Zwyroo is reaaaal good, i though that with MDK being 2nd people would stop putting the ERL stigma on new players. Vetheo hasn't done shit the last 2 years and Perkz has been bad since he went to c9, butlast split he was a disaster. If you have in your academy one of the best midlaners in tier 2, why don't you give it a try. This is why EU don't progress, you are all married to the washed veterans

But having a "stigma" towards ERL or "tier 2" league vs LEC or "tier 1" isnt in any way shape or form a bad take or prespective. Theres a quite clear reason for that. And by all performative variables, LEC looked like absolute ass this winter, with the one exception of G2. MDK did good in a piss poor split, so kudos to them, but please, be a little realistic. G2 is unlikely to be able to compete with top tier asian teams (aka really good teams), and MDK got smacked in such a way, it didnt even matter Mikeyx ran it the f*ck down in the last game. If anything, I think its sad that every team failed so hard, that MDKs performance is somewhat irrelevant. Who actually cares if they can beat washed teams who plays so bad it hurts your eyes watching them?
But also yes, washed players should at the very least give way to rookies to have a go, I agree with you on that. And again, its hard to imagine a worse performance than what Perkz gave us this winter, even though 9 Bo1's aint much to go from with a new team - which is where I would say EU suffers even more, horrible format.

@@Victor-wy7yc like cadreal explained its a shit situation for allo 5 players and the coach, this is not a good thing at the start of a season or at any point. They have 1 week to structure their whole game plan new and with the sub.
I mean, even if Perkz is fucking trash. LEC will be marching on a week, taking in count they were scrimming and having practice together, this just creates instability to the team and coaching staff. Unless Zwyroo manages to adapt very well to the team in less than one week, heretics is kinda screwed

caedrel made up a whole movie in his head about how things went down when it is not stated anywhere that the manager benched him, just that he was benched following a dispute with the manager, ran with it and went into a rant about how terrible the manager must be. not saying it cant be the case but its one of many possible scenarios.

It is also possible that there was no real reason and he was just benched for very little reason. I really don't think we have enough context to know if it was justified or not and probably never will. This happens quite commonly in professional sports as well though, look at Manchester United and jadon sancho, it could be similar to that situation. Sancho was extremely unprofessional and refused to apologize even though he was in the wrong. If Perkz was indeed in the wrong he needs to receive some form of punishment, just like sancho did at Manchester united

I think that soccer is a coach's game. Despite not playing, the coach has a lot of say in how the team approaches each game. Thats why a relationship issue that involves a coach is not good. In this case with Perkz, i have no clue what role the manager has in Heretics and why he feels the need to step in. Leave the benching to the coach

We have no idea of the nature of this he argument and subject. If it affects the manager’s responsibilities for running the organisation then he/she is fully in their right to bench a player. It’s a disciplinary action, and Perkz is still getting paid. Most people would get a suspension without pay.
People can't seem to understand that he's a player not someone in leadership; If most people told their boss to "fuck off", then most people would get canned quickly. Factor in that Perkz value is incredibly low and his performance is stagnating towards mediocrity of course any fuss with management would get him benched.

Tbh, they didn't bench him for the dispute at all. They just couldn't bench him because of performance (apparently there is something about it in his contract or that's what I heard) and they used the dispute as an excuse, but the real reason is performance related.

I don't think so, if Heretics released Perkz at the end of this split almost everyone would agree that is the correct move and wouldn't face much if any backlash.
