It’s all about your goals and values in life and how you perceive yourself. Also, we tend to want what we don’t have. A lot of women who have (or had) serious relationships start to really value their freedom, their free time, their career and everything they couldn’t have in relationships. It honestly seems like most lonely people want to find a partner, and most married people want to be lonely…
You still can find your true love, and it’s not too late for you to adopt a child if you want to, but the point is, you can be happy without anyone else in your life. In my opinion, that’s the greatest gift any person can give themselves.

Our souls don't age. Our bodies are only our vehicles while we are earthbound. It's like driving a car that starts to have issues as it ages. But the "driver" in this case doesn't age.

She told me lots of stories about friends who did that and aged rapidly. She was dead serious. I always kept that in mind and observed it myself. Racing about or not, such illnesses can vary over time and during the day too. And depending on several things. And the handicap can activate/aggravate/attack stronger suddenly and pause for some hours. And one may sometimes suppress or divert it mentally. I try to not show symptoms at the drs, (wrong and a C-PTSD behaviour) so as not be creepy, a bother or evoke antipathy. Drs are so sensitive, deceptive and dangerous often.
I think it’s lovely that people are together because they want to be. It has nothing to do with anyone else, as long as they love each other and are happy. Live and let live!

So many people tell me I am a cougar or a predator. I told him off for about 6 months and gave him clear signals to leave me alone and said all the time that I was too old for him. I seriously pushed him away but he wouldn't give up. Now 4 years on we are no longer together as a pair but he is the best friend I think I will ever have. I am so happy he came in my life.

The problem is Cathy does not realise there are a lot of blond, slim, and attractive women like her around, and looks soon 'Get old' if the person has nothing else to offer (i.e. conversation, personality, humour, wit, charm etc).
