When I was three I told my grandma I wanted to become a flight attendant She didn’t believe me she says you are too young to know the hard work well it’s almost 10 years since that’s happened my dream is still there I love flying and I feel like I could learn a lot from being one personally I don’t know if I would be able to I can’t even stand in front of people and talk for 100 minutes I’m in surprised that I’ve been flying with Cathay Pacific for so long as a passenger I just hope that’s my dream can continually keep happening
One thing I just don't understand is how a flight attendant can wear high heels! ;) I always wear very feminine clothing & makeup, but simply can't wear heels even on the ground, they'd totally kill my feet, not to mention air...
I know it's very late but actually they have cabin shoes so they don't wear heels all the time..after getting into the aircraft they change into their cabin shoes which are flat and very comfortable..☺️

As long as Cathay operates in one of the country that you are considered as a citizen, then you can go through the selection, once you made it, i believe you can then change your base airport, but you have to obtain working visa for the country that u wise to stay. Because you have to be a permanent resident when you apply for the post. further explain, if you are a permanent resident of Hong Kong, you can apply for the job in Hong Kong, they hire you, you want to change ur base to Japan, you apply to be a permanent resident in Japan or working visa i am not sure about the details, then you can stay in Japan
I’m sorry to hear that! Keep believing and having faith that you’re be cured! I have good news for you, medical exams for all European or Us airlines don’t include HIV test. And even if you have it, this won’t stop them to give you this amazing job. But also I have to disappoint you that if you consider applying to Emirates, Qatar or Etihad, they won’t let you fly with them because of HIV. Stay healthy during these hard times!
