I"m finding that the slow complete takeaway....done with lead arm as straight as possible...gives me time to adjust mentally to the downswing....and it so often turns into a great solid shot. I think the transition at the top cannot be rushed.
One area I put a lot of emphasis on is my takeaway. If that is in sync then the shot is good. I Do like the Nelly Korda takeaway pre shot feel. I felt disconnected from my body so I’ve been conscious to keep my arms close to my chest in the backswing, I’m pretty certain I’m not doing what you have explained here, but I’ll definitely get my local pro to have a look next week! Im going in for a long over due check up with my local pro! Thanks for your continued instruction mate, and I was reading your bit in a golf mag last week! Cheers
Good analogy, LOL. I actually had a proper frozen shoulder last year. That truly does prevent you from lifting the club up. No width. Club speed minus 15-20 mph. All I managed to pull off at best were hooky pitch shots on a very shallow swing plane.
I practice at home every now and than with an elastic band behind the neck, the ends held in the hands in a golf grip. Is great exercise to keep the arms straight during the whole swing.
GREAT VIDEO!!! It took a day or so to think this through and see how this move could fit into my swing. I got it, I tried it, and it worked. This move was a huge missing piece in my swing. THANK YOU!!
Not one of my favorites, the message got lost when you kept showing the wrong way so many times. What I perceived is the shoulders should turn while keeping the clubhead on a wide takeaway. Elastic band drill made sense the tennis ball not so much. Getting the lower body moving toward the target is critical. The step drill you demonstrate in other videos helps a little. I really enjoyed the video that inspired not hitting the ball but rather getting to a position… very helpful in fact quite brilliant.
I disagree, this video was very very clear and well demonstrated. Don’t mistake your strong opinion for the truth, your response lacked humility, do better
Are you the world representative for all average golfers? Have some humility, just admit it’s too complicated for you personally, don’t speak for others thanks very much, maybe you have a learning disability or something

Love that , agreed does help sequencing for the downswing
You’re the best, Chris! Thanks a bunch! I get what you’re saying and demonstrating in these lessons!
Thanks 🙌

Definitely worth getting someone to look at it, I agree that the takeaway is so key, and getting super narrow early can be tough to recover from

Ouch! Hope all is ok now 🙌
Thanks 🙏🏿 for sharing… solid explanation…
This really helped my sequencing and tempo.
Awesome, glad it has helped
Well done Chris 👏 😊
Thanks Roy

Float loading. Good players do it.
Too complicated for the average golfer.
