    Two things....First, here's a top tip from us racers. Brake cleaner will do a decent job, but it takes forever (as you saw). Naptha will clean the silicone oil out of diffs very quickly. Don't know if you can get it in the UK, but it's available here in the states at any Home Depot or Lowes "big box" store. Second, I'm glad to see M2C getting some recognition outside of the racing community. I live a couple hours away from Mitch, and have had not only the pleasure of running his products on my race buggy and truggy for years now, but also getting to hang out with him at many RC races up and down the east coast. He's a good guy, and makes great products!

    The funny part about this chassis swap is that now with the shorter wheelbase chassis, the wheel openings of the stock kraton body actually line up with the wheels!
    And this longer wrenching vid was exactly what I needed today. THANKS KEV! 👍

    I wonder why aftermarket companies don’t make plastic chasis like the xmaxx for these Armas? Would make em lighter and bend proof probably minimizing the beating on the servos and motors that tends to happen as you have showed.

      Flat bottom chassis don’t perform well as plastic. What gives it the strength is all the bends and curves in it.

    • @chris81983
      @chris81983 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The weight of my 8s Arrma is much heavier than my xmaxx. The plastic works with traxxas because the entire truck is built around being plastic, and they are super light for the size.

    So I put a 4s brushless system in my granite, it originally came brushed. It lasted about 30 seconds before the rear end grenaded followed by the slipper gear melting. I upgraded everything to the 3s granite components and OH MY GAWD!! Thanks Kevin and Claire and Pat and 8s Steve for getting me interested in hobby rc. Best fun I’ve had since loosing my thumbs.

      @mojaverc1585 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      ThoMz RC yeah it has a very thick brace at the the rear. Like hella thick. And the centre brace is in two now. Much much stronger. Hopefully they do it to the 6s rigs too. That would be friggin epic. They would be like 10x stronger.

    • @PeopleDoingStuff
      @PeopleDoingStuff 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      In the arrma forums people already are saying it was not enough.

    • @SaviorUnkind
      @SaviorUnkind 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@PeopleDoingStuff I haven't seen that. I had V1 and it bent but I was able to return it. I got V1. 5 about 3 weeks ago and it's still straight as a board, even with crashes that have shattered the A-arms and the wing mount. M2C crusher chassis would be more durable especially because it's shorter, but not a necessity.

Thought I was done BUT After watching this Video I have no Choice. I Would love to try the Ear Plug in the Diff. And Definitely want that Shorter Wheel Base Chassie... 300$ WoW!! Looks like it's Definitely Worth it.

    Throttle RC - Yes this is true, the V2 Chassis has a huge upgraded brace. One downfall of getting a newly released vehicle with no part support right away. they need time to work out the kinks. The A arms are being warrantied hard because of issues with the moulding process.
