First. Great video as usual. I had three Elite Series 2 and always took care of them well. Never mistreated, never dropped etc and had button-, hairtrigger-, lb- and stickdrift-issues and decided to get another Pro-controller. I highly recommend you to get the Nacon Revolution X - I own that one for few weeks now and can say the controller + app + Dolby Atmos access for free + warranty makes it the far better choice compared to the Elite Series 2 for me and you can easily get it at around 100 USD. Also the stick-moduls inside are more accurate than most controllers. A TH-camr named Gamer Heaven made a indepth-review of 30 minutes about that controller.
fkin hell, they had one job to fix the damn thing but still seems to be an issue. i returned my original elite 2 controller due to double actuation on RB, if this is happening again, i'll return the entire thing and just stick to the normal controller that came with the series s, and its still working perfectly.
I guess I got unlucky. I got mine and it has issues with Y and A button. I don't want to return it because the store I bought doesn't consider the issues enough reason to replace it. So, I tried fixing it. First, I cleaned the PCB where the buttons are located with contact cleaner and ISA -- didn't work Second, replaced the conductive button rubber (tried many) -- still didn't work I'm guessing the issue is with the PCB itself. Lesson learned. I will pass on buying these expensive controllers that have unfixable issues.
All depends and can't really predict. Most are prone to stick drift tho. So super important to get a good warranty (best buy, GameStop, etc.) w any of these controllers.
@adamkapitany not sure what store you're looking at and what state, but if that site doesn't ship to you look for another store that carries the controller and offers it w a deal you like.
by the way a youtuber take this controller apart nothing is new in this controller all reused parts from the old one what they did is repainted some off the black ones they have too white remove the back buttons then yea people are having problems out off the box with the sticks sticking too one corner .

Thanks! I appreciate you and the recommendation. Gamer Heaven is solid. I will have to check out both that controller and his review.

I hear you, but Microsoft might’ve replaced that for you before working on it. But I would still try.
do these controllers only last for a few months or do they last for 1-1 and a half years?

@@lbsand what can I do if I want to order with home shipping but I can't find my state? And its required

Sounds like my experience. Thanks for sharing!
I just got this for $119 at Walmart . How do you add the 3 year warranty?
Nice!! Hit up Microsoft customer support. Not sure if they will let you purchase it w/o buying the controller from them directly.
How is it holding up
