Ranger Creek Descent

Ranger Creek is one of the venerable 410 trails. It's often climbed as a couplet with the Palisades trail, and from the looks of things it appears that folks also descend it. Don't descend this trail when there's a perfectly good Palisades trail that is literally accessed from the same trail head! Anyway, this recreation area is roughly equidistant from Portland and Seattle. It's a fun place. If you have a good sense of humor, this can be a fun descent.

Did it this weekend. Ranger was a scary trail at the top. Definitely slipped walking down THAT tight, steep switchback.
