- We purchased the STR3 Folding Pushchair Trike for Daisy when she was 10.5 months old. We use it all the time and love it.
THIS IS NOT AN AD.
We found putting it up and down a little tricky to learn so I hope you find this assembly video useful.

Thank you for this. I thought id cracked it but was struggling with the recline when I put it together. A big help even though mum had worked it out by the time I got back through! 😂
Very sturdy in comparison to other strollers that we had. I get a lot of compliments for it. My baby loves being in the bassinet, The th-cam.com/users/postUgkx4qZutfp1y5CaTUcMTuFPbARE5u-8XLiE stroller comfortable. I like the rain cover and the white net that comes with it. I use the rain cover just to cover the car seat when it rains. If your front wheels don't turn well, make sure you lubricate.
My god, what a faff! I have twin girls and was considering buying one for each of them, but this looks far too fiddly for my needs. Thanks for taking the time to upload such an honest and detailed review and straight to the point also. X

no problem, glad you found it helpful! I found the wheel locks if you have it in the ‘child’ driving position.. you want it to be in the ‘parent’ driving position for you to control the wheel rather than the handle bars. This might not be your issue but it might be helpful x

I’m still struggling with it even with pressing in the button! Spent last 45mins trying to get it up! Decided to wait til my friend pops over so we can attempt together lol 😂

This thing is so convoluted I never used it until now.
The parent handle was so difficult to get out. I agree but the overall product is good.

Please help! Thanks to you I know how to open and close it but I don’t know how to put the child lock on so I am in control & I don’t know if that’s the reason why the break keeps coming on automatically or if I have got a faulty one!

Thanks for this, needed this thorough and clear review. Planning on buying this for my toddler. Actually would like to know if you think the "effort vs reward" factor is worth the purchase? Here in Australia they start at $259AUD which is just under £140 which is fine but it seems so much work for something that should be simple.
No problem! I'm glad you found the video helpful. I think to start off with I would have said no, it was too difficult to get to grips with and I was losing my patience with it. But after a couple of weeks, and a few practice goes of putting it up and down... I was really glad I purchased it. We use it a lot and I feel it has longevity because she can use it in many different ways as she gets older too. It is small enough to go in the car without really noticing it so we use it on days out a lot. Hope this helps!

Hello, I have a question. we have the same bike. but I wonder why when I steer, the wheel won't turn where I want it to, but it only goes straight? Do I need to do something or is the bike like that? Thank you for your response
how do i tighten this part i control it. the crank is not fixed all the way and that's why sometimes even the front wheels won't turn. how do you tighten it?
Does the front wheel lock? I've just bought this trike and when I push it the wheel starts turning by itself making it so difficult to push if your child can't hold it straight or use the peddles? Thanks xx
yes it does, the steering can be controlled by the parent or by the child when they are older. There is a small red switch/button by the front wheel that changes the steering operator. Hope this helps and makes sense.

I've just got one od these give to me for my g5andzon but I cannot work put how to get off child bar that keeps them in so I can wash the cover... can anyone help??
ahh that sounds frustrating. I haven't done this myself so I'm not sure. If it won't come off maybe just sponge it down and try cleaning it without removing it. Good Luck x
Hi I have just ordered one of these after watching your review, I have seen a few reviews which say it’s hard to steer, have you found that to be the case?
Hi! I’m glad you’ve ordered a Trike! we still love ours and Daisy is 17 months old now ☺️ i don’t think it’s hard to steer - i can steer one handed whilst walking the dog. The turning depth isn’t great though.. the wheels only turn a certain amount and aren’t 360.. so if you want to turn a particularly sharp corner it can be a little tricky. Not enough of an issue for it to bother me though x

Do you think a 2.5 year old can pedal it on their own?
@@d1user It’s not heavy, my daughters 2.5 now and she can pedal herself. I think the only issue would be reaching the pedals. If your child is petite they may struggle to turn the pedals fully round.

i know what you mean! it gets really quick and easy once you’ve done it a few times though ☺️ haha our dog is used to a lot of noise and is very lazy 😅

How do you control the front wheel?
you have to swap the wheel around - one way is parent control and one way is child control x
Can anyone please explain how to disable the brake on this trike? I took my son out on the trike today and it was braking at every little stone and pebble and we had to stop literally after every few seconds to unbrake. In the end I took him off the trike and pushed the empty trike but still it was braking every few seconds on any littlest bump.
Im not sure but it sounds like your trike might have a fault. I haven't had this problem myself. Sorry I can't help more.
That means many others have the same problem. Maybe only yours doesn't have this. Mine has the same stupid break that make me not use it anymore.
how do you release the brake lock

there's a little pedal on the righthand side at the bottom near the wheel. Just flip that upwards and that should release the brakes.

there should be a brake that you can flip up and down on the right hand side :)
Feeding a child through a feeding tube through a stomach port is easier than this.
For the parent handle bar at the back, spray some WD40 or equaly good lubricant on the silver pin and push it in all the way before pulling up.
It is a ridiculously complex piece of kit, I agree! That's a really good idea.

My baby is about to be 3 she walking but then tantrums be crazy an I'm looking for something so we can just go out with out me having to chase her when we go to mall she hate sitting in shopping cart she don't like when I'm holding her hand she just wanna take off an run away to explore🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦so I'm like wat can I buy to keep her comfortable so do u think this will be good for her?????????
my daughter likes this because she can hold onto the handle bars and pretend to be on a motorbike! she makes motorbike noises and says ‘beep beep’ 😅 so it might be a fun distraction for your daughter x

no, she’s 2 and a half now and is too big to sleep in it x

@@MotivateMeStation it was fine at the beginning but by the time she was 18 months + it was too small to comfortably nap in. However my daughter has always been a bigger baby/toddler (in clothes 1-2 sizes bigger etc!) so a more petite baby would probably last longer ☺️
You didn't show is how to install the pedals ?
My daughter falls asleep alot can it lay down so they can sleep
So it does recline but not very far... I think Smart trike do a series of these type of stroller trikes and it looks like a couple of the other trikes would be better if you want to use it for sleeping. A toddler could definitely sleep in this trike but it probably wouldn't be the most comfortable!

On the back of the seat there is a clip where you put the front wheel when you collapse it 😅

What is the zip bit for on the hood
to be honest i’m not sure! we’ve never used it and it didn’t come with another bit that attaches.. i wonder if you can buy an extra attachment for sunshade perhaps 🧐 x
Omg this question is driving me crazy I bought it used but can't seem to find a reason for the zipper... I've looked all over the internet and no attachments that go to it either... why is it there !!

Having a hard time with the seatbelt. It’s not clicking
that must be frustrating for you! i felt the seatbelt was a bit fiddly and everything has to be lined up perfectly or it won’t work. But if yours isn’t clicking in then maybe there is a fault.
