Ripping that shelf queen on 12s is epic! 🤙🏻 For more speed, how about giving us a video on the turbo timing features of that esc? It should work out like upping the pinion gear, more speed for more heat.
I was just reading up on that feature, it works at full throttle only and you can set delay times. For punch, Hobbywing says max punch makes the throttle movement 1:1 and will pull the most amps in that mode
Turbo mode on the xr8 g2 goes from 10amps full throttle just holding it full throttle in the air to 30 amps at 48degrees of turbo. It really puts a strain on your batteries
Dude, that Kraton is absolutely stunning. I wanted to do my Kraton and vitivon from front to back when I discovered vitivon for the first time but they are so expensive But man does it look good the vehicle is going to last you for a lifetime
Nice I put that in my old felony changed the rear diffs to the same as the front 500 kv motor check it out just painted the body Audi r8 putting my wing on just been very busy building thanks from Bkf racing ❤

No need for all that metal in a basher. Thats more of a show piece. You def need to replace some parts from stock on the Kraton 8s but $3k worth of machined aluminum isn’t necessary.

You really gotta gear up those low kv motors to make up for he lower rpm that they spin.... My K8 with the max5 800kv has 30/39 and my Outcast 8s with the same system has 34/39 in it.
i got the max 4 with a castle 2028 1100kv in my k8 exb and it just absolutely destroys the drive line on 12s. been through 2 center diffs 4 rear diffs 3 pairs of m2c overkill shaft's and the factory ones. had it going 75 mph at 50% throttle and it tries to flip.
Man them old KRATON 8s are sooo different than the new KRATON EXB 8 rtr. You can’t put that 56118 can motor in it with cutting your bell crank or ordering that bell crank from M2c

It’s geared way too slow in this. I’ve got it geared up now and it’s way way stronger.

That's crazy my big rock 8s can do 65mph and it has more in it, just need to get better tires, wasn't able to go full throttle.

Having a motor undergeared will create heat, the motor is running on max rpm more than you’ll be doing if it was geared a lill higher.
I’ve got it 25/25 now and lunch turned up but it’s raining.
