The fuzz afterwards is a little too lethal for Shoegaze to my taste But it definitely stones hard, and the reverb does do everything plus more, it’s also perfect for doing Led Zeppelin stuff ❤

great video! i always watch your hyper and super fuzz videos over and over again, you think it is maybe time to do a big shootout with the new boutique ones you have? or do you not always keep them around? would be cool to see hear them all side by side hyper and super fuzzes :)) i have the hyper pozzum aswell and also some others and feel like the hyper has some qualities of the shin ei super fuzz with pumping effect with extreme gain settings and aswell some of the hyper fuzz compressed sound with medium settings. but always more open than a hyper fuzz, especially with the clean/overdrive blended in

Great demo. I like that the focus is on power chords as to general grandfather chords and leads. You need a different kind of distortion for power chords, and this shows how to dial it in. I'd recommend four different settings for most players. A power chord setting, grandfather chord setting, lead setting, and clean. It just makes sense for optimal tone in each scenario. Rock on.

I have all three. The Westwood remains my favorite, it’s the most versatile overdrive I’ve ever used. With it’s crazy active eq, you can sculpt it for darn near anything. I boost it with a tube screamer usually. But all three are fantastic, can’t really go wrong.

Dang I really like that. It’s super noisy and kinda weird sounding but it’s articulate and sounds full, I could see using it as the main fuzz on my pedal board.

TS into the Ratt is one of my favorite distortion tones. One time I used my buddies pedalboard and he had it TS>Ratt>Big Muff and holy shit if that wasn’t the best distortion I’ve ever heard

I love the playing on this demo. And I love the Grey Channel. I can't imagine why EQD would discontinue it, it's a great od/distortion. I've had one for a good while now (I just watch this demo occasionally to hear the song lol), and if it were to break down, I'd have to replace it immediately. Great demo!

It depends on what amp you use. The nobels on some amps if you turn up the gain a lot can be confusing. In my opinion the definitive solution between the two is a boss Bd-2waza Craft made in Japan. Simply because it has the advantages of both pedals in one pedal.

The JHS is kind of muffled. I wonder if with some tweaking the mids knob on the right (not the left, like you wrote), you could get it to sound like the stock version.

It needs a small clone more than it needs a big muff the poly chorus is super hard to dial in the same sounds that takes seconds to get on a small clone chorus hell he turned on his grunge pedal about as often as a big muff or rat and he used to have a boss dm2 delay and some kinda phaser during really old recordings and a super fuzz

Unfortunately, you have no idea about the Vox sound. The sound samples are very amateurish. Nobody played like that in the 60s.
