@@noahb5482 many series 2s had issues with sticks from factory. Many were messed up out of the box. And to this day all xbox 1st party controllers are one drop away from bumper issues

I personally enjoy the rubber dome switches from the dualshock and dualsense, i feel it requries less force and the flat shape of the button makes it feel easier on my fingers especially for mashing inputs. Regardless, love your controller reviews.
Mine is 2 years old and everything is working very well. No stick drift, every button is working perfectly (im looking at you A button:p) no quality issues. Using it for nearly everything with my pc. Gta v, cyberpunk 2077, witcher 3, tekken etc.
Are series 2 controllers a little bigger than the stock controllers? I think the stock controllers are too small and miss some of their older controllers
They could definitely fix some things with the controller. My main complaint is the shoulder button switches wearing out quickly and the plastic pieces that sit over the switches will effect the travel of the bumpers over time. I can't wait for the elite series 3 if it doesn't cost as much as a console.
No idea why yet, but something about my series 2 premium is better than my core as far as the sticks go. Its much smoother and more responsive. Im gonna nerd out and try to figure out what's going on
i know it can be kinda redundant, but with the recent price drop of the Razer Wolverine V2 (the normal one, not the chroma) it would be interesting to compare that controller to a normal xbox serie controller
With the elite series 2 at $122, the price difference of the wolverine the $80 and the $150 chroma, the back buttons on the razer sucks compared to the elite, it's not even close the elites' paddles are better, and the elite is cheaper now too. The victrix gambit is better than the 80$ wolverine for only 20$ more and comes with a 2 yr warranty.
core is 89 and the elite 2 is 122, don't listen to the haters, Walmart has a 3-year warranty for 22 dollars, that makes the elite 2 140 and the core 110. buy paddles for 10-20$ any stick drift in 3 years take it back and get a new one.
had to send mine back to microsoft because it didn't charge they will probs send me back a refurb had it for under a year luckily it was still in warranty
There's so much hate from people who don't even know nothing about it. The controller works fine. The downside is that it is really expensive for what it really is. If you can get it on sale, that good. I wouldn't recommend to pay full price for this, but that doesn't mean the controller is bad. Dual Sense Edge is more expensive and there's no reason to buy one if you already have a normal Dual sense, the poor battery is kick on tbe balls

The elite s2 is the only controller with the ability to program the back paddles to their own key and not just mimic or copy a button on the controller. victrix gambit is 100$ with a 2 year warranty and the elite series 2 is 144. You're paying 40$ extra for 1 year more warranty and the ability to program the back paddles to their own key. (i play r6 siege on console they are giving the ability to lean without aiming you will need a free button to apply it to, all buttons are taken, this will only be possible on the elite or if a button is possible to act as a shift key which the gambit cannot do but the elite 2 can)

The Elite Series 2 is a mediocre controller due to the poor build quality. Microsoft has yet to improve it after all these years. Stop buying these trash controllers.
It would be the best ever if it was reliable. It tells you that Microsoft cares more about making money by forcing people to buy multiple controller than having a good reputation.
I would agree with you but the core controller is different imo haven't had problems with it going on half a year and typically I go through series 2 controllers like hot cakes cause I use them so much. Apparently they improved the durability with the core release.

Just wait, it'll break. These are well designed controllers, but they're all known to have the bumpers stop working at some point or another
