There is also a new little problem: If you press "play", you won't be able to scroll the timeline :/ and GV job monitor should turn on automaticly when i start rendering. Great job with audio and tracking and greeat new transition :)
You can scroll the timeline, but EIDUS will always show you where it plays. Try to add clips and effects to the timeline while playing, that is a nice feature of EDIUS!

8K Project setting (and also 6K and so on) and Export is only possible with EDIUS X Workgroup. EDIUS X Pro allows project settings up to 4K and inport of files with up to 12K.
Friends! I work in the licensed version of Edius 9. I noticed an unpleasant feature. If the duration of the project is exceeded by more than 1 hour, the program starts to react slowly to keystrokes, and the responsiveness drops. ok this was really long and dry for a launch video. I'm sure it was unintentional but the voiceover also sounded like a virtual assistant which doesn't help. And ProDAD plugins? 😅 My experience with ProDAD has been outdated tacky effects with a shoddy interface. Like advertising 500 unimpressive sounds on a Casio keyboard. I also can't find any reviews for Edius X. Not even a casual mention from sites that typically review video editors. I only found out about it after browsing a long list of video editors on Wikipedia.

GV Job Monitor: We have seen this issue in combination with some anti-vir software. Please disable the anti-vir software for testing and make a rule to avoid this problem. EDIUS 9 offers Scene detection when capturing DV or HDV. EDIUS X does no longer support DV/HDV capture. Normally clips are imported as clips. Do you want to have a scene detection for a movie, to make clips from it?
No, ProRes does not need GPU power. It scales great with CPU and many cores. GPU power is used for decoding of more complex codecs like H.264, H.265 and RAW.
