thank you.
Thank you glad it helped 👍
Good video interesting stuff for whenever i get to my gas. Ive got a set of diffent sized bottle brushes from Amazon good for blocked hoses. Done a few dishwasher, tumble dryer, and car hoses over the years.
Bottle brushes am good tool to have, also have a smaller set very thin ones come in handy for injectors etc 👍

Great tutorials and so many useful tips on boiler service.
Thanks mate appreciate the support as always 👊👍
Really good video mate, very well explained step by step thank you
Thank you 👍
If the vessel hose was copper rigid can u unblock it as the Worcester one was flexi.
Nice learnt a lot with this video.
Yes you can unblock if rigid, if it’s on a bend may need something flexible to get in there
Top notch video buddy and the going back and talk over each step with the sump was great would like to see a review of the karcher etc using it on the boiler
Cheers mate, Actually used the Karcher today, well impressed with it, will get it into a video 👍
Reall helpful video mate, I definitely picked up a few things. Cheers 👍🏻
Glad it helped Ryan 👍
what mini karcher you talking about??
Karcher OC3 mini pressure washer 👍
Great video pal, I find ideals easy to work on 👍🏻
Thanks mate, yeah do like working on logics very easy to take apart
Thank you great vidoe learn loads and confident is really on a high watched i can do it

Thanks mate 🙌👍
Bread and butter stuff mate. Great vid. 👍

Great Content and Gotta agree about the Logics great Boiler to work on not a fan of the WB’s 👍👍
Thanks mate, yeah do like logics to work on, very easy to dismantle and reassemble 👍
Great video mate keep it up!
Thanks mate 👍
Can take holding screw out of expansion vessel and spin 180 degrees so the hose it at the top, therefore less mess 😉
Never knew that 👌👍
Great content mate, more like this.
Thanks mate 👍

Cheers mate, done Wera for last 2 giveaways and they am great kits so will have a look see what I can do 👍

Yes mate, left November 2021 went through all the strikes and never thought they would do it, couldn’t stay after they did that 👍

Great video mate. I have a sump to change this week on a combi so this has given me an insight. 👍🏼

No disrespect but, it doesn't how clean the outside of the injector is, surely it's the internal orifice that matters?
Just answered in another comment mate
Exspansion Vessel fail
That’s what we thought
fyi, annoying high pitch sound throughout video
only seems to be the parts he's in the van, is quite bad
