Thank you for the great videos. I replaced mine in about 10 minutes after watching a couple of times. I removed the inner black pieces with the bezels though. Then removed them from the bezels.
Yes! I just haven’t found the right one. I don’t want one that looks like it is bolted on with mounts that will rust after one winter. It has to be super clean is presentation
Thanks! My first choice was black, none existed with the options I wanted at the time. Lot’s of ideas for you to check out in my AT4 playlist on the channel
I have been checking them out for a few days now. Thank you for the ideas. Are you going to do anything with the inside? I was thinking about doin a chrome delete on the interior with carbon fiber vinyl.
@@Donslife same here. I did my wheels with hyper dip and it came off since I did it while they were on the car and it was too humid outside. Will have to wait till winter and actually take them off the car to do them properly.
@@Gray_Beard that’s unfortunate, but the company’s main office is in Florida, the stuff is made to last in the heat. Humidity will mess up the adhesion for sure, making it weak. Year 5 on the Escalade and no peeling
Great job Don 👏 But there's question 🤔 Sierra denali 6.2 or Sierra at4 6.2 Which the best if u can do vedio versus will be great. Am really going to get one of big boys trucks but still need to decide between 2 monster Thanks bro
If I get the opportunity maybe sure. The main differences when I picked mine up: Denali - Sits lower, crew cab only, 2wd or 4wd, has adaptive suspension, 22” wheel option, more interior colors and lots of chrome. AT4 - 2” lift, off road tire options, various cab sizes, one interior choice and way less chrome.
The camera for some reason makes it seem that way. In person it is very close to the rest of the truck. You’ll notice on most trucks too that the plastics are slightly off compare to the steel bumpers even though they are both painted the same color.
@@Donslife yeah, same thing with the new silverado. The front bumper clip is slightly off than the rest of the body. It must be the different materials used. Alot of people don't notice it though.
Awesome vid! I’ve been searching online for a tutorial on this and nothing. Thanks for this! Did you wrap the grill surround or was it painted already?
@@hdjoe22 sorry I assumed you meant the grill. The white surround on the non-carbon AT4 is body color matched. So it is factory painted. The carbon pro grill surround will be black though.
That’s a tough question. Originally I wanted black, couldn’t find one with a sunroof and tech package, they were all missing something. I went with white as a second option and found one. I don’t think I missed out on any options I wanted 🤔. Had I done a factory order I may have looked into their upgraded exhaust. I have been waiting for a Borla one since March. If I think of something I will reply here
I have a decent amount, but some people have let me know they tried these pieces for their first time and had good results. It is an inexpensive way to practice on these parts too
I have bought a couple covers and painted one of them : New Grill, New Look - Full Install GMC Sierra AT4. Wife Surprises Me With a Gift! th-cam.com/video/YOdzAsmpYSM/w-d-xo.html
Wrapping the chrome bumpers is probably the lowest cost solution and can turn out really well. As for the SLE grille, you could wrap the surround but I think the inner parts would be too hard to wrap. Therefore paint or Hyperdip/Plastidip might be the other option unless you want to replace the grill or paint that one.
Man I cannot get those bezels to come off. Has anyone ever removed the lower bumper grill filler piece? trying to remove mine off 2019 Sierra Denali just wasn't sure if I need to remove the bumper completely in order to change out. I can't seem to find any info on that. Thanks.
I haven’t found an exact match. I used sw900 supreme gloss white by Avery and it is about 80% a match. In person it looks better matched than on camera
Looking at the clips, directly away from the area it is mounted. So not upward or downward, just straight out while applying gentle prying pressure. I thought the video would give a sense of that. Sorry if it didn’t
It is an overlay grille. A quick google search will show you some options. Search ‘grill overlay gmc sierra’. They only work for the AT4 or SLT trim for 2019-2022.5 models
The white wrap looks off on camera, but in natural light and in person it matches pretty well 🤷🏻♂️ I may paint them exact anyway now that I know I like the look. Enjoy the video! linktr.ee/donslife - Links to all of my products and discounts
@@adamparnow721 depends. I might get a body shop to do them as a perfect if I do my wheel arches. I like messing around with vinyl before I decide if painting is makes sense since it is permanent. The wheel arches can’t be wrapped (wouldn’t stick well) so painting would be ideal.
@@artezdavis1625 yes you can. Vinyl was just a good option in case I didn’t like the look and wanted to change back. Proper sanding, cleaning will be necessary and probably a plastic adhesion promotor for the best result depending on the paint you choose
@@adamparnow721 If i did them myself or a body shop I would get the exact match paint made. Lots of suppliers will make spray cans for you with the same paint a body shop would use. Just give them your paint code

Either works! Glad I could help
How did you remove the inner pieces?
Really enjoy your special touches to your truck, great choice. 👍
I actually like the Elevation fog light bumper piece better. One area I’m not a fan of on the higher level trims. This mod helps though. Nicely done.
Thanks! Gotta work with whatcha got 👍🏼
Thanks for the info, I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 GREAT JOB!
You’re Welcome
Do you have a link on where to get that Front grill, love your work also I have the denali same year
Hey there. I do have a link in my Linktree (see video description). But, this grill overlay will only fit SLT and AT4 grills
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks
