    Happy new year Klavs. I just did this job on my 2010 Mazda6 GH 2.0 petrol DISI.
    It's a slightly different design in a different location. If anyone here needs pics
    or guidance for the 2.0 direct injection model, Let me know.
    I was able to buy the gasket direct form a parts desk at my local Mazda dealership for
    £7.24 inc VAT. This is a _different_ gasket to the one in this video because it is a different
    mazda6 engine. For the 2010 Mazda6 GH 2.0 DISI petrol gasket part is # LF6T-20-305

    The gasket on it's own for this EGR valve on the 2.5 is LF01-20-305
    You can get this from a Mazda Dealer Parts desk for £7.10 inc VAT
    you may have to wait a couple of weeks for them to order it in from
    mainland Europe. Some Mazda parts are actually cheap, not many though.

      I had to clarify in the video that the nearest, next day EGR valve is £90 with the gasket. Sadly for me a dealer is 10 + miles away.
      Thank you for all the information, this will help people who want to do the valve.
      Autodoc website got plenty of cheap-ish Mazda parts, i don't know if they are OEM spec or aftermarket.

      Yeah, That's why I don't mention dealers, as it takes some time, and people need their car the same day or ASAP.

      Hello. Glad you enjoy the videos. 👍 It all depends, if you have a electronic or hydraulic steering rack.
      These Mazda 6 GH models are Famous for electronic power steering racks / clock spring, or torque sensor going bad. ( You could go to Mazda dealer and ask them to recalibrate the power steering) If you hit a pothole or get a good hit on the wheel, it can throw the system out of alignment.
      On hydraulic systems a service and full inspections would be needed, to fully check out the system.

    What problem u have/had with idle? My mazda gh 2.5 has "rough" idle, varying RPM, etc

      For me the PCV valve was broken and vacuum hoses were split and leaking.

      Silnik mojej mazdy też pracował nierówno na wolnych obrotach. Przyczyną była zabrudzona przepustnica to ten żółty okrągły element 10:27 który z drugiej strony jest czarny od nagaru. Jak to oczyścisz to powinno pomóc, tylko pamiętaj, że po wykonanej pracy silnik musi pracować bez obciążenia na wolnych obrotach przez 15 minut. Pozdrawiam z Warszawy.

      People were asking me on making a video on how to do it. Otherwise I wouldn't touch it at all.

      @@KlavsX_ That is actually very nice from you. I also have this model of Mazda 6 only 2.0 diesel. How is your gearbox? Mine is grinding 2nd gear on 1st-2nd upshift specially when cold, when it is warm it will only grind sometimes.

      Gearbox, hmm. My one is good, no grinding at all. Had you had a gearbox service?? Changing the gearbox oil and checking the clutch slave cylinder. Grinding could be couple of possibilities.
      Gearbox is going bad.
      Low fluid in the gearbox. ( if you change the gearbox oil and you see metal flakes / sparkling fluid, your gears are eating themselves.)
      your clutch isn't adjusted properly,
      or the slave cylinder is playing up.
      I can only guess.

      I was looking for petrol but in my country people love diesels so petrol Mazda 6 is an unicorn. Power is great though,and economy. Car is great I love it! Unbeliavable value for money. It engages reverse perfectly in all conditions so does all remaining gears, that eliminates any clutch issues. 2nd gear grind is very known mazda thing, you are lucky not to be one of us. Maybe it will be usefull for someone so I will deliver my thesis on the subject 😀 Americans fixed theirs with Ford motorcraft gearbox oil but you can't find that in Europe. Here you best bet is Castrol and Ravenol 75W90 with Ford WSD recomendation. If you can get that Ford motorcraft oil (XT-M5-QS) use it because it is from time when Ford and Mazda were "married" and was designed for them. It is also first factory oil. Bottom line, Mazda's gearboxes are sensitive creatures,threat them accordingly 😀
