Officially entering DAY ONE of Hot Rod Magazine’s “DRAG WEEK” 2018, we find ourselves surrounded by some of the WORLD’s most impressive and dedicated racers! Even with the looming shadow of what could quite possibly be one of the worst Hurricane’s seen on the east coast recently, these diehard gear heads push forward with their goals AND a positive attitude! With Day 1 only beginning, we’ve already encountered racers swapping parts, rebuilding transmissions, or even swapping entire engines! 2018’s edition of Drag Week is a little unique as racer’s aren’t only competing with one another, everyone here is also battling a combination of Mother Nature along side already difficult constraints of time! Man twin turbo set ups have pretty much seemed to have taken over the whole racing scene big blocks with nitrous only are few and far between now days

They were able to do racing in South Carolina, they will assess the track situation Wednesday morning to see if they will be able to race in North Carolina. The drivers are in North Carolina now for the night.
