- It's Day 4 of Drag Week and we are happy to say that many of our favorites are still in it! Our Sweden friends came within SECONDS of having to drop out, but they did everything they could to make sure that didn't happen! Absolutely insane. Many guys are saving full send for tomorrow, and we couldn't be more excited!

That 100yr old car (1919 Franklin) running 30sec passes and cruising 40mph to event locations. That is just too cool, give him an award.
The Franklin needs to race the 2020 supra. A race spanning 101 years
The craziest part is these guys would have lined these things up back in the day just like he is. Probably on dirt with shittier tires lmao. And they were all driving there and home. 28 second pass would have been a high to ride all the way home too.

anonymous pretty sure there were no proline engines. Those are generally a dry engine, no coolant. Not a good idea for this kind of race

@@davefroman4700 - Just in Drag Week? Must be closest to oldest competing in any type of motorsport - some of the land speed cars they run up the hill at Goodwood might just be a little older, weeks or months.

He toured the entire US and hit all the Concours de'Lemons in it this year.

I was so surprised a 7 sec car is cool but theres quite a few around but 7 sec n/a car that can survive on the street and dragweek is pretty much unheard of

The n/a guys are nuts they swap rocker arms and sometimes gearsets inbewteen races to keep the engine alives
Hell yeah, I'm a motor guy. Turbos are the way to go, but that doesn't make me like them. I'm the child of a child of the muscle car era, I wanna hear a big cam, solid lifters, and an 1100 rpm idle in front of a slick-shifted four-speed, haha! Nothing like NA power.

I think if he wasent doing those burnouts nd he would ben good every trackhawk iv seen drag race with tons of work nd slick never do a burnout and never have traction issues or break pretty pointless to do a burnout thats prolly why his driveshaft had enough

Ya its a billet block barra it was a stock block for years but benny put a billet block last year b4 drag week to be on the safe side i cant rember the size but its a garret turbo and u can watch the whole build inc the 4 link on mighty car mods chanmel

Truth? I liked all of the vehicles that were ran. That def sucked for the 55 Chevy that lost 1st gear but, drag racing's a brutal test of driver and machine. The Supra with it's low 7's was beyond nuts.
