Not just people still using Windows 10, but people even still using Windows 7! Running Windows 10 or earlier in a VM is a great idea. As for the link in my description, can you please elaborate on what you mean? Thanks. 😎
This may be the ONLY option thanks I disable TPM in the Laptop Bios and Msoft re-enabled it and the screen with the "OPTIONS" is unreadable my laptop is 1080p this Menu is at LEAST 16k Because even on my 4k Monitor it is NOT readable even with my Camera at ZOONED it so it is the only thing in frame there aren't enough Pixels to form Letters, and in this all the main options are YES and one of the HIDDEN options is also YES too so good luck not ACCIDENTALLY getting mech computer on Windows 11
I have worked with all versions of windows, from the First one to this junk Windows 11. No any windows was so bad as is win11. Windows 95 was also bad, but not more than win11. Tons of issue. Shutting down applications. I installed and then deleted and restored Win10 which is the best windows among all windows versions. I will not install win11 again even if Microsoft gives me Win11 free of charge -- *it is headache*

I checked five physical Windows 10 PCs in my office and three Windows 10 virtual machines, and they all have the "WindowsUpdate" key in that registry branch. Are you positive you are running Windows 10 and not Windows 11? Windows 11 will not have the "WindowsUpdate" key under that registry branch. In Windows 11, the "WindowsUpdate" registry key is under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion". Tap the Windows key on your keyboard and the "R" key and bring up the run dialog box. Type WinVer and hit enter. It will show you what version of Windows you are running. Please let me know what it says. Thanks. 🙂

Hello. Do you mean you don't have the Windows 11 update popup notification on your Windows 10 PC?
@BeYourOwnNerd on windows 10, if i follow your exact steps Hkey local machine > software> polices> microsoft> windows / and there is no WindowsUpdate
And im not sure why, but i have this problem both on my 6 year laptop and on my new laptop that i just installed windows 10 on yesterday

Windows 11 will not have the "WindowsUpdate" key under that registry branch.
In Windows 11, the "WindowsUpdate" registry key is under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion".
