Its interesting that the tone controls seem very similar and that mostly what differs is the gain structure. Im sure the schematics would show why but just cool! OD3 for me, would probably stack better, maybe a comp in front

So the options available to me are either Electro Harmonix Deluxe Big Muff Pi, Deluxe Sovtek Big Muff Pi, or a Germanium 4 Big Muff Pi. I need another Muff option so I can just flip out, and spend the next 3 years sitting on a park bench, making chicken noises.

Fuzz war didn’t seem to have much gain in this comparison.

Yeah it was painful watching that mix at full the whole time. Should have set it around 9 on the fuzz and 10 on the mix to see what a useable fuzz tone might be from this thing.

Thanks for this video, I've been thinking of adding a new OD pedal and was thinking of thr TS9 but I came across the Plumes pedal on a video and i liked it, this video is making me lean more towards it. I have also recently seen the new Walrus Audio Fundamental Drive that's really nice as well. I have tje Berhinger Vintage Tube Overdrive TO808 which I really like but it seems as though it does have the volume level behind it. I have a Wampler Triumph which is supposed to be similar to the Bad Monkey which from this video I didn't really like nut the Triumph is pretty nice. Any way thanks again for this very well done demo

Great comparison. The Boss sounds like it has more body and mids. The Hyper Pozzum still sounds amazing but is closer to the Shin-ei FY-6. Amazing demo. Love your stuff.

I like the setting at 5:40 still lots of jam but not too overly crunchy more of an aggressive booster.

From my time with the DS-1 so far it seems like it likes high gain very much (like 7-10 gain), but it may come down to how my amp reacts to it
