I’m sure all these helmet cam videos are done just for laughs because there all just poo. I just have a chin mount and my Sena head set connect to the GoPro though Bluetooth. Maybe do your own research before making another crap video like all the others on TH-cam

teapotone you title say how to get the best motovlog helmet set up. It’s just click bate and a copy of almost every other setup 😅 some advice. Ls2 do helmets that can be fitted with sena ride pal intercoms so no need with stick on bits. Add the Myk app to peace the Bluetooth and the video from the go pro together, there no need for that usb c audio adapter. and you pretty much would have the best set up. Your welcome!
@@GBMark90 I've already tried it, that's why I know it's no good for the videos. I've also tried connecting up another Pactalk Bold unit direct to a sound recorder, and meshing that into the group to record the chat. It's still not good enough quality to use the audio in these type of vids, the only decent way of doing it is to mic up everyone in the chat and record their audio individually, then sync it up in post. Which is what I do. Which is why I did this vid to show people how to do it, because lots of people have asked me how I do it. If it's not for you, fair enough.
Glad someone has made a newer video on motovlog setups! Been looking for a while to get some ideas on where to mount things, but nothing has been this detailed. Cheers!
Bruce, I have been scratching my head on how to get my Nolan N87 Plus setup for weeks and I had all those bits you have laying around. I have tried the tie on mounts and they loosen up. Finally I watched your video carefully and my helmet has scalloped sides (concave) whereas the go pro mount adhesive is convex. I have finally worked out how to avoid this problem by putting it on a ridge and cutting a small slot in the adhesive where the ridge is. It will then sit perfectly over the ridge to the side where you put it and using your attachment combination it's going to be a winner! Also my front vent will still work using your system. Mate you are a genius - well done!
Ive been looking all over for a video like yours that explains everything and the best setup. Was struggling to find a video that explains the best way to get good voice coverage. Cheers mate 😁
Very informative teapot. I have oft considered doing a vlog but having seen what's involved I really do not have the patience. Fair credit to you and your like for producing free to see vlogs. Keep 'em coming....
Thanks folks, yeah it’s a bit of a pain to constantly have to check batteries, connections, cards etc, but personally I really enjoy it so it’s worth it for me. But don’t get me started on the editing.... 🤦♂️😂👍
Nice one Bruce..got my license after watching your vlog..riding for 3 years now..gone over to the dark side today and set this system up..keep it up mate
Thank you so much for the Sugru tip. I have a helmet with more curves than the curved mount could match and was working on all sorts of methods to build a flat spot for the camera mount. This is a life saver.
TeaPotOne, this was great. And folks, no need to post negative comments here. Why not be kind? Isn't the world challenging enough? I'm also a professional television director and editor with tons of experience. The best way to get good audio is to hardwire, as you have done here. Bluetooth is not reliable. Thank you for this video. It was super helpful for me. I'm about to set my GoPro, helmet and Sena. Keep posting ,TeaPotOne!.
Spot on install TeapotOne ! I have a different challenge - my GoPro is mounted out in front of my windshield. In addition, I do not want any wires coming from the GoPro back into my helmet (tethered) so, I'm flummoxed. I chose the location of the GoPro first so there is nothing in the way (tall windshield). I have a great stout mount so that part is done. I have a USB charger in the dash to run to the GoPro to record and all-day session. I'm thinking get a GoPro case with the mic adapter space to get that part done right up front. That leaves two cables coming back to inside the windshield - the "new" USB-C to my charge port and the mic cable. I'm thinking a wireless mic so, the receiver is on the handlebars or the like and the transmitter (smaller the better) is in the helmet or on the helmet with a short mic cable inside the helmet. Done. Any advice? would be welcome.
Get a wireless mic, like the Rode wireless, then connect a standard Lav mic to the wireless mic. Run the lay into the helmet as usual and then run the wire into a jacket pocket where the wireless mic is. Now locate the wireless transmitter on top of your GoPro (in a media mod) and use the horseshoe mount to secure the transmitter to the GoPro. It won’t be rain proof though. For a weatherproof system, use a sound recorder like a zoom H1 or Taz system and put that in your pocket, then run the cables Lav mic into your helmet as usual. You’ll need to sync up audio to video when you start recording, but you can do that with a clap/horn etc
More Scottish engineering...you know I love it! Lol! & I already know it works...the silicone ear plugs are the best thing ever...also stabilizes the plug to eliminate popping & crackling...I put it around my mic plug as well to stabilize & weatherproof those connections too...🖖🏿😎👍🏿
I put a small lining of super glue around the edges of the helmet sticky mount to make sure it will NEVER come off that position without ripping the helmet to shreds. There is no play. .and that's good given the weight of the gopro and the TREMENDOUS forces of wind resistance. .especially when you're turning your head to check it's safe to lane change. Also, the fewer the joints the better. An extended curved mount arm is so much better [it's cheap too so I buy 2x of them for backups]. Cool thing about the curved mount arm is you can swing it out further from the helmet and adjust the gopro to face forward again with more clearance for keeping it looking straight when you tilt your head up or down. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Because sharing. . .is caring.
Bruce - I just really enjoyed that vid which popped up on my feed. Cracking. Then I saw Mark Russell's comment. What an utter prick. Clearly a charisma bypass donor. Not that I want to do any public vlogging, but I do want to vid my rides after my 37 years bikeless (now fixed..... sixteenfold) for myself, my lad, and even the family. I have a spare AGV, and a Cardo, and so I am thinking to set my AGV up for that - as I don't want to stick anything on the Neotech. That was really helpful mate - thanks a lot 👍
Great vid Bruce! well presented, logical and enlightening. I went into watching with "what is this witchcraft?" and left with an "Oh Cool". Top Job mate 👍
I like to use a smear of dialectic grease on any electrical contacts that might be exposed to the elements, and I would do that for the mic plug and socket. Stops any corrosion or oxidation of the electric contact. Love the editing, Bruce. Top stuff.
I really enjoyed this TeapotOne. I have been away from motorcycle vlogging for over 5 years and although I'm soon to get a GL1800 trike (I'm disabled now so cannot ride two wheels now) I want to restart my channel. My preferred helmet is the Shoei Neotec and I had my GoPro Hero 3+ Silver on a similar set up to yours, only a little further back. I took photos of my set up fortunately but require some bits and bobs like the mic (I've ordered the adapter) and communication system. I did have the Sena 20S previously but I hear good reviews of the Cardo system. I too have the Hero 7 black now. I usually record in 1080p 30fps. Ride safe my friend.
A few improvements easy to make to this You can get a GoPro Case that holds the case and the adaptor the screws I replaced with normal sized screws that sit flush with arms so there isn't lots of thumb screws blocking the view of a nice helmet. I've had this same setup in the past but replaced it with a GoPro Max on the top of helmet, might look a bit derp, but it starts conversations and turns heads with the addition of amazing footage to make great content with!
Great video Bruce. I'm not planning on doing loads of vlogging as such but it'll be good to be able to speak some of the time and pic up the engine noise. Thanks for the tips about making sure the mic had two bands on the jack rather than three for the GoPro adapter.
I have now sorted out all the kit and did my first ride. Was awesome and I hope to do loads more. So much fun and thank you for getting me going. Liked and subbed

Love the new studio, and nice vid buddy! You can replace the thumb screws with normal screws, just to tidy it up more, and even when tight you can still make adjustments.👍😜
Cheers bud, yeah the office is a work in progress, still got some changes to make etc. Yeah I’ve seen folk do that with plain screws and the like, but I actually like the look of the OEM ones in this setup?? Then again, I’m not known for my stylish looks 😂👍
6:15 PRO TIP: Use a hairdryer or heat gun to warm up both the adhesive on the mount and the helmet before attaching the two parts together, that way they'll bond a lot better.
Best of luck with your future plans This video is not my cup of tea but I thought I would let it run to help out on the analytics Looking forward to watching the Picos trips
Watched the 44T interview and have been binge watching all your vids. Absolute class content bud. A quick tip with sticky gopro mounts is to use a lighter on the adhesive until its bubbling and gooey then wack it on, will never come off if you do that. Look forward to more content 👌👍
Nice looking Lid that! I've gone the path more travelled and joined team GoPro this year. I went for the SuGru option and managed a perfectly central mount. Looks like that would be impossible for you with this helmet though. Pesky designers, putting cool vents on the chin! Loving the chin camera position so far, but hating that adapter nonsense! Happy new lidding mate!
Really shows what's involved in producing a great blog!. Nice how to video Bruce. One thing I see with a lot of riders with GoPro cameras is not having the camera titled up and back enough...with the wide angle lens you can really tilt it back . Great new intro by the way!! Cheers, Steve
Thanks for a very informative and easy to follow set-up guide Bruce - much appreciated. Ta for the tip about the silicone ear plugs to fill the opening. Could you do a follow-up video on the camera settings you use for the Go-Pro 7?
Nope, I don’t just hit record and then leave it until the battery runs out. I switch the camera on and off all the time and only record short segments of what I want to say or film. A battery lasts about 45mins on average so I just ensure I change the battery over when I think I’m getting to around that time - so when we stop for fuel, cup of splash etc. For a full day on the bike I’ll go through around 4-6 batteries when away on tour 👍
I fitted my gopro by moulding Sugro to make a shape to fit the gopro mount in front of the air vent. 2 years in and 150 mph later it hasn’t moved, it’s dead straight and solid. The Sugro came in black so it blends in. I now can’t open the vent but I don’t need to. Great tip to seal the door 👍
I’ve been watching quite a few of your vids over the past year, and how you’ve arrived at certain inevitable decisions which will hopefully allow you to be successful doing something we all enjoy. Good luck Bruce and all the best, as for this vid it’s right on the money, but seriously I couldn’t be bothered - I’ll leave it to the experts 👍
Great video, I have a similar setup, tried and tested for years now. Shoei NXR with a hero3+ mounted dead center on the chin with Sugru, and then a Cardo Scala Rider G9x clamped to the side. I've been using this setup and those two pieces of tech now for years and no issues at all.
Could you use a female 3.5 mm splitter and a male to male lead to run from your GoPro audio pack and your comms unit to use the same microphone for footage and also record conversation from comms?
Love the intro! Several helpful hints, I like the earplug as a weatherproofing compound, BRILLIANT! I’m wondering, will you offer these videos in English in the future? Just kidding, there were a couple words & phrases I missed but love & support your channel regardless(-:
Good job. I think I have a good set up. I use sugru to help stick the mount on the chin & use a windjammer thingy to stop wind flying up my lid. Also my mic has an adapter so I don't need the big gopro mic adapter
Thanks for this Bruce. Did you notice a huge gain in the upgraded speakers? Currently changing my mic to the boom from the wired and ordering a better deadcat.
Only for music, there’s better base and the audio seems a bit crisper, but for general stuff like calls, back-2-back chat on the Comms etc - no I don’t really notice a difference.👍
Great video, Bruce! Just a few of tips ... not sure if already mentioned. 1) Use some a little cleaning alcohol cloth to clean the areas that you will stick the bits to ... I have had 3M products come loose as a result of not doing this. 2) If the audio adapter has limited cable length and position options on the lid, test out the camera first for angles to ensure you have a final cam position before fitting the extra bits that plug into the cam. 3) If you are afraid of potentially having your £400 camera bouncing down the road, attach one of the little GoPro string lanyards to it and just loop your chinstrap through it.
Brilliant new intro bud! Already got my Vlog lid, mainly the same as yours. Magic idea aboot the putty!! Got loads of footage of our Scottish roads but struggling to find decent software to edit my footage, any tips? (MacBook). 🏴👍🏴
Thanks for the vid - just what I was looking for. I’ve got the same issue on mount position. Adventure helmet doesn’t have one flat surface. 😫 And my OCD doesn’t let me offset it 😬😁 but if I have to stick the sound box on the left them maybe that’s the solution. 🤔 Not sure Sucre has same adhesive qualities as 3M. I used Sucre under my peak to make a flat surface for a mount (session 5 Hero) then put a couple of screws through into the mount to make sure.
Well that just buggered that lid 😊, silicon putty could have a lot of uses, thanks for that👍 did you clean the areas on the lid with alcohol wipes off camera? also its a good idea to use hair dryer sorry in you case a heat gun and warm the mount up a bit. Good luck in your new venture.👌
Just a heads up there are doors you can buy online that leaves the audio slot open for the GoPro, no need to shove the putty stuff in there. You can also remove the thumb screws or buy aftermarket ones that are smaller. Good video.
Did you do a review on that skid ? And why didn’t you use the in built com package they make for it ? Keep up the great work I’m loving your channel mate Slowly getting up to date 😂
I didn’t do a final review, but I did this vid and I wore it for about 2yrs NEW Ruroc Atlas 2 0 Helmet | Unboxing & First Look th-cam.com/video/kqwpK0NhZVM/w-d-xo.html I genuinely like the lid - it looks great and I love the magnetic chin-strap, but it was loud. I didn’t use the Comms kit as I have a Cardo Pactalk Bold and they’re way better👍
Greetings for the homeland 🏴 I have mounted my camera with the sugru, very strong and great for very curved helmet as it is mouldable. It does need a day to cure but can be easily removed with a bit of dental floss. Keep the vids coming they are barry
Ha Ha thanks bud and I love your channel tag! Aye I’ve never used the Sugru method myself but know plenty who have, seems a great option for angular lids as you say. Cheers for now 👍
Have a look at Chin mount from the USA they might do a gopro mount for your helmet i got one for a HJC helmet fits perfect, also i got ride of the long connecting gopro bolts and use M5x18mm allan key bolts tidys mount up no wind noise safe riding steve
Hi Bruce I dont know if you have seen this for your helmet it keeps the mic adapter out of the way and makes it cleaner looking. Im getting one myself after seeing your vlog on setting up your helmet for vlogging. Ulanzi V2 Protector Housing Case Cover for GoPro Hero 7 6 5 Vlogging Cage Frame on ebay. Hope it helps. Hi , just watched this video and it's cool and something to aim for. I have a simple question if you could answer that would be great. If you have a gopro 3 or 4 can you just plug a mic in the side and record your voice direct whilst filming your ride. Cheers.
Hi Karl, Yes mate, up to the Hero 4 you could simply plug a 3.5mm audio jack direct in to the GoPro 👍 I’ve no idea why they stopped that - one of the worst things they did 🤦♂️
Fantastic video. I’ve pretty much followed this to the letter. Do you find in the wet that you have any problem with the lavalier mic audio, what with water ingress into the 3.5mm jack socket?
teapotone thank you so much for getting back to me. I saw you talking about putting the silicon around the input on the GoPro whee the media adapter connects, but must have missed the part where you talked about putting the silicon around the mic jack. It makes a huge amount of sense.
Well put together vid sir. I have found using a separate Digital Recorder to run audio into (Tascam DR-05X) to be working well for me.. partly because i did not want to clutter up the helmet with that Expensive Audio Adaptor from GoPro...and actually my digital recorder was only $30 more and I have multiple uses for it.
That’s a good idea with the external audio recorder. I’d thought about doing that but was happy with the audio from the adaptor to be honest. Handy though 👍
teapotone Yes indeed. Your audio sounds good. I have a vid addressing the Audio setup i shared a few weeks back utilizing the digital recorder. Again, great vid!
Hi there , quick question for you, at the moment have no camera, but am looking into one for my trip to Norway, if you had no camera, which one would you buy? Great channel ,love your vids.
Nice work Bruce. What video editing software do you use. Also, how do you work around the limited battery life on the Go Pros - do you just carry more batteries already charged or something else??
Cheers Gaz, I think it was actually you and ‘The Likeable Rider’ who put me on to using the mouldable putty to waterproof the mic connection too wasn’t it? You use the Sony don’t you, a lot of people have been asking me about them but I’ve been sending them your way if you don’t mind? 👍
Just battery management. I know I’ll get roughly 30-45 mins out a Hero7 battery so I just monitor a rough guesstimate at how long I’ve been recording for, then make sure I stop and change batteries accordingly.
Teapot, have you seen the motoradds helmet mount? Aims to eliminate all those elbows, although you do lose some of the flexibility. There is also a canadian company called ride tech moto that do mounts tailored to helmets. Sadly they don't do one for the Ruroc at the moment, but it might be worth keeping an eye on.
Hi Michael, It’s not needed on the Cardo because it has inbuilt technology that does a great job in cancelling out any wind noise. Plus the audio doesn’t need to be as good on the Cardo as it does on the lav mic

I have used a Ulanzi GoPro vlogging case and that way the massive audio adapter sits right below my camera
6:15 PRO TIP: Use a hairdryer or heat gun to warm up both the adhesive on the mount and the helmet before attaching the two parts together, that way they'll bond a lot better.
Best of luck with your future plans
This video is not my cup of tea but I thought I would let it run to help out on the analytics
Looking forward to watching the Picos trips
Thanks anyway Tic, can’t please everyone eh 😉 Appreciate you thinking of me with the analytics though, top stuff 🙏👍
The superglue for the deadcat is a great tip!
Thanks bud - I lost LOTs of dead cats before that dawned on me! 🤦♂️😉👍
Hi Mr Tpot
Great news that you’re back.
Look forward to lots more from you. FTP... its their loss!
Cheers Andy, welcome to team GoPro - and all the faff that comes with it 😂
Some great tips here Bruce. It was the lack of waterproofing that caused me to stick with a Ghost set up.
Cheers Rob, aye it’s a game changer isn’t it. ‘The Likeable Rider’ and ‘BulldogGaz’ put me on to it 👍
I’m on it with the silicone ear plugs tip, brilliant! Thank you 👍🏻
No probs 👍
Really shows what's involved in producing a great blog!. Nice how to video Bruce. One thing I see with a lot of riders with GoPro cameras is not having the camera titled up and back enough...with the wide angle lens you can really tilt it back . Great new intro by the way!! Cheers, Steve
Thanks bud 👍
Thanks for a very informative and easy to follow set-up guide Bruce - much appreciated. Ta for the tip about the silicone ear plugs to fill the opening. Could you do a follow-up video on the camera settings you use for the Go-Pro 7?
Yep course bud, no probs 👍
Nice video.
But what about battery management? With gopro7 You have the frame. It must take quite a long time to change the battery.
Thanks
Nope, I don’t just hit record and then leave it until the battery runs out. I switch the camera on and off all the time and only record short segments of what I want to say or film.
A battery lasts about 45mins on average so I just ensure I change the battery over when I think I’m getting to around that time - so when we stop for fuel, cup of splash etc.
For a full day on the bike I’ll go through around 4-6 batteries when away on tour 👍
Always great to see a bearded bro talking bike stuff lol. Very informative thanks for sharing😎👍
Great vid. Really helpful, any chance of a video on how you sync all of your footage and edit. Keep up the great content.
We did the same thing, its great stuff.
Ha Ha thanks very much Andrew, much appreciated bud 👍
great video mate, nice and easy to follow.
Cheers bud 👍
Great video, I have a similar setup, tried and tested for years now. Shoei NXR with a hero3+ mounted dead center on the chin with Sugru, and then a Cardo Scala Rider G9x clamped to the side. I've been using this setup and those two pieces of tech now for years and no issues at all.
Spot on, well presented. Top job. 👍🏼 😎 🌎
Thanks bud
Could you use a female 3.5 mm splitter and a male to male lead to run from your GoPro audio pack and your comms unit to use the same microphone for footage and also record conversation from comms?
No the Pactalk mic connection isn’t a 3.5mm, it has it’s own specific connection.
Great vid well explained and very helpful...you just got another Sub👍🏻
Love the intro! Several helpful hints, I like the earplug as a weatherproofing compound, BRILLIANT! I’m wondering, will you offer these videos in English in the future? Just kidding, there were a couple words & phrases I missed but love & support your channel regardless(-:
Good job. I think I have a good set up. I use sugru to help stick the mount on the chin & use a windjammer thingy to stop wind flying up my lid. Also my mic has an adapter so I don't need the big gopro mic adapter
Nice one, what mic do you use?
@@teapotone I think its called Purple Panda
Great vid Bruce this will help me with my setup 👍
Thanks for this Bruce. Did you notice a huge gain in the upgraded speakers? Currently changing my mic to the boom from the wired and ordering a better deadcat.
Only for music, there’s better base and the audio seems a bit crisper, but for general stuff like calls, back-2-back chat on the Comms etc - no I don’t really notice a difference.👍
@@teapotone Thanks. I had considered an upgrade but my music quality is high enough.
I wish you every success on your new career path.
Thanks Michael, that’s very kind of you bud 👍
Great tips Jay, cheers 👍
Brilliant new intro bud! Already got my Vlog lid, mainly the same as yours. Magic idea aboot the putty!! Got loads of footage of our Scottish roads but struggling to find decent software to edit my footage, any tips? (MacBook). 🏴👍🏴
I’m a mac man too and use Final Cut Pro X but it’s a bit pricey.👍
@@teapotone Cheers bud, I'll look into it. Glad your back, keep up the great work.
Thanks for the vid - just what I was looking for.
I’ve got the same issue on mount position. Adventure helmet doesn’t have one flat surface. 😫
And my OCD doesn’t let me offset it 😬😁 but if I have to stick the sound box on the left them maybe that’s the solution. 🤔
Not sure Sucre has same adhesive qualities as 3M.
I've never seen those silicone putty earplugs, that tip is going to change up my routine this summer for sure! Thank you!
Great stuff Eric, it’s a game changer for riding in the rain eh 😉👍
Definitely. I use a GP4 in a snap case with a hole drilled through it for the mic dongle. I'll feel a lot better about it with the hole sealed.
Definitely watched Blue Peter as a kid.
Good stuff.
Keep up the great work I’m loving your channel mate
Slowly getting up to date 😂
I didn’t do a final review, but I did this vid and I wore it for about 2yrs

I genuinely like the lid - it looks great and I love the magnetic chin-strap, but it was loud.
I didn’t use the Comms kit as I have a Cardo Pactalk Bold and they’re way better👍
@@teapotone thank you
Also it’s great that you have the patience to reply
Much appreciated
Neil
Praise you for making this vid! Handy guide!
My pleasure bud 👍
Perfect explanation, thank you!
My pleasure John 👍
Greetings for the homeland 🏴
I have mounted my camera with the sugru, very strong and great for very curved helmet as it is mouldable. It does need a day to cure but can be easily removed with a bit of dental floss.
Keep the vids coming they are barry
Ha Ha thanks bud and I love your channel tag!
Aye I’ve never used the Sugru method myself but know plenty who have, seems a great option for angular lids as you say.
Cheers for now 👍
You could remove the thumb screws on the go pro mount and replace with M5 allen bolts. Looks a lot neater & less cluttered.
M5x20 or 25
You know, I couldn't have said. I have a small drawer full of m5 bolts for cycling stuff, but I checked size and m5x20 is closest to Gopro length.
Great videos Bruce, glad you e chosen to pursue this and you might be inspiring to make some content of my own. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Cheers Paul, that’s great to hear bud 👍
Have a look at Chin mount from the USA they might do a gopro mount for your helmet i got one for a HJC helmet fits perfect, also i got ride of the long connecting gopro bolts and use M5x18mm allan key bolts tidys mount up no wind noise safe riding steve
I tried ‘Chin Mounts’ but they fell off and took the camera with it!
I now use ‘RideTech’ mounts
Hi Bruce I dont know if you have seen this for your helmet it keeps the mic adapter out of the way and makes it cleaner looking. Im getting one myself after seeing your vlog on setting up your helmet for vlogging. Ulanzi V2 Protector Housing Case Cover for GoPro Hero 7 6 5 Vlogging Cage Frame on ebay.
Hope it helps.
Jack Stewart
Hi Jack, yep I’ve seen them bud ta, but I actually like the look of the adaptor on the lid to be honest 🤷♂️👍
Cool vid tea pot, thooms up dude. Any plans for Aberdeenshire? Would love a natter, my lads a year and a half into his force career.
Hi Derek,
Aye I’d love to come back up home on the bike again, will see what this year brings 👍
Good idea with the earplugs, Im going to do that to my set up.
Thanks bud, it works really well 👍
Hi , just watched this video and it's cool and something to aim for. I have a simple question if you could answer that would be great. If you have a gopro 3 or 4 can you just plug a mic in the side and record your voice direct whilst filming your ride. Cheers.
Hi Karl,
Yes mate, up to the Hero 4 you could simply plug a 3.5mm audio jack direct in to the GoPro 👍
I’ve no idea why they stopped that - one of the worst things they did 🤦♂️
Fantastic video. I’ve pretty much followed this to the letter. Do you find in the wet that you have any problem with the lavalier mic audio, what with water ingress into the 3.5mm jack socket?
Not now, that’s the point of the mouldable silicon putty.
Before that yes, when it was heavy prolonged rain then it did get in and cause havoc
teapotone thank you so much for getting back to me. I saw you talking about putting the silicon around the input on the GoPro whee the media adapter connects, but must have missed the part where you talked about putting the silicon around the mic jack. It makes a huge amount of sense.
A tip: Run the long speaker cable (the antenna) up over your head (under the cap) for best reception.
Cheers Nick 👍
Cracking info there Bruce, another top video😎👍
Thanks brother! 😉👍
Well in lad glad your back
Well put together vid sir.
Thanks bud, I used Final Cut Pro X for editing. Yep I have about 6-8 batteries with me for a days shooting
Should you do the same with the wax on the mic adapter as well Bruce ? Or is that waterproof ?
Thanks 👍🏼
Aye I do that on the adaptor too bud, keeps everything weatherproof as best you can 👍
@@teapotone thanks, I’ve just bought an adapter so going to give this a try :-), and treat my whopping 28 subs to some audio 🤣👍
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Ride safe. Cheers.
No bother Jose, and you 😉👍
Nice one Bruce well explained, bit of a faff with the gopro and the audio adapter, but it seems to work for many 👍😁
Cheers Gaz, I think it was actually you and ‘The Likeable Rider’ who put me on to using the mouldable putty to waterproof the mic connection too wasn’t it? You use the Sony don’t you, a lot of people have been asking me about them but I’ve been sending them your way if you don’t mind? 👍
@@teapotone no problem send the to me, I'm thinking of doing a similar video as I get asked about my Sony setup 👍😁😉
can you share a link to all the products you used for the helmet video blogging setup
Great vid and great tips Bruce I'm getting that putty stuff fantastic good one ride safe mate thanks
Cheers Thumper 👍
Great video!! But did I miss something? How does the Cardo system connect to the gopro?
Thanks Noe, no the GoPro doesn’t connect to the Cardo.
Nice video, very helpful and informative. Thanks
how do you keep the camera powered the battery on GoPro's don't last very long
Just battery management.
Great tips Bruce
Cheers 👍
Nice one Bruce, can you tell me why you dont put the fluffy cat fur thing on the Cardo mic as well mate?
Hi Michael,
It’s not needed on the Cardo because it has inbuilt technology that does a great job in cancelling out any wind noise. Plus the audio doesn’t need to be as good on the Cardo as it does on the lav mic
