Awesome! For sure you helped me bud,. Many thanks!
So happy to help thank you for watching.
Love your videos man. Thanks for all the hard work you do to make em. I bought a bn20a and a graphtec ce7000-60 because of your videos. I want to make cool shit like you do.
what brand is your clear transfer
Hi there, what type of laminate did you use? Thanks
how good does the silver print? any troubles with it?
GREAT DESIGNS BROTHER...LOVE YOUR STYLE
como cortas los rollos a la medida para el plotter, yo los consigo de 1.52mtrs
Thank you
Great video! We’re new to this field (we launch in August) and this was very helpful. Love the tip about the ruler for laminating! Thanks! 😊
No problem. Thank you for viewing!
Good advice. I was looking at getting one of those laminators and now I will. Though the irony of laminating laminating a sticker about freedom using all tools made in a communist country is sad. Its so expensive to buy American its made the country dependent on China for our standard of living. I think the only American thing I buy is the Transfer paper I use.
Do you offer the design to buy?
Thanks for the video!
Hey I have the same machine, so I hope I can somewhat help in any way since I just came across this video and it's 3 months old. First, in the VinylMaster program does it let you vector before you start to cut cause I didn't see it in the video and didn't know if you did it before hand, but once you set the vinyl on the page there should be something that says vectorize by that toolbox. You click that and you can play around with the smoothing, corners and level of detail but be sure to click trace and you can zoom in to see if it has any flaws and if you like how it looks then click accept. That may be one of the reasons why the stars and numbers didn't take well cause it cut it like a picture that's pixelated. I also have my machine set up to Speed 10 and cut press 150, goes kinda slow lol but cuts come out pretty good but you can start from there and see if that could be another reason. Hope this helps man, keep doing what you're doing
Hey thank you. I got it running smoother I can't stand the wheel marks it leaves though. Any ideas on smoothing those out?
@@down2stick203 In the back where those 3 clips that hold the vinyl are some gold screws that twist. I came across a video where those are supposed to help take pressure off the rubber wheels so just try playing around with those. I haven't got them out 100% cause I didn't fully mess around with it but I did see a difference. Let me know if that helps
@@Casey-xm3cy Nice! thank you
Just want to say have been looking at this printer for a few weeks and watching your videos. You have been a great help in making our decision. We are coming from a Graphtec CE7000-60 that we have been using for years and will still use. And it seems that once you are in the business you start to realize how many other directions you can go. And we have decided to add this machine to our portfolio. One we are purchasing is a second hand about 2 years old with not much use. Scott
Great video! Thank you!
Nice video! Can you remove the roll while it's cutting so you don't worry about it hitting the roll?
video on shipping?
What printer are you using ?
Thank you for sharing your job with us. I love your videos for many reasons, like reality, simplicity, and not talking too much about something else. Your talk is just focused on what you're doing currently! Some take too much time to take a video professionally and as high-quality as possible, but your pure video is more enjoyable!
Thank you so much! That input means more than you know. Very much appreciated.
Good tutorial. Where do you buy the carbon fiber vinyl?
I got this one from signwarehouse.com
@@down2stick203 I was looking at there stuff earlier.
I have a hard time getting it to read the registration marks. Do you have any videos on exactly how to cut stuff on it with registration marks? Sometimes it doesn't cut correctly and sometimes it doesn't even read them.
Hows the lighting in your shop? Do you laminate over the marks?
@@down2stick203 yeah I do laminate over the marks. I haven't put to much thought into the lighting
Wonderful video. I've subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for the sub!
What transfer tape are you using? And is it medium tack or high tack?
I use medium tack. On the smaller stuff I use the paper version, on bigger decals I use the clear grid transferite.
I want to see a 49er one😊
Really cool!
Looks awesome
Nice
i get $90 for that.
Looks cool
Awesome video I’m a new follower I make custom license plates I use sublimation I’m thinking about doing decals I like the machine you use the BM- 20
I tried sublimation, I put freddie cruger on a saw blade. Came out cool. I just don't have time to dig in with it though.
You mentioned the Overcut option? Does the BN20 has that? Not all the time but sometimes I get the cut short. So if I cut a circle it only cuts it 98% and it’s very hard to complete that cut with my knife. Any advice? Thank you
Which principal vinyl did you use? And are you using transfer tape
How does it read crop marks
It has a sensor, room must have good lighting. I tried once with the lights off and it still read them though.
I have Cricut and I love the machines but yes the media is trash. I like their Xfer tape and that’s about it
Thanks for the video!
Great video. Where did you get the rotary trimmer. Looking for one like it.
Any craft store. They are advertised as fabric cutters.
Have you tried the knife calibration in Vinylmaster?
U should try Substance inc for ur vinyl and laminate. They have excellent product and customer service.
Thanks for the video
You didn't do anything wrong with the process - but you need to apply this to a window that is dark. Like a car or truck window, if you applied this to the outside of your shop window it woulda been fine
Love the vids. Need info on that roll holder behind the cutter. I have the same cutter, along with others. TIP... make sure on long jobs you do a spool test to make sure the vinyl is aligned and doesn't fall off. Great work.
It's actually a shoe rack from walmart. The smaller ones work great for 12in rolls as well.
I am new to all of this, and I really appreciate your videos. I am learning as I go. I have white showing on some of my cut lines when I don't want it to. Do you know if I can adjust something in the BN20 or do I need to just set up the CutContour lines everytime with AI?
I have had my bn20 for a month and just getting started. Do you laminate all your stickers? I just bought the roller for laminating because I was doing a large HTV vinyl cut and the transfer mask bubble up all over. I am putting my large vinyl on a nylon flag I now need to do the job again. It was very stressful. Thank you for the video.
@@down2stick203 a company asked me if I could do a car magnet. Do you do prints first car magnets? If you do, do you have a supplier you use? I’m looking for size 18x24.
This is the right way mate. To share and go ahead !! You know how it works...
how you shipped this sticker ?
Great video...thanks! I just bought a Roland BN20A and want to make vehicle decals and magnetics. Ouch, I'm buying one of those rulers!!
Go for it! Yeah watch those fingers!
hi i like your videos and am thinking about getting a cold laminaror like the one that you have take care
They work great for evenly pressing your transfer tape on die-cut decals as well.
If I want sticker inside for long life , should I reverse the sticker on Adobe ?
Your software could mirror as well. But yeah i'd use adobe. Sorry late response.
Hi! Can you use any paper or specific one for solvent?
