I found the okeefe’s and bought it because of your comment and let me tell you, the aquafor was a bust, but the okeefe’s is the absolutely bomb. Has me and my son’s lips soft and moisturized while being protected at the same time, thanks‼️

Well, I'm in the U.S. but I buy most of my skincare from Europe + Asia. Including my lip SPFs. I use Ultra Sun Lip SPF 50 and Sun Sense Lip Balm SPF 50. These lip sunscreens have modern European organic filters that are much longer lasting than Avobenzone and Octinoxate. Things like Mexoryl XL and SX and Tinosorb S. These are my HG lip sunscreens.

I love Lanolips - Tinted Balm SPF 30 :)) It's super comfortable on the lips and moisturising, not sticky but stays on for quite a long time. I tried 2 colours: Nude and Rhubarb, they are nice, not super pigmented.

Vanicream Lip Protectant SPF 30. Dries down with a slight cast, but it's tolerable under my lipstick. I also lightly dab under my eyes for moisture and SPF protection that doesn't cause orbital irritation.

The sun bum mineral SPF 30 lip balm is actually quite good! Moisturizing, non-irritating and no noticeable white cast (I have very fair skin though so take that with a grain of salt). It doesn’t have a noticeable taste to me either, and it’s fragrance free for the super sensitive among us!

Dr. Sam, please, try the "Biovéne-Barcelona lip balm treatment" with SPF 30! Smells like juicy kiwi, and doesn't taste bad at all. I kind of used to avoid spf lip balms because they usually taste so bad, but this one is incredible! It has kind of a weird texture between a gel and an oil but feels very moisturizing and not sticky. I swear I'm not sponsored, it's just that good.

I’m in Australia and use QV Face lip balm SPF 30 very hydrating and designed for sensitive skin, I wear under my mask face which I wear all day as a nurse.

Thank you for your recommendations! My favorite is "Sundance lip balm sensitiv SPF 50" (dm Germany drugstore brand) with vitamin E, Avocado oil and photostable UV filters. It's great for sensitive skin, vegan, with UVA and UVB protection, without dyes, fragrance, nanoparticles, parabens, paraffins. To protect coral reefs also without octinoxate, octocryline and oxybenzone. Very pleasant on the lips.

Smells slightly sweet like baked goods and I personally don't taste anything. Well, these horizontal lines are above the real lip area, right? So tinted balms or glosses can’t be applied there.
I would chose my normal skin creme with SPF to put it around the lips. Or I would go for a transparent lip balm to put it around my mouth but outside my lips. And finally, one of the tinted or not tinted on my lips.

Great question! It’s not personally something I’m concerned about based on the evidence we currently have regarding aluminum in cosmetics and their ability to affect other organ systems.

Are these all non irritating for lips? I find that whenever I use lipstick or most chapsticks, I get cracks in the corners of my mouth, so all I over use on my lips is Vaseline.

Hey doc, I get that you don't like to look like a zombie with white lips but I need to spend the day working under the sun in water in the Caribbeans and the amount of sun is just too much for my lips 👄. What is the strongest thickest whitest lip sun blocking balm in the world

Is the Colorescience Lip Shine sticky? I feel like my hair gravitates to my lips when I wear lip gloss type products.
