Very cool that M2C get on a design that gives guys the opportunity to "tune" this swole new chassis for driving style. Still handling giant sends even with the flops. Truck lunks over hills and big chunks of obstacle no prob at all but also shows agility at speeds for the weight that are surprising.😲🍻 She's a big ole girl now and glad you can keep givin her the jams and enjoying the ride. 💪⭐⭐⭐👍 🍻🍻

Nice!! Loved the distance and backflips. I liked how you tried to make it backflip but corrected once you knew it wasn't going to happen. I hope you get the right combination (tire, motor, pinion) to make the 8s perform a bit more like your 6s RC. Wonky ramp shavers were fun to watch since the RC still landed on its wheels for the more part.

I use the Maclan EC5 connectors. The bullets push through from the back of the plug, so there's no problem trying to push the wire through. Also after tinning the wires, i file them down a bit for an easy fit into the bullets. Awesome build though bro, I'm doing the exact same :)

But I still think Max5 combo is best suited for this truck considering the weight, especially after it's M2Cd out. That roof landing was nuts LOL 😂. Awesome run Rich. I couldn't hold off to get M2Cd and decided to Hit the BMX bike track bone stock(- ESC and diff tuning) and she was freakin muddy but made it thru great! Happy bashing my friend

No doubt Bryan 😱. This was only some of my run. I have to keep the vids short with my crappy editing program. She took a legit beating for sure 🤣. Mitch asked me to go hard on the chassis, but we do that regardless with testing. It's the only way to gauge durability besides intentionally crash testing 😱. So does the motor/center diff and the servo/ESC/reciever module. This rig is easier than the 6s rigs no question. Just heavier with bigger parts and hardware. 👍👍😎💪👊👊

Haven't actually torn the shock apart yet, but it feels spongy and pretty sure it cracked or simply fell off 🤣. I've been lucky the weather hasn't dropped below 50F when I'm out though. There's a noticable difference in torque with the 5687 and Max5. The stock system isn't bad since they reprogrammed the Firma 160A ESC though. Been running a Hobbystar 56112 840kv on 34/34 gearing for months. That's a Huge difference. 🍻😎💪👊👊

The stock chassis isn't too bad IMO 🤔. ARRMA did the best they could with the material. The problem is this rig is BIG and pretty heavy 👀. The 7075 does flex, but it has incredible memory and keeps it's form. This chassis takes a lot of strain off the bracing. Mitch did a wonderful job with it. 🍻😎💪👊👊
For soldering large wires dude use a heat gun to heat the barrel up I usually drill a hole in a piece of wood to hold the connector so it dosnt sink the heat away and it works perfectly I used this method to solder 6 awg to giant connectors

Arrma really should have released this thing with a bigger motor, the stock one seems to struggle with the weight and the chassis apparently can take ALOT more power without failing.
I think I need some power when I jump, so I want to change the motor. Can you recommend 56113 or 5687? What is good price and performance cost? Of course, is 56113 the best choice?I am using stock esc.

Rich... I’m still rocking the Kraton 1/8 scale 6s... and of course loving it! But I have a question for you. With all your experience what are the best all-terrain tires to pick up for this bad boy. And if I had an outcast would it be the same?
I'd probably still say the dboots Backflips 👍. They're weighted about perfectly for all around bashing and don't stress the diffs like other sizable wheels. I actually don't love them on the Outcast as much cuz the wheelies and front to rear bounce get to be overkill. The smaller Backflip LP's (4s Backflips) are truly perfect on the Outcast 6s IMO🍻👍👍😎💪👊👊

Nice video may I ask what’s the amp on the max 5 esc 200 or 250 amp and next question would be can I have a max 5 250 amp and run the 5687 motor well the connectors fit I know the max5 200 amp well but I was trying to get the max5 250 amp to run 12s lateral down the road
Thank you Brother 🙂. This is an original 200A Max5. Not sure the 5687 1100kv will handle 12s 🤔. Perhaps a newer 800kv Hobbywing motor with the right gearing. Regardless, I would recommend QS8 connectors when you run 12s power.
Hey rich when you ran the hw motor wit the stock esc did you have problems my issue is it dont pulse wit lipo count until i hold the spur when breaking it slows down hit break again goes straight to reverse hard truck not completely stop
Make sure you recalibrate the controller with the stock ESC per the manual. That's your neutral/full throttle/ full brake calibration. It's sometimes necessary to swap a motor wire around also. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Sorry I just saw your comment 👀. Congrats on the M2C chassis 😱. Yes....I'm pretty sure the 56113 just barely squeezes in. Believe it just clears the mudguard and steering assembly. That said, you'll have to gear way up to get higher top speeds with an 800kv setup. 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊

Thanks Brother 👊!!!! The stock ESC seemed improved after completely disabling the AVC. I did it by swapping my reciever/controller for an old Tactic. The Max5 seems to have smoother power delivery with more instant power. It also ran ice cold. 👍👍😎💪👊👊
Hey rich, question for ya. I seen in your last 6s video with the outcast m2c was working on coming out with the hinge pin braces. I keep catching my nose on the stock bumper and ripping the screws straight out of the diff housing. But i have to leave the stock bumper on to hold the hinge pins in place. Any word on when those might come onto the website? My rig is almost strictly m2c and i love to support mitch and all at m2c! The only thing i have that isnt m2c is my servo mount and that is voltage hobbies
I'm not sure when he'll have the hinge pin blocks available 🤔. I'll definitely ask though. Not sure he's done designing the front blocks. The stock Outcast/Notorious bumper is junk IMO. Much better to replace with RPM or Tbone Basher bumper. My preference is the Tbone Typhon 6s one. Just need the mini ARRMA bumper to hold the pins in. Comes with the Composite Ball cups goodie bag. Just have to replace the front hinge pin brace screws with shorter ones after removing the stock Outcast bumper. I'd go with the Granite 😍. The Big Rock can really get the power down, but it's too tipsy with the stock tires and offset. Most kids (and adults 😱) will enjoy the agile Granite and it's ability to pull tricks almost effortlessly. I still argue it's one of the best, most durable RC's around, especially for the price point. It's the King at the skatepark's too.🍻😎💪👊👊

I liked how you tried to make it backflip but corrected once you knew it wasn't going to happen. I hope you get the right combination (tire, motor, pinion) to make the 8s perform a bit more like your 6s RC. Wonky ramp shavers were fun to watch since the RC still landed on its wheels for the more part.

I use the Maclan EC5 connectors. The bullets push through from the back of the plug, so there's no problem trying to push the wire through. Also after tinning the wires, i file them down a bit for an easy fit into the bullets. Awesome build though bro, I'm doing the exact same :)

No doubt Bryan 😱. This was only some of my run. I have to keep the vids short with my crappy editing program. She took a legit beating for sure 🤣. Mitch asked me to go hard on the chassis, but we do that regardless with testing. It's the only way to gauge durability besides intentionally crash testing 😱. So does the motor/center diff and the servo/ESC/reciever module. This rig is easier than the 6s rigs no question. Just heavier with bigger parts and hardware. 👍👍😎💪👊👊

Minor or major difference between stock and hobbywing set up?
There's a noticable difference in torque with the 5687 and Max5. The stock system isn't bad since they reprogrammed the Firma 160A ESC though. Been running a Hobbystar 56112 840kv on 34/34 gearing for months. That's a Huge difference. 🍻😎💪👊👊

The stock chassis isn't too bad IMO 🤔. ARRMA did the best they could with the material. The problem is this rig is BIG and pretty heavy 👀. The 7075 does flex, but it has incredible memory and keeps it's form. This chassis takes a lot of strain off the bracing. Mitch did a wonderful job with it. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Did the stock ESC ever overheat running that bigger 5687 motor?
For soldering large wires dude use a heat gun to heat the barrel up I usually drill a hole in a piece of wood to hold the connector so it dosnt sink the heat away and it works perfectly I used this method to solder 6 awg to giant connectors

Rich... I’m still rocking the Kraton 1/8 scale 6s... and of course loving it! But I have a question for you. With all your experience what are the best all-terrain tires to pick up for this bad boy. And if I had an outcast would it be the same?
I'd probably still say the dboots Backflips 👍. They're weighted about perfectly for all around bashing and don't stress the diffs like other sizable wheels. I actually don't love them on the Outcast as much cuz the wheelies and front to rear bounce get to be overkill. The smaller Backflip LP's (4s Backflips) are truly perfect on the Outcast 6s IMO🍻👍👍😎💪👊👊

Thank you Brother 🙂. This is an original 200A Max5. Not sure the 5687 1100kv will handle 12s 🤔. Perhaps a newer 800kv Hobbywing motor with the right gearing. Regardless, I would recommend QS8 connectors when you run 12s power.

Hey rich when you ran the hw motor wit the stock esc did you have problems my issue is it dont pulse wit lipo count until i hold the spur when breaking it slows down hit break again goes straight to reverse hard truck not completely stop
Make sure you recalibrate the controller with the stock ESC per the manual. That's your neutral/full throttle/ full brake calibration. It's sometimes necessary to swap a motor wire around also. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Sorry I just saw your comment 👀. Congrats on the M2C chassis 😱. Yes....I'm pretty sure the 56113 just barely squeezes in. Believe it just clears the mudguard and steering assembly. That said, you'll have to gear way up to get higher top speeds with an 800kv setup. 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊

Thanks Brother 👊!!!! The stock ESC seemed improved after completely disabling the AVC. I did it by swapping my reciever/controller for an old Tactic. The Max5 seems to have smoother power delivery with more instant power. It also ran ice cold. 👍👍😎💪👊👊
Hey rich, question for ya. I seen in your last 6s video with the outcast m2c was working on coming out with the hinge pin braces. I keep catching my nose on the stock bumper and ripping the screws straight out of the diff housing. But i have to leave the stock bumper on to hold the hinge pins in place. Any word on when those might come onto the website? My rig is almost strictly m2c and i love to support mitch and all at m2c! The only thing i have that isnt m2c is my servo mount and that is voltage hobbies
I'm not sure when he'll have the hinge pin blocks available 🤔. I'll definitely ask though. Not sure he's done designing the front blocks. The stock Outcast/Notorious bumper is junk IMO. Much better to replace with RPM or Tbone Basher bumper. My preference is the Tbone Typhon 6s one. Just need the mini ARRMA bumper to hold the pins in. Comes with the Composite Ball cups goodie bag. Just have to replace the front hinge pin brace screws with shorter ones after removing the stock Outcast bumper. Hey Rich Awesome stuff as always... question looking to get either a granite 3s or Big rock For my son what one would you recommend
I'd go with the Granite 😍. The Big Rock can really get the power down, but it's too tipsy with the stock tires and offset. Most kids (and adults 😱) will enjoy the agile Granite and it's ability to pull tricks almost effortlessly. I still argue it's one of the best, most durable RC's around, especially for the price point. It's the King at the skatepark's too.🍻😎💪👊👊

@@rcguy8514 I think it would overall 👍. I LOVE my Kraton 4s 😍. Especially geared up to 15T with Badlands 3.8's on. 🍻
