Sherlock duck not make an appearance ☹️ great job, always love to see someone who actually knows what they’re doing compared to the monkeys I’ve unfortunately had to deal with in the past. Great job 👍
It is SHOCKING to me there is ZERO thermal insulation between the floor and the bare ground... Like what is happening there?? How people can get this place warm in winter if the only thing that insulates your room from the ground is carpet and a floorboard (dont mention the 'air' in the void).
3:03 Careful around black VIR cables. They go brittle over time and split when you move them. If you lean against them the result can be uhh.. shocking
Good video I got one of these boiler I thought I had a leek under the floor after I had a plumber look under the floor I ended up with Worcester Boche plumber coming out it was the censer in side the other plumber didn’t pick it up luckily it was still in warranty Good video 👍
Great video. We've got a loss of pressure in our system. loses i.5 bar over a month. Heating seems to work when reading is zero bar but fill to 1.5 anyway.. the local plumber we use retired and it's so difficult finding someone you can trust.
Have you had anything done to the heating lately? We had a new boiler fitted and it took 3 or 4 months before it would stop slowly losing pressure as the boiler automatically vented the air that was still in the system.
Hi I've got a leak or leaks somewhere under the floorboards on my central heating. Will turning the boiler off stop the water being fed through the pipes? It's a Worcester Bosch Green Star condensing boiler with a tank in the loft and hot water cylinder. Thanks in advance.
we had our boiler fitted 2 and a half years ago so I thought its time we had it serviced they servied it in march this year but since they servied it the pressure goes done to in a about a week the engineer came back checked th boiler and all raidiators but could not find any leaks could it be th relief valve or the exspansion chamber thet is causing the pressure to drop there is no sign of leaks anywere I have checked quite aa few time I evening took floor board up on the landing as I had some work done some months ago all dry any ideas please
Do you cover Merseyside? There is aVaillant boiler at my mums house, fitted around 4 years ago and it has needed topping up every 2 months or so since the day it was installed. Can't see any leaks anywhere, but if you covered Merseyside I'd like to book your services please!
Where are you based? I have a leak in the radiator piping somewhere in the house. I have to top up the water every few days. Tried leak sealer, which didn't work. Went round with a thermal camera and didn't notice any obvious signs, can you help?
@@OriginalLeakDetective Had that done by a plumber about 12 months ago when i had a radiator replaced. When i mentioned the leak, he didn't want to know.
i didn't quite understand how did you locate the leak? we too have leak but can't exactly locate it. I saw you using thermal camera but didn't get how you reached to leak location. please help.
Great work. Good to see the variety of leaks you can find
If you have a leak.... let's get it 😂👌🏻

You were very lucky too 😀
Thanks! 😃
Great work and videoing under the floor 👍😃
Loved it!
Goed bezig
Dank u 👌🏻🕵♂️
Nice work. But that plastic left on the display of the boiler would have bugged the hell out of me and removed it
The soundsFX, IN THESE VIDEOS ARE GREAT!
Good work 👍👍👍👍👍 im guessing the duck has flown home for winter 😂😂👍

You should fill it to 1 bar when cold as a maximum
That's very very small. We normally look at heating leaks losing a bar in 24 hours. Depending on the size of the system 🕵♂️
Thank you consider it done.@@dennisphoenix1
Thanks for the reassurance. We have an ex council house 4 app in Edinburgh.@@OriginalLeakDetective

Pukka video mate, you're getting better at finding the leaks than Sherlock Duck. 😂

Great video 👍. Was it tracer gas you used to find the leak.?
feels like ages since the last central heating leak vid, lovely stuff! also that ending is just cursed
Hi I've also got a similar issue losing boiler pressure with no sign of leak... keen to understand how much you charged for the job in the video ...?
we had our boiler fitted 2 and a half years ago so I thought its time we had it serviced they servied it in march this year but since they servied it the pressure goes done to in a about a week the engineer came back checked th boiler and all raidiators but could not find any leaks could it be th relief valve or the exspansion chamber thet is causing the pressure to drop there is no sign of leaks anywere I have checked quite aa few time I evening took floor board up on the landing as I had some work done some months ago all dry any ideas please
No detective duck? How do you cope?
Hope ya shower went ok? I could smell you from Cornwall. 🤣
Shower went.....swimmingly 😂 duck don't deal with plumbing leaks just pools at the moment 😂

@hikviz9410 yes. But before anything happens. That system needs a power flush to remove all the leak sealer 👌🏻🕵♂️

I need you Matt 😢 there's gotta be a better way to find leaks lol
What's up?
Obviously it was going to be under the floor if it wasnt visible. Easy job for any plumber if they were arsed to look for it .
what was the evidence of the leak?
