I met two wealthy men a couple of years ago. Both of them entrepreneurs. They were 12 and 20 years older than me. At that time I was depressed and kind of trying to make ends meet. I tried to like them but I couldn't. I knew I would never be able to have a physical relationship with them since there was no physical chemistry on my part. I wish I had had the stomach some women do but in the end I feel embarrassed by people staring at us and on the other hand I thought that I had to find my way to recover from depression and make a success of my life without the help of a wealthy man. 10 years later I am better than never, independent and proud of myself and right now I don't need a parter but if I did, I would try to find my equal, not a daddy or a millionaire, just a real man, my age or slightly younger or older and most of all, with values and respect towards women.

i think the general rule for most 60+ year old millionaires (especially if you aren't particularly deemed attractive by societies standards) is that if a 20 year old aspiring model starts giving you all of her attention, she's more than likely after your money. of course this isn't always the case, and i think its great that most of the couples in this seem okay, but it's definitely a common occurance. they tend to be so blind by the fact that it's happening though. now if you're okay with this, then that's completely fine.
As for the 66yo guy dating the 35yo girl for 5yrs living in separate houses, it doesn't appear they are heading towards marriage. He sure keeps a tight rein on his money.

It's different with wealthy people, the businesses and properties are tied up in more complicated manner so even if they don't believe in prenups they're required by business partners and investors or even the banks as it's a big risk to divide the monies and lose money on their part.

Our daughters knew of his duplicitous behaviour and had/have absolutely no respect for him…the younger daughter kept his secret for him. He has also abandoned the younger daughter, the one knew of his affair before I did, mid studies and is no,longer funding her university fees. Most age gap marriages don’t last. My husband and I are in our mid 70s and have been married 20 years. Our marriage is blissful. Before we met, we were both in previous marriages and we both divorced our spouses. And for a time before we met, we both were in a few age gap relationships 20+ years younger than we were. We laugh now about our similar pasts and we also found age gap relationships unsettling. We were tired of dating people so much younger than ourselves and when we met, we were so relieved to be with someone our own ages, we married after 5 weeks. We lived in the same city and met in a coffee shop. As far as wealth goes, we made our own wealth together. I wouldn’t trade what we have for anything or anybody. I wish everyone could have what we have.

I’ve had a very wealthy boyfriend and one who was just making ends meet. It’s about the person. I have enough of my own money to be comfortable so their bank balance doesn’t concern me. The age gap, if I like the person, sure… but again, I don’t care about their wallet. I could never bring myself to date or marry someone based solely on income. That’s demeaning.

I don't think he meant it in a hurtful way. I'm raising my granddaughters at 53. I'm not living the life I'm supposed to be, either. I don't say it in front of them, but I have to my friends. I love them with all my heart and wouldn't trust them to anyone else for more than a couple of days, but it's damn hard work. At least he does have a young spouse to help him. My son, their uncle, helps when he can, but he works out of town, so... Their mother is in jail for drugs and their dad is useless. Just because you think, rightfully, that at an older age you shouldn't be doing these things again, doesn't mean you want to change it. It just means you're too old for this stuff and you recognize it. The love and laughs you get do tend to outweigh the not so good parts.

I met two wealthy men a couple of years ago. Both of them entrepreneurs. They were 12 and 20 years older than me. At that time I was depressed and kind of trying to make ends meet. I tried to like them but I couldn't. I knew I would never be able to have a physical relationship with them since there was no physical chemistry on my part. I wish I had had the stomach some women do but in the end I feel embarrassed by people staring at us and on the other hand I thought that I had to find my way to recover from depression and make a success of my life without the help of a wealthy man. 10 years later I am better than never, independent and proud of myself and right now I don't need a parter but if I did, I would try to find my equal, not a daddy or a millionaire, just a real man, my age or slightly younger or older and most of all, with values and respect towards women.

i think the general rule for most 60+ year old millionaires (especially if you aren't particularly deemed attractive by societies standards) is that if a 20 year old aspiring model starts giving you all of her attention, she's more than likely after your money. of course this isn't always the case, and i think its great that most of the couples in this seem okay, but it's definitely a common occurance. they tend to be so blind by the fact that it's happening though. now if you're okay with this, then that's completely fine.

It's different with wealthy people, the businesses and properties are tied up in more complicated manner so even if they don't believe in prenups they're required by business partners and investors or even the banks as it's a big risk to divide the monies and lose money on their part.

Our daughters knew of his duplicitous behaviour and had/have absolutely no respect for him…the younger daughter kept his secret for him. He has also abandoned the younger daughter, the one knew of his affair before I did, mid studies and is no,longer funding her university fees. Most age gap marriages don’t last. My husband and I are in our mid 70s and have been married 20 years. Our marriage is blissful. Before we met, we were both in previous marriages and we both divorced our spouses. And for a time before we met, we both were in a few age gap relationships 20+ years younger than we were. We laugh now about our similar pasts and we also found age gap relationships unsettling. We were tired of dating people so much younger than ourselves and when we met, we were so relieved to be with someone our own ages, we married after 5 weeks. We lived in the same city and met in a coffee shop. As far as wealth goes, we made our own wealth together. I wouldn’t trade what we have for anything or anybody. She talks about men her age looking 'old' and not in good shape, but she could be talking about herself! There are plenty of sexy, slim, older women, but she is not one of them. She needs to keep on dreaming. She either accepts a younger man will want her only for her money and it will be a transactional relationship, or is more realistic, and dates somebody her own age who likely have similar interests and life experiences etc. The only big age gap relationship that worked well was Barbara Windsor, but the difference was he was successful and financially independent and comfortable in his own right.

I don't think he meant it in a hurtful way. I'm raising my granddaughters at 53. I'm not living the life I'm supposed to be, either. I don't say it in front of them, but I have to my friends. I love them with all my heart and wouldn't trust them to anyone else for more than a couple of days, but it's damn hard work. At least he does have a young spouse to help him. My son, their uncle, helps when he can, but he works out of town, so... Their mother is in jail for drugs and their dad is useless. Just because you think, rightfully, that at an older age you shouldn't be doing these things again, doesn't mean you want to change it. It just means you're too old for this stuff and you recognize it. The love and laughs you get do tend to outweigh the not so good parts.
Its sad that most women dont look at their husbands this way...... totally into them and the conversations......
