Absolutely the best Fuzz under the sun! This single handedly replaced my overdrive and big muff pi! I could spend ages exploring its sounds. The voltage control knob is killer!
I don't think this is particulary a Muff clone. For sure mode 2 is, but with the others mode we are in the Fuzz Face, Fuzzrite,, Tone Bender and Super fuzz territory. Thanks for the demo!
I gotta try one of these out UPDATE: I bought one shortly after leaving this comment. It is a fuzz that can't be replaced. I have swapped it off my board for other muff-like fuzzes many times, but I always put the Eons back on. Mode 2 and 3 are my favorites, especially 2. It's very quiet when no notes are strummed which is great. And when stacking, you don't get the feedback I hear compared to other muff-like pedals. Even with compressors and ODs stacked on.
I use mine before an Earthquaker Devices Organizer octave pedal and autowah to get a talkbox type sound. Or just ise it stand alone for a massive variety of killer fuzz
(MY OPINION): The best and most versatile fuzz for me it's the KMA Dead Stag (better than the Chief Disruptor, that thing can do Desert stuff to Pink Floyd and Chainsaw as a boost), and maybe, a alternative for some that "doens't like Fuzz boxes" is the Warp Drive by Stone Deaf FX or the DOD Carcosa (now, if you like Fuzz boxes, on a budget). Yes, with the Walrus Eons we need to see more (if this can Chainsaw too, if this can do desert dry kinda rock good, and maybe as I saw: YES, but anyone tested yet to try to show it (so I need to see your take on it). At first sight this pedal it's the most versatile kinda different classics voiced fuzz, but not the most versatile fuzzy box that can enter in many realms of music.

Awesome demo. Can it in fact (in the room) do the Hizumitas thing and the Moon thing?
Very close to the Hizumitas, the texture is a bit different. Don't know about the Moon.

This whole series is missing a mid control, imo.
