Is White River Canyon Worth It

Located just East of Government Camp on the flanks of Mt. Hood (Wy'east) the White River canyon attracts mostly sledders and daytrippers. If you've got the patience to climb the two miles to get past the flat section, it may be a rewarding experience.

Love the video! You should plug northwest avalanche center at the beginning (nwac) for the people who don’t know about it they can have awareness of avalanche safety when watching.

what is the avalanche danger like in white river?

It depends on where you're at. If you stay near the bottom of the canyon, it's not too bad, but up high it's super high danger. We were skiing across avalanche debris the day I shot this video. If avalanche danger is considerable or above, don't go.
