- For those living in Raleigh NC, you know Raleigh has been racking up the accolades as one of the best cities in America. It was recently named the 2nd best performing city as well as the 2nd hottest real estate market.
But what do those rankings actually mean for those living in Raleigh NC? It’s not what you may think though, as many people living in Raleigh NC actually view being one of the hottest housing markets as a bad thing.
So I studied the methodologies for these rankings to see what actually went into them concluding that Raleigh was one of the best, and was surprised by the results.
Come check this video out to see why those living in Raleigh NC are so fortunate.

I'll keep that in mind appreciate
Overall, North Carolina appears to be a highly prosperous state that has been growing by leaps and bounds from a population standpoint and an economic standpoint. I have always thought highly of the State of North Carolina and have thought that it was and maybe still is a relatively progressive state to be located in the southeastern United States (being that I grew up in neighboring South Carolina-approximately 100 miles south of Charlotte along I-77). I have been now living in Michigan for the last 30 years. I could be wrong, but I think that the growth and booming economy of North Carolina could possibly come to a slowdown or could be put in jeopardy if Mark Robinson is elected as the next governor of North Carolina. He has some ultra extreme views and, in my opinion, should not be anywhere near the Governor's Office. He could possibly impede the progress of North Carolina by making major employers more hesitant to locate or relocate there. He could also possibly set the state back by a decade or two. For what it is worth, this commentary is coming from a Black man who happens to be very fond of the Charlotte area (Metrolina) and of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area (Triangle).
Thank you for your commentary! We certainly have a busy election year ahead of us.
