EFL class in China. Reading activity.

In this class, students read and then chose a peer to read and so on. This activity works in a larger class. As you can see the kids are involved and excited to read. It also reduces teacher talktime and the class is student lead. It also helped me to preserve my energy, as I would teach 4-5 classes in a day.

Haha. It was a reading activity, I asked them to nominate the next reader once one stops reading. So everyone was alert :)

@@ealteacherkumarsharma8078 it's nice to see such an enthusiastic class. I remember how the opposite of a similar reading activity turned out for me! I was part of the class that looked dead scared of reading where nobody wanted to volunteer lol. Well this was back in 2009 :p I'm so happy we've come a long way with teaching reading to children.
