I gotta say, after finally having him in hand he's growing on me. Neither alt mode is perfect but they're both better in person than they look in pictures, and despite being on the shorter side in robot mode he's still got a real sense of heft and presence compare to comparably sized Voyagers.
This Astrotrain design is genius! really luv it, I reckon it has improvement areas, but again, is the best version there is out there. Thanks for the transformation video! Cheers

The instructions are only good if you know how to read foreign language. Some of these instructions I can't make heads or tails from it. Then you look it up and after one or two times, it becomes so easy.
I had a mad notion about getting the Earthrise re-release, and I don't think I'll regret the purchase. Yes. Full price. But at the end of the day I get Transformers to fiddle with them and these transformations look like loads of fun, as well as messing with the weapons.
i've tried to transform this guy and its quite easy, but i cant do the part when you compress the wings to go to train mode, someone knows what can i do? (the problem is that the tip of them dont get to plug in)

I got Astrotrain new in box a week ago. I'm really happy with all 3 modes. A good looking , well engineered triple changer . Thanks for the vid Emgo.

The arms just don't want to work on mine :/ no matter what I do it just won't transform
i'll be honest, the backpack turned me off right away. Glad it's just an accessory though n you can basically ignore it.
